This vendor goes above and beyond! We are so impressed with their menu and set up. They are very reliable and professional. We order for 260 and the quality is excellent. I tend to order a month in advance and I am given the menu options two weeks in advance. Andre is very reliable and answers any of my concerns or questions within an hour. I definitely recommend them!!!

I have used Servers Standing By countless times now for work breakfasts and luncheons and they have never steered me wrong! They have a vast menu, large portions, tasty food, a flat $ 20 delivery fee, handle the clean up afterward, and they even set up table cards in front of each item! I have usually placed orders with Brian, and each and every time he is professional and quick to respond — Thank you for all your constant help!

Servers Standing By really impressed our group of 50 with their food presentation and quality. We ordered the Salmon Lox Continental breakfast. Thank you!

Although I’m not the person who booked Servers Standing By my sister-​in-​law did the job for me. My husband passed away suddenly and we had to plan for food after the funeral. As our guest list grew (from 300 to 1,000 people) this catering firm was on top of everything. They also order the right amount of food as we had no idea what to order. The food was excellent. On top of all this, they did an excellent job cleaning up after the event. No one was there supervising them to make sure they cleaned everything, they did this all on their own. The church where the funeral/​after funeral was held are now recommending them as a caterer. Thank you Servers Standing By for making a difficult event less stressful.

So I have given them a 2^nd chance to redeem their business side. Everyone deserves a 2^nd chance (i think) I called last week to get their menu for the week of our event and I spoke to Carlo again. He was very polite and kind and he emailed me their menu right away, within 5 minutes actually. (Hi5 Carlo!!) I called again today to place our catering order and my phone experience was great and I received my invoice for the order right after I got off the phone. Now that is awesome customer service!!! I don’t have any concerns about the food or delivery, because last time it was great. Thank you Servers Standing By for proving that you are an awesome catering company!!!

We have used Servers Standing By on several occasions at my company. They are always reliable and their food never disappoints. It has become our only catering choice and I highly recommend them for small or large orders. Their staff is super friendly and helpful and I have never had a bad experience.

Reliable, Professional and Dependable. Three words that do not describe Servers Standing By. I have used these guys with success for smaller corporate events at my day job for a while and have recommended them to countless other friends. They seemed to be really good and affordable. I thought they would be a good choice for a special Saturday event I was doing for another client.
Wrong.
After giving me two proposals, I was able to sell my boss on the higher bid. When I wrote them back at 2pm in the afternoon to give them the good news and finalize the details, I was basically told ‘Sorry, we’re closed for the day — find another caterer.‘
They never called me to follow up on the outstanding proposals. They never advised me that there was a deadline to decide. No email. Nothing.
This put me in a terrible position with my client and I had to go into a mad scramble to sort everything out. It caused me a lot of needless headache. When I wrote to Jane to see if she could at least recommend another comparable caterer she wrote (from her Blackberry):
«Any of the markets like Whole Foods which is in the Castro or Mollie Stone’s or Draegars. We start at 4am and we are finished for the day, I am sorry.»
If WHOLE FOODS and MOLLIE STONES are suitable alternatives for Servers Standing By, then going forward that’s who I’ll use and recommend. Why on earth would I give business to a group of people who have no regard for the fact that of ALL the caterers I could have selected, I selected them — a company who I have been loyal to for quite some time. I trusted them to come through on this event. I even upsold their menu to my new boss and raved about the quality and service. Now I just look absolutely foolish. To make it worse, now I have to run around late on a Friday afternoon trying to solve this whole mess.
But hey, I guess they like to get the weekend started early at Servers Standing By. Screw everyone else.

I hired Servers Standing By for a 200-​person cocktail reception for a non-​profit organization, and would do it again in a heartbeat. The service was impeccable, professional, and detailed. The food received many compliments by the guests. And Carlo was just a pleasure to work with. I hirely recommend them if you want good quality food and service without the attitude or pretention of a fancy event planner/​caterer!

Does it get any better than this? I think not… these guys are awesome, serving anything you need anytime, anywhere. Fresh ingredients, none of that frozen junk. A no-​brainer when it comes to who’s for lunch… great job guys!

I have used a ton of different caterers for work related purposes and I have to say that SSB has been by far the best. They are super helpful, so nice, always on time, and the food is always outstanding. I have them cater for my company about once a week and every time I have at least a few people say «whoa, where did the food come from this week?» And it’s always SSB! LOVE THEM!

These guys helped me do the impossible, plan a wedding in 2 weeks, Thank you Carlo!!! Food was excellent, table settings were excellent, service was excellent. Highly recommended!!! I told Carlo what my budget was what i wanted and he worked with me throughout the entire process’s even helped my friends throw me in the swimming pool! Totally did not see that one coming. I will defiantly use them for my other events.

I used these guys for the first time for a very important meeting at work. The President and CEO of the company attended. We had the fajita bar. Everything was so yummy and fresh. They were on time. Their servers were very helpful & friendly. People went back for seconds AND thirds! I have recommended them company wide. If you are looking for a caterer that impresses, go with these guys!
