Took a long time for them to come pick us up and we were only 4 minutes away and dropped us off within 5 miles and cost $ 140. Terrible service and will never use again!

Ali is a really, really nice guy, he actually had to help my jump start my car when it would not start while stuck in my garage. He has this really big flatbed tow truck which Ali maneuvers like a Porsche.

Ali was really patient while we adjusted his truck on my very pretty steep sloped driveway so his extra-​long jump cables could do the trick. Ali was kind enough to remind me «life and jump starting the car would be a lot easier if I backed into the garage instead of pulling in»…or I could get a new battery and not worry about the problem. In between we talked about college, our kids, and San Pedro. Ali knows and loves San Pedro, and this works its way into his prideful demeanor

I dropped my son Ian at College a few weeks ago, and Ian gave me back his Mazda CX-​7, and asked me to look after it. I promised I would. So now I have two cars. No sooner did I get home and I noticed Ian right front tire got nailed… literally; a huge spike was on the side. I don’t know how I even made it home. I called A & Z towing. Ali answered the phone, remembered me, and was on his way. Originally, I decided to have Ali take the tire off and I would take it to the garage and then have him put it back on. Ali said «Jon, just tow the car to where you want it fixed and then drive it home. Why pay for two service calls.» As my friends know «don’t give Jon any type of tool he will find a way to hurt himself or others, or, at the very least, aggravate or worsen the problem at hand.» I am «challenged.»
I did as Ali said. We pulled the car onto the flatbed tow truck and then went to Ray Deeter’s Tire Center in San Pedro.
I get all my tires, alignments, and brakes at Ray Deeter’s. Sure enough we dropped off the Mazda, and before I finished with the paperwork my tire was repaired and I drove home. Upon arrival I realized I had no keys, I had left them in Ali’s tow truck. I could not get in my house, I was really panicking. I called Ali, he answered and told me he would bring my keys to me. Now that is cool. I feel like I have a friend and emergency vehicle assist all in one.
Program his number in your phone like I do. It is a great idea if you have a problem not urgent, you can call Ali and let him know a specific time and he can adjust his schedule. On the ride to Ray Deeter’s Tire Center Ali offered me some water and some trail mix he had in a coffee can. I declined on the water but took him up on the trail mix. I did not check it out carefully when I threw it in my mouth, it was unshelled sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds, and unshelled peanuts. I chewed the pulp from my home to Ray Deeter’s tires and when Ali was not looking tossed it out the window.
Ali reminded me of a very important lesson…“Look before you Eat!” All kidding aside, Ali would have shared his lunch if I was in his truck long enough… he is that type of guy.

Ali was a very nice guy! He was quick to arrive, and gave a great price on a local tow.
