Chase Bank

Great customer service everyone is so polite and helpful here. Very professional. I lost my debit card one night, checked my account the next morning, called and cancelled but I didn’t know my card number so I went as quick as I could to cancel it directly with them and luis helped me out filed a claim, he was so helpful and I left very content

It’s no wonder that Israel A. is employee of the month…
Backstory:
I’m not a customer of Chase bank, but I needed to make a payment on a friend’s credit card and we had found out that I don’t have to do it over the phone through credit card services, I can make it in a Chase Bank branch. That certainly makes life easier, instead of «press 1 for english, 2 if you want to change your address, 3 if you want the payment address, 4 if you want to report your card lost or stolen, 5 if you want to update your information, 6 if you’re ready to hang yourself because of all these prompts!!»
Anyway, upon walking in, I was surprised at how big that bank was. It certainly did not look that big from the outside. There was one teller and one person in line in front of me. As the teller was helping that customer, I turned around and saw the greeter standing close to the line entrance. I asked him if I’m able to make a payment on my friends credit card and he said absolutely and that he would go on and take care of that for me. He went around to the teller window, logged into the computer and proceeded to help me make the payment. He told me that they are no longer taking cash payments on a credit card, unless it’s your own account, but that I could use my debit or credit cards, or write a check. I told him that you would think that cash would be acceptable, but he explained that the government made changes to how they can accept a payment, as a way to keep track of illegal funds. So basically, there needs to be a way to track the individual. I understood what he meant. Between terrorism and white collar crimes, banking rules have certainly become more strict.
Israel, as I came to find out, was more than helpful. He used my bank card and explained that the way that he took the funds out of my account, the fee should be no more than it would be to use the ATM. He was beyond helpful and I really appreciated his explanation of things, rather than how other bankers feel that they don’t owe you an explanation or don’t know the information themselves. He graciously ensured that all of my questions were answered and on my way out, I saw that they had his picture and name on the entrance table, stating that he was employee of the month! No wonder! Fantastic customer service!

GREED… Only one teller with 20 people on line… Thats BS… I never come insuder, but when I need to I don’t want to wait a friken hour for help… I’m real close to closing out this account. I’m sure they wouldn’t even care.

I went in early-​ish on a Tuesday morning to make a deposit and was disheartened by the long line. That being said, I did see some automated tellers and a bank employee helping people with them. I availed myself of one and felt pretty self-​satisfied to circumvent the long line. I suspect they still need to work on striking the right balance here but I also think some customers may be reluctant to change with the times and I’m not sure we can blame the bank for that.

Manager doesn’t care about customers!
He just stands around smiling talking to whoever is in line, giving excuses about why they don’t have enough tellers .
The wait is ridiculous here !!! Considering is the end of the month, they only have one teller, people are lined up to the door entrance.
There’s about 5 people out on the floor (chase associates) doing nothing, just greeting people saying hi as they enter .
Time to change bank !!!
