Huntington Beach, CA
Showed up an hour and a half late with no call. I called and they said «he’s running behind and will be there in 45 minutes.» An hour later he finally shows up. Looks at the lock and says its a «special» lock and will be $ 795 to replace. Never heard of a front door lock costing almost $ 800. We said we weren’t interested in putting an $ 800 lock on and unfortunately he said that was our only option. We were then charged for a $ 65 service call, after arriving over an hour late, and spending 5 minutes looking at the lock and offering one very expensive option. Worst service I’ve ever encountered.

Locked out my self and call. Cris came in 15min and he unlock one so fast. He was so nice and friendly and professional. It’s first time to call locksmith, so I don’t know average price but I felt $ 75 for one key is a little bit pricy…

I had my lock worked on earlier in the day by a different locksmith. I left the house. When I came back in the evening, I couldn’t get in the door. After several unsuccessful attempts to contact the original locksmith to rectify the problem, I called Laris Locksmith. They answered the phone right away. They took my phone number to contact me right before they arrived so I didn’t have to sit in the dark on a Saturday night waiting. Eddy arrived, identified the problem and fixed it. He took the lock apart and fixed a part of the lock that has not worked right since I moved in 10 years ago. I have had an occasional problem over the years and have had several locksmiths. None of them identified and fixed the problem. It’s a pleasure working with a professional that responds quickly, identifies the problem immediately, and fixes it. I declare myself a new loyal customer. Thank You Eddie!

I went to laris lock and key on a Saturday the main reason I went was because they were open and close by. I had 3 deadbolts and three handles re-​keyed all to the same key. None of them were properly re-​keyed. I had to return three more times to get it so that they all work properly. I couldn’t possibly recommend anyone call this place for any reason.

I highly recommend these guys. I called the locksmith to have them change the locks on my new house’s doors and garage. They came at a time that was convenient for me. Chris, the guy who came out to my house, was courteous and clear about prices and quick in finishing the job. That same night, the previous owner came to my house and called his own locksmith to open my garage (illegal, btw) to take something he’d left behind. I called the locksmith again to come out. Chris came back and rekeyed the garage again, this time for FREE!!! He said he spoke with his boss and the company didn’t want to add to our stress with the move going on. I am grateful for this company’s understanding in a stressful time.

Needed the lock on my garage door changed before heading out of town. So, I did a quick Unilocal search and found this place. Gave them a call and the gentleman over the phone said that he had a 5pm slot available. I let him know that I had a flight at that time and needed someone sooner. He was super accommodating and responded with, «No problem!» Said he’d have someone to my house in 20 minutes.
Eddie showed up to my house even faster than the estimated time. He was professional, polite, worked quickly, and the quality of his work was fantastic!

We’ve got a press button lock on our office door and one day it quit working. We called our usual locksmith to come fix it. He gave us the run around and said he would be back. He didn’t come back for weeks so when I followed up with him again, of course, I got more run around. Said the new lock we bought was vroken and we needed to get ANOTHER new lock. I was tired of it so I looked for a new locksmith.
We found LARIS LOCK AND KEY SERVICE and called them up. They came quickly and within minutes Chris assured us he’d have it working in no time. Chris was fast and friendly. He did an awesome job and was super knowledgeable. I’ll definitely be giving Chris a call with all of my locksmith needs!

These guys rock. Somehow managed to lose the key to my RV. Called them on Saturday and asked them to meet me at the RV storage to make a new key. They called me back when they finished their previous job, showed up exactly when they said they would, made 2 keys in about 15 minutes, and went away again leaving behind one very relieved and happy customer. I got locked out of my house in Palos Verdes this Saturday at around 9:30 pm. I called Chris and within 15 minutes, he showed up (driving from Torrance). He got us into the house in no more than 3 minutes. It’s nice that Laris Lock & Key is so dependable, as I’m sure Chris could have been doing something more fun on a Saturday night instead of unlocking my door.
Chris was super friendly and professional; he even gave us a discounted price since we tried to print out their «$ 30 for $ 45» special on Unilocal,but our printer wasn’t working. Great price great service. Programmed and cut my Toyota smart key for $ 65. This would have cost me $ 300 at the dealer. Actually came to the house at no extra charge for my convenience. Chris did a great job.
