History

Established in 2008.

One day in grad school, it hit me. Art is for the body! People should wear art, not just admire it. So I began with wearable sculpture, branched into wedding gowns, and then launched my headwear line.

2012 saw the addition of LAYGS, hand-​painted leggings using Simply Spray fabric paints. I’m super excited to be focusing on LAYGS this year and partnering with other creative vendors!

LAYGS by Morgan Culture: Leggings. But cooler.

The newest line from artist, teacher, and designer Morgan Culture, LAYGS is leggings. These leggings are all hand-​painted — by Morgan– in the USA. No two pairs are exactly alike, so you will be the only one with your particular LAYGS work of art. So order frequently !

Morgan uses Simply Spray fabric paint and offers tutorials all over the place, including on her blog, if you’d like to make some cool items to match your LAYGS.

I’m originally from Chicago, have a few art degrees, and now live and work in Los Angeles CA.
