The Salvation Army Sage House

I do not know what I would do without Sage House. This Salvation Army facility has provided a safe and caring environment for my wife who is diagnosed with Alzheimer’s.
The staff is professional, courteous, and most of all sweet and kind to my wife. The place is a blessing! You need to visit! Joe S.

Last year I was in need. They couldn’t provide for it but they did help me and my daughter in other ways. «Caption» was really sweet and she blessed me with a bible and she wrote in a very special message to me and gave me a «Love Gift» since it was in the holiday season. I loved what I saw when I came in. They are awesome with the elderly. Looks like they have a great program. Sometimes it takes a little bit for them to return your call but they will. THIS PLACE IS AWESOME!!! A great safe and well trained staff is ready to assist your loved one, helping the family get REST!!! Absolutely recommend for any caregiving families! This facility is PERFECT and hope it remains this way for many years to come!

I have no idea why there aren’t more reviews here! My guess is that the reviews would have to be written by spouses and family members of attendees and we are all a little overwhelmed :)
This daycare was recommended to me by an Alzheimer’s support group (Always Best Care – check them out too as they provide resources and living facilities/​assistance. I could not be happier with Sage House. Mahogany is so caring and runs a beautiful program. Some days my dad takes ACCESS (senior cab) to Sage House and they always go outside to meet him and take him outside at the end of the day to wait for his cab. Sage House provides lunch and snacks and my dad always comes home with remnants of the day (a pic of him playing with dogs that came to visit, his score card from trivia, brain training exercises, etc.). My dad started going here months ago when his dementia was considered higher functioning and now he is much lower. Sage House has been appropriate throughout.
They typically have space and offer resources for financial aid. It’s about $ 56 a day (as of Jan 2014) and they offer freebie days pretty often!
Sage House has offered so much piece of mind for my family through this very difficult transition into the world of aging care. We love Sage House!

the best spot in the south bay for adult day care that specializes in memory impairment (dementia/​alzheimer).
the excellent staff, mahogany, stephanie, marcella, naomi, gwen and francisco are warm, compassionate and caring. they have a true love for their jobs! the hot lunch and great activities are a plus. so blessed that we found sage house!
