Acacia Salon & Day Spa

Today I went to Acacia and had a massage and a facial and it was an amazing and relaxing experience! Now how can anything be amazing and relaxing at the same time?! WELL, IT WAS FOR SURE! I had a massage there about 2 months ago which I loved and that is why I went back but it was amazing to me that every Acacia specialist remembered me and how I liked my massage and my hair done too. I will be back from now on even when I am needing a «walker».

Went in on Saturday to have the Body Scrub which was amazing. Everyone should do this once in their life. Then a facial and then wash and blow dry hair. A wonderful way to celebrate my birthday. Thank you ladies for all you do.

Be very careful with this place! They are on a constant mission to up sell their clients. They were really friendly with me when I continued to buy spa treatment packages from them but totally changed their attitude when I opted out. They also lied to me about the cost of a treatment in order to get a bigger tip from me so I’m forfeiting my last treatment just to avoid being treated terribly and lied to. Be aware!

My cousin and I received Groupons for this spa for 50-​minute facials and massages. For the most part, our experience was great — very friendly people that provided high quality service. My only complaint is the facial woman asked if I wanted my brows waxed, but didn’t mention that it would cost extra. The way she asked made it sound like it was included. I know I should have asked, but in my experience with customer service, you want to be transparent with your customer, especially if you’re expecting a tip. So I didn’t appreciate being surprised at the end to fork over $ 20 more, especially since I noticed hairs growing after only two days (she had ironically criticized threading — the normal way I get my brows done — because the hairs grow back too quickly. But this wax job was dismal compared to my usual threading, which costs $ 8 less). In short, it was a great gift. But even if I ever earn enough money to casually drop $ 250 (the package value) in a spa, I doubt I would spend it here.

This is where i’ve been getting my hair cut for years! Tua knows my hair and how i need it to be cut (a layered bob, basically) and so the visit is easy and relaxing, with no stress. Plus, it’s much less expensive than most salons around here… which makes me very happy.
I got my eyebrows shaped there, for the first time last month, and this was great too. Super-​fast, super-​inexpensive, and actually relaxing.

They do everything! You name it: Chocolate wraps, massages, facials, waxing etc etc etc. Hella clean and go out of their way to make you feel at home.
I used to work here as a receptionist. I can honestly say that the women who work here are the nicest people I have ever met. Well after I stopped working for them I still visited them as a client. I would still be a client if I lived in the area.
