Acco Electric

Nate was amazing! We’ve had ongoing problems with Comcast for months, 8 tech visits, and the last time, they told us we had a «grounding issue» which was causing «feedback». So we called Acco Electric. Nate came out and checked, our grounding is fine, and he found the problem (Comcast screw-​up, of course) within fifteen minutes! He showed it to me so I can go back to Comcast and get them to fix it, is doing an «official» e-​mail, with diagrams, to show Comcast, and didn’t charge us a penny! His card is on our wall, and we will go straight to Acco, and only Acco, for any electrical problems we have in future. Thank you so much, Nate and Acco!

Nate and his guys are the best electricians in the Bay Area, hands down! Incredibly professional, efficient, and good-​natured, they provide high quality excellent service all around. We have worked with them numerous times and have never once been disappointed. They are our go-​to electricians!

We’ve used Nate and his crew for several jobs, including recess lighting and sound system installation. On the latter, he has been very accessible when we have problems figuring out how to work our new music system. Nate is very responsive when we call, professional in his interactions, thorough in his work and reasonable in his pricing. I wholeheartedly recommend him!

I have ACCO Electric out to my house on a numerous occasions and each time they are very professional, friendly, and their quality of work is exceptional. Dealing with the owner Nate is nothing but a pleasure and had his guys at my house when he said they would be there. Nate and his crew worked on our remodel and did a fantastic job. He was not the cheapest but like most things you get what you pay for. His guys (Mike, Jeff and Ben) are super friendly and know their stuff.

I had Acco Electric out twice to do some work on my home in San Anselmo. Like other electricians, they know how to troubleshoot, diagnose, and fix problems and they did this quickly and efficiently on both calls. My advice for other customers is that they ask for an invoice and initial the sign-​in and sign-​out times, because of problems I had with billing. The first call was fine — it took them ten minutes to diagnose and fix the problem and we received a bill for the minimum amount of time for a house call, which is one hour. The second call took less than one hour, but we received a bill for three hours of work. I emailed Nate, the owner, about the issue and he begrudgingly lowered my bill. I guess I got a fair deal in the end, but it took more effort than I would have liked.

We had Acco over to do some rewiring. They were super nice, incredibly reasonable and very professional. When they got here, we realized that we needed a plug put in for our hot tub. They were happy to accomodate us.
My husband, being interested in learning about basic wiring, asked if he could hang out and watch them work. Not only was he allowed to watch, the guy who was doing the repairs (Dan, maybe?) explained what he was doing step-​by-​step. What a guy!
We will certainly not hesitate to contact Acco again. Highly recommended!

We needed an electrician to help with a whole-​house remodel, and we had a couple of guys come over before finding Nate on here. The other guys wanted a ton of money and made it sound like the whole thing would be very difficult. Nate took a look and said it would not be that complicated, and his quote was much better. His crew of guys did a great job and were courteous and easy to deal with, and Nate’s follow-​up was very good as well. We definitely recommend them.

We have a downstairs living room with exposed ceiling and desperately needed some light in the room. We hired Nate for the job and couldn’t be happier. He installed some track lighting throughout the room on the exposed beams and did a masterful job of blending it in to the room so as not to stick out.
His crew was EXTREMELY courteous and professional and when they were done, you wouldn’t have even know they were there… except for the brilliantly lighted room they left behind.
I won’t hesitate to use Nate again and will recommend him to anyone I know that needs an electrician.

i needed an electrician starting saturday morning. using the marin county yellow pages (remember yellow pages?) i called SIX electricians, 4 of which had bold-​faced 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. No answer at any of them. For each, I had to leave answering machine messages. As i write this, its 10:15 Monday and NOT ONE has returned my call.
I should have used Unilocal from the get-​go. Because at the top of the list is ACCO ELECTRIC. I called this morning and within 1 ring, Nate picks up. Within 30 more minutes, his a truck with his guys arrives. Within 5 minutes, they’re on a ladder and working the job. Within 15 minutes, the job is done and we’re shaking hands.
On that experience alone, 5-​STAR. However, if there were seperate rating categories for customer relations, another 5-​STAR. When Nate first picked up, he was in a coffee shop and it was like an old friend talking to me rather then a stranger electrician. His 2 guys (Mike & Jeff) were immediately conversational, both about the job as well as just things. Maybe some people dont want to chat with the service industry when they make house calls. But i prefer it to the silent (and therefore grumpy) technician doing me a favor.
My needs were limited to a simple wiring issue with my landlords ancient house. But from the looks of their gear and interest in the existing electrical state of the house, they could have done it all.
In terms of residential repairs in Marin County, i simply insist recommending ACCO ELECTRIC.

It was so refreshing to meet Nate Accomazzo and his team of electricians and have somone come into my house and actually fix something! Not only did Nate fix the problems that I knew I already had, he pointed out many other things that the 2 previous electricians had botched. It is amazing how Marin County has so much wealth and so many beautiful houses but so many incompetent service companies. I was shocked when Nate showed me the dangerous electrical mess underneath my house and I am very grateful that he took the time to check it out before my son or I were electrocuted.
Nate did a fabulous job and he did it with a smile. He was extremely friendly and he made some fabulous suggestions while taking the time to explain everything to me. I was also very comfortable having him and his crew in my house. THANK YOU NATE!
