Curves

I’ve read the other reviews from the local Curves and I wish I had had that kind of experience. I am not going to mention names or anything as they were certainly pleasant enough, but here’s the deal. I wasn’t sure how to get started with them so i responded to one of their online promotions for a free week. I received a call from them within an hour (no complaint about that!) and we setup an appointment.
One thing that bothered me right away was that when the person called me, I was referred to as a «Lead»…
When I arrived for my appointment, i sat down with the lady and the first thing she did was start with the prices and the options… nothing about the workout or the philosophy or anything. Honestly between that and being referred to as a «lead», I just felt like a walking wallet. I politely said this wouldn’t work. I did provide this same feedback to the lady I talked to, but I was really pretty turned off and I couldn’t wait to get out of there.
I went to another place I had been eying nearby where I was greeted by a friendly person who was clearly passionate about the work he does and about the workout itself. I didn’t feel like a «wallet» there, so I pulled out my card and signed up.
Sorry to do this, but I am hoping this feedback might help them improve. Best of luck.
