Extreme Pizza – San Rafael

Delicious pizza, but the person who took my order got it completely wrong. It’s ok because it ended up being free!
Will be back again.

BAD DELIVERY MID DAY
I got delivery 2 small pizzas. Pizza was overall on the low quality side, yet theres was a good menu to choose from. The Delivery estimate they sent me was 45mins it took over 1 hour and 15 minutes?!? And payed way to much for what I got.
+on the plus side, the ranch dressing was amazing, supper creamy!

Cheap nummy food, with great portion size for the price. It also feels hella safe. Every time I come here, even on dates, the atmosphere is just absolutely wonderful. I also really love that they have these crazy artsy numbers for orders.

Best pizza ever. So delicious. My toppings were chicken, artichoke and mozzarella with Alfredo sauce.

I went for the first time on Thursday, April 5. The Warriors were on and they kindly turned the sound on upon request. The employees were very friendly and attentive. The pizza was great! We had the Railroad Grade. Good sauce, crust, and everything. Most places I’ve found skimp on sauce and cheese – not these guys! I would’ve given a 5, but the Caesar salad was just blah.

It’s not always this fast but I am almost always happy with what comes in the pizza box.

Ordered a pizza from this extreme pizza in San Rafael that’s the last time I make that mistake last night I wanted a good pizza for the 60 $ ufc 196 Fight no one could finish there first slice, I mean it was very awful I called today to get some sort of compensation for the disgusting meal and was totally turned down to anyone that wants a good pizza this is not the place awful customer service pizza was on par with 5^th grade cafeteria

I just ordered with them online a few days ago. The bill totaled $ 27, but when the delivery boy came (he was very professional and nice), the total had changed to almost $ 29. No explanation. In addition, I paid for bleu cheese dressing and it was not included. Not too much of a big deal. But I followed up with an email just as a heads up and it was ignored. Bad form.

Welp… I wouldn’t recommend ordering online. Although I was able to successfully PLACE and order online, I never received it. I called the restaurant after waiting an hour and a half only to be told that they deliver to San Anselmo, but not to Fairfax (I live 4 blocks over the city line in Fairfax, for what it’s worth). Great… so now it’s 8:30 and I’m without dinner options.
It would have been nice to receive a phone call letting me know that they wouldn’t be able to fulfill my order. Or better yet, if their online ordering system was set up to prevent orders outside of their arbitrary delivery range from being processed.
In Sum: Call, confirm that they’ll deliver to your address, and AVOID AVOID AVOID ordering online. Corporate should reconsider their arbitrary delivery boundaries.

You should support Extreme Pizza in San Rafael because they are so generous to the local community. My company was running a standup paddleboard event with a SF-​based at-​risk youth non-​profit. We reached out seeing if Extreme could help and they gave us a very generous discount to make sure the kids were well fed with their awesome pizza! They even delivered to the beach at China Camp State Park, which made it super easy. Jeff and Charlie are the coolest!

I’m very sorry I wasted $ 20 on an over-​proofed pizza that took way too long to be delivered. VERY DISAPPOINTED.

Unfortunately there isn’t a no star option but they need to get their act together by saying that I mean the manager has to, the cashiers are simply good at what they do but the manager Brian, I’ve been there two times and I have really seen that he goes out every 5 minutes and takes a long time and he does nothing and extreme you need to find a better manager or else you’ll lose clientele I find how ridiculous they’ll give anyone a job

I have to agree with J.C.regarding the pizza. It tastes like cardboard, Extremely good for cardboard, but cardboard nevertheless. The young staff never seems to be the same but they are all generally good natured and put up with folks who stay and hog a table for a whole sporting event. Kids enjoy the little arcade and there is draught beer so I look at it as a beer bar with pizza and when you need a break the kids can usually stay occupied. In order to get a few more stars they better work on their pizza.

We are traveling, and not familiar with Extreme Pizza chain. But our hotel had delivery menus.
The phone order was polite and efficient. The delivery arrived at promised time, and kids like their pizzas. Price is reasonable. Next time, we want to remember to use discount coupon.

Dreadful. My boyfriend ordered a pepperoni & sausage pizza & some bread twists with chocolate dipping sauce They are called «pow pow’s». He also got spicy chicken wings. But in fact he was given boneless buffalo wings. He called them horrible. He had it delivered from Extreme, which is just a few blocks from us. The bill was with tip $ 50. When I got home & saw his pizza & bread twists on the counter in the kitchen, I knew something was wrong. Pizza, nearly untouched? I toasted a piece to be sure. The crust was the same strange microwaved chewy crap they always dish out. It has the flavor of a subway bun microwaved to extinction & the cheese was bland. The crust is a disgrace. The bread sticks with dipping sauce? How could this be good thing when their crust is inedible? Get your act together Extreme. Change your crust. Here’s an idea. Make fresh pizza dough everyday. Use real Flour. Not some strange packet mix. How could this dough be so dry & flavorless. Hard to chew. Impossible to digest. Nothing makes me more angry than bad pizza. Be ashamed.

I love this place. My son loves it. They have toys for the kids. The food is delicious and healthy. Great prices. Go here all the time. Worth it for a family!!!

Quick delivery and very friendly service. Wings were delicious, the ranch was on point. Pizza was delicious too. Will definitely order from them again.

My boss and I was craving some pizza on a Sunday for lunch. Both my boss and I have eaten at the Petaluma and Novato location and pizza was good. So we decided let go big on our cheat day, we ordered a regular 18″ Everest. When the driver arrived I told him hey I have 2dollers over the exact amount in cash but no extra tip you can charge my card instead if you like. Driver said no worries your office always orders, next time and takes the cash. When I walked upstairs with the pizza I notice it was not burning hot in my hand which had me worried. Got into the office and the boss was waiting with plates. When we open the box, we both looked at each other and asked did we order a thin crust cheese pizza? Where’s the meat? A little upset I called down to the location and explained the whole meat situation and the thin crust. Josh explained that he personally boxed and cut the pizza himself and there is tons of meat on there just peel back the chesse on top and you will see the meat and that thin crust is how we make it. Before I could even respond he say that how it is made, so there nothing I could do for u and he hangs up.
I tell my boss and he goes I not wasting my cheat meal on that shit and he walks away upset. So I decide I will try to call and speak to a supervisor. I call them back and Josh answered, I politely ask may i speak to a manager and Josh replies in a rude tone you got him what do you want? I explained to him my boss situation and he replies «aww I actually feel bad but your just out of luck your not getting anything. By the way I gave you something you shorted my driver and I let that slide» I asked what do you mean I shorted your driver I gave him 2 dollars over exact amount and he decline to take payment on card, and what does this have to do about the pizza being not right. At this point more upset I didn’t get the pizza I wanted, wasted a cheat meal on 2 slices of cold crunchy thin crust pizza, not sure if my boss going to give me hell the next day, I got stuck paying the bill and I got this D bag manager talking to me like an assholes for no reason trying to accuse me of trying to get over on him.
Look the Novato location messed up my order really bad once, but the owned up to it and where super polite. All I ask for is give me what I ordered and there won’t be a problem. But extreme pizza want to hire D bags who has no customer service skills, impolite, rude and probably has a little man complex. Tsk tsk tsk

extreme pizza has some great formulas. high quality ingredients on a well crafted thin crust. My default order:
½ yard sale — the «everything» pizza
½ raging rooster — tangy bbq chicken w/​red onions
you get good bang for your buck here. sometimes the quality can be a little inconsistent, but when they’re on, they can really hit the spot.

I used to rave this pizza. Now though I love the ingredients I am a little disappointed in service. Pizza was a little late (driver apologized saying they had to make a second one for some reason), barely warm, and one topping large is almost $ 30 with a 16 oz. bottle of Pepsi. Plus a tip on top of that. I could have gone out for a sit down for less.

1. We order «take out» regularly as a local San Rafael business.
2. We appreciate their quick preparation of our meals — b/​c they are always pre-​ordered by phone.
3. For everything negative you have to say — the kharma world requires 10 positive things in it’s place.
4. Bad service is sometimes the result of bad customers. Check yourself prior to knocking a business.
5. Treat others like you would want to be treated — ONLY BETTER.

I must say I am not a HUGE fan of pizza
But as one of the employees helped me in deciding what to order i knew I made a good choice! Try the Spicy Thai chicken it is to die for! Great quality definitely fresh!

Was looking for a quick bite to eat after spending time in the city. This was one of the first places that popped up when I googled pizza by the slice.
Found it on the corner and since it was the new year, it was pretty busy. However, when my bf ordered for a slice, he didn’t know that you actually get 2 for 1. Pretty cool!

Typical and crazy unusual. Truly something for everyone. Not trying to be anything but themselves. Pleasant atmosphere on corner to warch the world go by. Meatball sandwich awesome. swet thai sauce on unusual boneless wings. coating delciously different.

UPDATE: After emailing the corporate office, I immediately heard from the owner of the SR location. He was most apologetic, credited us back (which the manager promised to do and never did) and promised to work on training his staff. He also apologized for our experience. So maybe others will see a change.
Awful, awful, awful.
Do not EVER order through delivery. It took us over 2 hours to get our order (delivery guy was given wrong address by them), pizza was cold and cardboard like. We called to complain and counter girl was rude and manager could not have cared less. They still charged us for the order despite saying that they would reverse the charge. You know, if they just said they were sorry and would fix it (good customer service tip here!) it would have gone a long way.

This place makes me sad because there’s an obvious power struggle of some kind going on. Some days I go in, get excellent service and bomb-​ass pizza. Other days, the service is awful, the pizza is shit, and I end up vomiting all night.
And no matter what, if you get gluten free, they ALWAYS burn the crust. ALWAYS. It’s a bummer.
If you like adventures in luck and hit-​or-​miss situations, this place is for you.

I put the «ex» in Extreme Pizza. Ex-​customer.
Five employees up front. One of them is working his ass off, taking orders and rotating pizzas and slices in the oven. The other four are standing around getting their bro on like it’s going out of style (which it is), chatting it up, scoping out chicks and watching their colleague bust ass and do three jobs at once as if some sense of pizzeria schadenfreude has overtaken them entirely.
It takes roughly 15 –20 minutes for me to get two simple slices of pizza from stressed-​out-​overworked-​guy. Meanwhile, the other four guys churned out seventy yeah-​dudes, forty-​one for-​sure-​bros, and twenty-​eight that’s-what’s-ups.
Then I read all the reviews on here and I understand why pizza-​making apparently happens in geological time at Extreme Pizza.
Extreme Pizza management, if you’re listening, your employees should be paying you for using your kitchen as their daytime bro-​pad. Either assign a few more to slice detail or fire them.
