Anthony of Hands in Harmony is fantastic and I don’t hesitate to highly recommend him. His friendly demeanor and positive energy will make you feel better before he even touches you. He provides a safe, clean and quite environment. And then the best part, he is excellent at reading your body and releasing problem areas while adjusting his pressure and technique to make sure you feel relaxed and rejuvenated. My husband and I both are grateful clients!

I recently sustained a very unusual «injury» to my foot. After having it evaluated at Kaiser the Physician said «I have never seen anything like this, there is no fracture but the bones in 2 of your toes are severely displaced, and you will need to be evaluated in Podiatry.»
This was an extremely painful condition, and the thought of waiting 2 more weeks to be seen was daunting.
I made an appt with Anthony, and right away he said he thought is was a soft tissue issue and Myofascia was so tight that it was pulling my toes to the side.
After 3 sessions, my foot is beginning to release and return to normal, all before I could even get into the Specialist office at Kaiser. Anthony is VERY knowledgeable and skilled at helping the body to repair and recover from a stressful life.

Wow! Just wow! I’m a soon-​to-​be-​41-​year-​old female who is very athletic and love to workout. Lately I’ve been feeling the wear and tear of this impactful treatment of my body, and while giving up my love of fitness is really not an option, I was desperate to find a «healer» who could work their crafty magic on me and allow my body to function at its best. I tried rolfing (which was okay, but I wasn’t feeling as though I could do it regularly because it made me feel anxious, not relaxed), chiropractic work (which for me made it more crinky dink and intensified my hip pain), and now true massage THERAPY. I only have a small handful of massages in my past, but none of them ever convinced me that it was any more than just a way to relax and unwind once in a while as a treat. Anthony changed my view on that completely.
I cannot believe that after only one session my hip has less pain. I’ve been living with this discomfort long enough that I’d developed a new way to walk to avoid the tweaks I’d feel. And now, I find I’m retraining myself to be unafraid to walk normally because guess what, I don’t feel that same level of discomfort. I can only imagine how regular sessions will leave my body. So thrilled to have found him and the truth of incredible massage therapy for myself. If you are anywhere in the Bay Area, and looking for a massage therapist that will change your life, he’s worth the drive. Believe me! I can’t speak highly enough of Anthony.

I LOVE THIS GUY. I can actually say that I have experienced a lot of good bodywork, and Anthony still blows them out of the water. He is passionate about what he does but has a very lighthearted attitude about it. I have never had someone WORK on the trouble spots like him. It is very obvious that he understands the body/​musculature incredibly well and dials it in immediately, doing exactly what needs to be done as opposed to just «tenderizing» the areas, as I feel is often done. Even though he was direct in his approach (it was just a 30-​minute session so he kind of had to be), he didn’t dig in too fast or negligently — he knows what he’s doing.
And honestly, I got some really good laughter therapy out of it, too! While he is very professional and can leave you in peace if you like, he is also very authentic, personable and fun to talk to, with a great sense of humor. I normally do NOT like talking a lot during massages, but I couldn’t help it, his friendliness (and hilariousness, at least to me) made me laugh and I loved it. I felt rejuvenated physically and emotionally when I walked out of that room. I am grateful!
He is now most definitely my favorite massage therapist ever and I will be recommending him to anyone and everyone who even mutters the word «massage» within audible range.
Do yourself a favor, seriously. Get a massage from Anthony!

Anthony is gifted in his practice and is the best massage therapist I have ever known. His knowledge of anatomy is impressive and he has successfully treated my areas of chronic spasm and pain (no other therapist has been able to do this for me). I enjoy that he uses a variety of massage techniques in his process. I highly recommend this talented, intelligent and kind therapist.

Anthony is an absolute miracle worker. I have had 2 major back surgeries, have gone to massage therapists, chiropractors, acupuncturists… you name it, I have tried it. Then I found Anthony. Through intensive deep tissue massaging he has not only alleviated my chronic back pain but is now working on «straightening out» my body.
Anthony is not only amazing at what he does, he is also friendly, funny and loves to educate you on what he is doing and why. He puts you at ease immediately and really cares about what he is doing.
I cannot recommend him enough — I will never go anywhere else again!

GOLD MINE — if you want the best hot stone massage ever, you have to go here ! Someone gave me a gift certificate for a 90 minute hot stone massage and all I could think of when I left was «why didn’t I know about this place sooner?»
Anthony uses hot rocks and warm towels to relieve tense muscles in your back and shoulders. He is very detailed oriented and very scientific when it comes to relieving specific problem areas, especially in the neck area.
I also injured my knee from a slippery floor in a Zumba class and went to Anthony to see if he could help. He was able to loosen up the muscles around my sore knee and I walked out of there feeling great.
This place is great and you should definitely try the 90 minute hot stone massage; you will keep going back because it is fantastic !!

I was lost when I heard he left the place in Novato. I have tried a lot of massage therapists over the years and Anthony is hands down the best in Northern California. He really cares about his clients and just wants to take care of you. Very professional and affordable — I always get 90 minutes which is $ 90 I think. For me it is part of my «health assurance» program. You feel like a new person when you walk out of there. Highly recommend !!!

I found him! Its anthony from «al karaama» massage in Novato. First of all I have to say anthony is great at what he does. He has an amazing ability to find the spots that need the most attention and additionally work the area in an important way with ease. I feel he knows exactly how to manipulate the key areas to work out those spots. I will definitly be going back, I cant wait for my next appointment! Also at $ 55 an hour, you cant beat it!
