Owner Jerry Thompson has more than three decades of experience in the electrical contracting industry. Co-​Owner and wife, Kari Thompson, has a business degree from UCLA and an extensive financial background. In 1993, Jerry and Kari (Redwood & Tam Grads) merged their unique backgrounds and created Integrity Electric with the goal of providing ‘integrity’ at every level of their organization. With hard work, dedication and a steadfast commitment to quality, Integrity Electric is happily celebrating it’s 23rd year in Marin!

Great people on this team that are very personal and down to earth. They installed a 250lb. Chandelier in our 18ft. High entryway and it came to 1700. A little more expensive than I planned on, and quite a bit more than the experience of others told me is «typical» for an installation of this nature but at the end of the day when you are installing something like this at that height in an earthquake zone I am not trying to be cheap. Giving 4 stars because of the high cost.

. Our home was built in 1945 in Sun Valley, we needed some major work on our attic electric wiring was way out of date and not safe.
We called Integrity Electric for a free Estimate and we were so happy that we did. This was a 3 ½ day job and the finished work is amazing real good work.
The TEAM that worked on our home was very efficient and worked so well together «we are happy campers» with our new attic wiring and feel so much safer for sure.

I am super pleased with my experience working with Integrity Electric. The lighting in my shop has been working poorly for years and I’d had enough of needing a flashlight to look into some computers. Jerry came down and reviewed the job. He came up with a plan to replace the failing two ballast in each fixture with single lower energy ballast. He provided an estimate and waited to hear back. The estimate was good and we hired them. I am so glad I did. It all went off according to plan. I got a call in advance of the job confirming the appointment and the workmen showed up on time and went about doing the job.
We come to find out the lighting had been wired improperly and we needed a thinker gage wire. The change was requested and approved and the work was completed same day. All of my light now work and no more flashlights. It’s nice to have proper lighting in the shop.

Referral from tesla. Calls the day before to confirm the time, around 9 am. I call the office at 9:30 to find out where they are. They had no intention of being on time. Thanks for wasting my morning.

Read the great reviews on Unilocal and decided to call them. They showed up on time, did the job right. However — this was very, very expensive. The hourly rate is almost double of Electrical union hourly rate of San Francisco ($ 185 per hour vs. $ 85 per hour in SF). The parts are 3x the price at the electric supply store (outdoor GFCI is $ 12 at the store, $ 35 from these guys). Sure, there is a service cost included in the price of an outlet, but don’t you charge me hourly rate in addition to this service cost? Is this the Marin tax everyone is talking about? And, after four digit bill for 3.5 hours of work I still have one switch that is flipped upside down. It’s ‘A-​OK’.

I WAS a customer of Integrity and had numerous positive experiences with them
However, this morning while driving on 101, one of their drivers aggressively cut me off, almost causing an accident. After I honked my horn, I was greeted with the middle finger.
The company name is integrity but their employees obviously haven’t read the handbook! I certainly don’t want people like this in my house and you shouldn’t either.

We had low-​voltage lights out from a wiring issue on our outdoor stairs. Also, after 26 years of use, the heat lamp fixture in the master bath had given out. Integrity was able to fix the wiring problem on the outdoor lights within a short time and recommended getting either replacement sockets or a replacement fixture for the master bath. The electrician took a photo of the part number of the fixture. Then, by looking up the part number and manufacturer name of the original fixture, Dan was able to locate the company who had acquired the original manufacturer of the lamp.
Lo and behold, the new company was selling an updated but essentially identical fixture on Amazon. Two days later I had the fixture and Shaun from Integrity came out and removed the sockets & fan from the fixture and inserted them in the metal housing of the old fixture so we didn’t have to do any sheetrock repair. He then popped on the new lamp fixture cover and voila, brand new heat lamp with a working fan — all in record time.

Finding out exactly what was wrong in the wiring of several interior and exterior lights in my two-​story home, built in 1927 and twice renovated, took adept detective work and smart solutions which the CEO of Integrity Electric, Jerry Thompson, and his associate provided in a prompt and thorough fashion. Plus they wired a new outdoor lighting system that was somewhat complex. They live up to the company name plus their prices are fair. I highly recommend this firm

I called in the morning hoping to set an appointment up in the next few days. Integrity Electric had a supervisor out for an estimate within two hours.
I never expected to get the work done the same day but he was able to have an electrician out in the afternoon and the work complete on the same day.
Very professional and fast plus excellent work. I am totally impressed!
I’ll be using them again for sure!

Made an appointment three weeks in advance for some simple work. Thirty minutes after they were supposed to show up they called and essentially blew it off («maybe in two days»). Very unprofessional — called a competitor and got same day service

On paper, Integrity Electric looks like a very professional company. The reality is a little different. Let me explain: First of all, they forgot some expensive fixtures on their quote; those had to be addressed at the end of the job. Even though, they supposedly gave us their wholesale price, it was still expensive. Second of all, there were change orders that should not have taken place; we contested some of them, and they did take them off (however, it leaves you with a weird feeling if you hadn’t been checking carefully every single of them). Then, there are all the mistakes their employee made; they were all fixed, but the guy had to come back three or four time.
Finally, we had more work and emailed them for a quote. They simply never got back to us.

Integrity quoted a minimum charge $ 185 to come to my house to check a fuse box. By contrast, Strom electric, which also gets great reviews, charged only $ 98! And I got same day service to boot.

Like others, I chose Integrity based on their reviews and I felt they did a great job.
Originally I had spoken with them in 2011 about a major overhaul of my electrics in my house. At the time we were unable to afford it however at that time, following all my due diligence with several electricians, Integrity’s proposal made the most sense to me in terms of what they’d do, what was needed/​not needed, working with me to minimize the inconvenience and proposed a really reasonable cost.
Since then I have had them at my house doing more basic work but again found them to be very thorough and very reasonable and I’m very happy with the results. I will use Integrity for all my electrical work in the future.

I just recently hired them to install an outdoor outlet and lighting to show off a recently purchased water fountain.
The estimator came out exactly on time, gave me a proposal which was very acceptable, and did the work required. I believe his name was Aaron. He was very friendly and professional. While installing the outdoor outlet, he also changed a switch operated outlet so that it was always on and the switch was no longer necessary. Will call on them again for any future electrical jobs.

I’m not an incapable person-​I just can’t do everything. My hands are full; I have an incredibly busy schedule and well… I’m not an electrician.
So I call Integrity Electric to get the job done and get it done right. I’ve been working personally with Integrity and their rockstar staff for over ten years, and my mom worked with them before that.
Not only do they deal with my high maintenance nature (I need it, and I need it done now!) but they always arrive on time (or early) and stay until the job is done. On the rare occasion that we’ve needed to change appointment days or times Sally has always accommodated me as if I am the only person on Earth.
It’s true… I (like many others) do tend to suffer from the egocentric predicament and the world revolves around me. Integrity Electric will be the only electrician company I will ever call and they indulge my black sense of humor. I’ve sent countless clients to them and will continue to support a family owned local business. Keeping the money here does all of us good.
