Business Owner

Isabella was born in the beautiful and historic city of Taranto, in the region of Puglia, Italy. After graduating from the Liceo Scientifico in Taranto, Isabella went on to study Biology at the University of Pisa and English language at the University of Bari. After this she managed several businesses before returning to her love of language and teaching.

With over 15 years of experience teaching and translating, Isabella provides a unique, fun, and multi-​faceted approach to learning Italian.

I have never been able to learn languages very easily. Isabella makes the lessons interesting. She designs the lessons so that I can understand and retain the information. She is very knowledgeable. She inspires her students. I look forward to each lesson. As a Japanese proverb says, «Better than a thousand days of diligent study is one day with a great teacher.»

I have taken Italian a few times before at community colleges and never gone far with it. Until I met this wonderful teacher! Isabella’s one-​on-​one instruction is superior. I finished an entire «school year» of Italian in only a few months. She is patient and an excellent explainer, and she takes the time to send me extra information and worksheets when I am not firmly grounded in a concept. Finally, I am on track to reaching my life dream of speaking Italian, and I owe it all to Isabella.
