Jorges and his team completed all the work as promised and some more to perfection. They were very considerate of the neighbors and left the surrounding area clean and neat. Will definitely use them for all our tree, gardening, and landscaping needs going forward.

I don’t write a lot of reviews on Unilocal but I had to for Jorge and his team were outstanding. He came and gave a quote for a wide variety of tree and brush removal around my house. I was surprised about how much he thought he might be able to get done, and he advised us to just pay for one full day which is what we did. Well, they showed up on time, got right to work, did exactly what we agreed to do and even had time for a bit more. They were friendly, respectful, and highly competent. They used a wood chipper, and before they left, swept up and there is not a sign they were here, except for all the open views and clear pathways.

Jorge arrived on time for the estimate and he and his crew arrived on time for the job. They finished ahead of the estimated time and removed an extra bush/​tree they noticed was nearly dead. This hard working crew was careful and efficient. We had a 60 foot tall Juniper and 6 Grevilia bushes (over 8 feet tall) that they removed and ground the stumps down. They also thinned the dead wood out of 3 large oaks and trimmed them back from the roof line. All of this was chipped and WOW was it a lot of debris. They completed everything in less than 4 hours and the street and driveway were swept clean. I would definitely recommend Jorge for any landscaping job. There is no language barrier. He is an excellent communicator by email, phone, and in person.

Jorge and his crew are par excellence. They are professional, friendly, caring, honest, reasonably priced, knowledgeable and they work harder than any contractor we’ve ever worked with. Jorge will not only do the most amazing job for you; he will teach you things about your trees and landscape that will help you take better care of your property. We had a multi-​facited job — trees with sudden oak death that needed to be both cut and removed from a steep hillside, french broom clearing, soil amendment, and path reconstruction. Jorge and his guys handled everything expertly. We could not be more pleased nor recommend him more highly. Would give 6 stars if we could.

Jorge and his crew did an excellent job at our home. They removed a medium-​size tree that was intertwined with powerlines and a ton of oleanders. They were able to get the roots out and then left a mulch. They have a professional team and no BS approach. We are very pleased with the service and outcome and would highly recommend the Jorge.

I have tried 2 other tree services and Jorge was the best. His price was reasonable and the quality of his work was the best. Unlike some other bigger companies, he himself was on the job. His team arrived on time and finished as promised. From time to time, he would checked with you to make sure that you were happy with the work. I was totally comfortable dealing with Jorge and his skillful and friendly team.

Jorge not only charged less than everybody else but also removed my tree faster than anybody else said they could. He and his team were very profession with the removal by not causing any damage to my property. He also worked with my last minute schedule change which I’m very grateful for.

Jorge and his crew did a fantastic job restoring our bay and Mt Tam views. During the two-​day job, he trimmed back huge eucalyptus, oaks, and pines from a steep hillside. He also windowed out an oak in a way that not only maintained our privacy but also restored our view of the bay. He was a great communicator and was thoughtful about his approach. He promptly returned calls/​texts. He was reliable and showed up timely for the bid and the job. He and his crew also did a good job making sure everything was cleared off of our property at the end of the job. He also has a wealth of knowledge about the trees in our area. Finally, his price for the job was well below what the bigger operations were charging. He was a nice person to work with and several of our neighbors are now having him do work for them as well.

Jorge and his team did an amazing job. Throughout the process, Jorge was super responsive, clear, and friendly. His prices were totally fair, especially given the fact that it was a big job. On the day of the service, he and his team pulled in and got right to work. It was amazing to watch them in action, how professional they were in handling the very challenging task of climbing, cutting, and safely and carefully bringing down huge branches. Always friendly and on point in the process. I will definitely call on Jorge in the future.

Jorge’s service gets 5 stars all around. Very pleasant to work with. His crew is experienced, work fast and leave the place cleaner than when they arrived. Reasonable cost, and while they are busy they can attend to smaller jobs quickly. Our work was done from our roof, but they were prepared to climb the trees if need be. Highly recommended.

We had Jorge and his crew prune several large trees on our property. I liked Jorge from the beginning for his responsiveness to my calls and his professionalism. We got several estimates and went with Jorge because of his expertise and knowledge of our trees. We were not disappointed. Jorge and his crew did a wonderful job pruning and he showed me areas of concern he had with the trees and why pruning a certain way would help the growth of the tree.
His price was very reasonable and we felt like we were in good hands. We would definitely use Jorge’s Tree Service again.

Jorge was great. I needed a tree removed quickly so I could start another project in my yard. I called him, he came out, called me promptly with a very reasonable quote and the tree was removed a couple days later. I just wish I got to meet Jorge and shake his hand to thank him. I have to agree with the other Unilocal reviews for Jorges Tree service. He and his crew did a great job of taking down a large Acacia tree that was between our backyard and my neighbor’s property. He did it in a timely manner, hardly any debris, no damage and was on budget. He was able to accommodate a job that I requested within a week and gave me a fair quote. Jorges and his staff are respectful and super easy to work with with. I would definitely hire him again for future projects and I highly recommend him!

We hired Jorge Calderon based on all of the Unilocal reviews and they couldn’t have been more spot on. His prices were the best of anyone we spoke to. We met to discuss clearing our entire yard, he was very knowledgeable, giving suggestions of plants to keep, what trees should be topped off, and was very realistic on how long it would take to accomplish everything.
He and his crew arrived on time and immediately got to work. The job was done quickly and efficiently. Jorge left my yard cleaner than before. He even cleaned up my neighbors yard from some clippings that fell over her fence. Such a great guy, no BS, just honest and hard working. Would hire him again in a heartbeat for anything to with my yard.
