Oakgrounds is a full-​service business consulting company specializing in Macintosh systems and networks in the greater Bay Area. We are Apple Certified Consultants and members of both the Apple Consultant and Filemaker Technical Networks, capable of assessing IT needs and developing long-​term strategies for your home or business.

We add value by integrating technology into the workflow. We build life data exchanges between Filemaker and SQL databases with a PHP front-​end, allowing customers to interact with the CMS websites while the client continues to maintain the database in FileMaker. History

Established in 2008.

2013 — We release ‘Pearl Bids: Silent Auction Manager’ software to add non-​profits, schools and NGO to raise funds. Use YELP4ME to get $ 5 off.

2011 — We got re-​certified by Apple inc. in 2011 for individual Apple computers and Servers. We work with RAID and custom scripting to provide solid backup strategies for our customers.

2008 — Oakgrounds inc. We got certified by Apple inc. to work on Apple Serves and individual machines and wifi networks.

1998 — We have been working as employees and system administrators for 10 years. In 2008 we restructured as independent consultants.

Business Owner

Oakgrounds Inc. founder and president Ward Bouwman is an Certified Apple Technical Coordinator with Apple Help Desk Certification who brings a high standard of excellence to his work on Apple servers and networks. This year Mr Bouwman developed a contact database as well as a time allocation/​billing database in Filemaker for his clients. Mr Bouwman holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from the Netherlands and an M.S. in Mass Communication from Emerson College in Boston, Massachusetts. Oakgrounds is located in San Rafael, CA.
