History

Established in 2011.

RangeCafe Bar and Grill was one of the additional investments added to the property since new ownership has been developing and enhancing the entire property of Peacock Gap. Beyond a Café, the dream of RangeCafe was to bring new American dining to San Rafael, in a comfortable, relaxing and picturesque setting. Using only the freshest ingredients, RangeCafe’s kitchen is run by Chef Mario Gonzalez, who cooks each dish from the ground up, and has won the hearts of San Rafael and diners beyond. The point of Chef Mario’s menu is to serve a wide range of diners, from golfers, to people who just want a great place to hangout, unwind for happy hour, or have a business lunch, or family lunch and dinner. So stop in, meet the chef and enjoy a fabulous meal!

Meet the Manager

Todd L.

Manager

Todd Lejnieks brings over 20 years of food and beverage and restaurant operation experience to the RangeCafe. From Chevys, Buca de Beppo and Lone Tree Golf & Event Center, he has seen every aspect of the business. Starting with his first job in the industry as a dishwasher, Todd also oversaw the Southern California region as a District Manager for Chevys Fresh Mex. His passion is to bring love and caring to the world, through service, food and community.
