Doggie Day Trip (Group Walk) Twice as long as your standard walk in Marin, your pooch is GUARANTEED an entire hour and a half outdoors! This walk is PERFECT for medium to large dogs that require tons of exercise that could use the extra friends and socialization opportunities.

Wag-N-Walk (Individual Walk) This 45 minute personal walk is tailored to suit your particular loved ones needs whether it be ball throwing at the park, a non-stop walk around the block, a slow’n easy sniff and stroll, or having the opportunity to socialize bit by bit.

Pawsitive Puppy Classes– Unlike other classes in Marin, this puppy class has an Open Enrollment Policy (if there is room in the class you start this week) and an included «Jump Start» program (an in-home orientation to the class where we puppy proof your home, learn about potty training, crate training and the proper way to walk your pooch). Between that and your 6 classes, you and your pup will be ready to handle the real world in no time.

History

Established in 2010.

Although Smooch A Pooch Services is a new business, I am not new to the doggie game. Not only am I certified in Dog Training, Dog Walking, and Pet 1st Aid and CPR, but I have a degree in dogs! That’s right, I went to a college dedicated to helping dogs help people (Bergin University of Canine Studies) and achieved an A.S. in Assistance Dog Therapy (I trained dogs to help people with physical disabilities). I have been working with dogs for years now and I absolutely love it. Between my love of nature, my adoration of kissing cuddly canines, and my ability to really help people «get» their dogs, Smooch A Pooch Services was born. Already blossoming quickly I have a list of client references for you to check in with if you wish. I am committed to providing premier services with a professional and positive attitude, and to raising the bar when it comes to quality care using love and compassion. Don’t trust your beloved to just anybody, they deserve a top notch experience, don’t they?

Business Owner

Although born in Virginia, I was raised in New York and consider myself to be an authentic New Yorker. I grew up in Staten Island (not proud of it), attained my first degree at Pace University in Westchester, and then moved to the Upper West Side so I could work in television. After a few years I realized something was missing in my life, so I thought real hard about what made me happy. It was dogs of course, so I picked up my bags and jumped across the country to attend Bergin University of Canine Studies, a whole college dedicated to helping dogs help people. By the end of my studies I was able to get a dog to go to the refrigerator, open the door, get a bottle of water out, close the door, then bring that bottle to me and put it on my lap! After the degree I continued my education and went to the Dog Walking Academy where I was able to become certified in not only dog walking but in pet first aid and CPR as well. This business is my newest venture and slowly but surely its growing.
