My husband has been a customer of Chaise for a few months now. I recently became Chaise’s client and I have to say that he is great. He’s done a hell of a job with my beard. He is super detailed oriented, professional and knowledgeable. I highly recommend him!

Tino’s is legit. Another hidden gem for those who like to stay fashion forward with contemporary and classic cuts! Tino is an awesome skilled barber with a big big heart. He’s the only barber outside of San Francisco and west of the Richmond Bridge that my dad will go to. Also, he’s been amazing in that now he’ll come to my dad instead of my dad having to come to him — loyalty, dependability, and good hair artistry are priceless. I don’t know if he’ll do this for you, but I think that if you’re home bound, it’s worth asking. He also does shaves though I’m not familiar with the variety of service. Tino specializes in fades, line designs, and kid designs. I’ve also had my hair pressed here so have seen it all. It’s been a while since I’ve had my hair done here, so I can’t make a strong female hair dresser recommendation, but I can recommend Tino as a barber or men and children. Also, I know of other barbershops around Marin, but Tino’s is the only one that I know of with reliable fades and clean lines — servicing all types of hair and people. Lastly, his prices are real competitive. Most of his clients are repeaters likely why he can keep them low.
BOTTOMLINE I highly recommend Tino’s for a legit cut, fade, or shave at a über competitive price.

I needed to get cleaned up for a wedding this weekend so I asked the gentleman to use a two or three to start a fade up(I have been growing my hair out for 3 months) then just knock the tips off. What he did was use a two half way up my head on one side, then cut off ½ an inch(hair is about 1.5 inches long) in some spots. Now I have half of a shaved head with different length hair. I honestly have no idea what to do other than shave my entire head. Super nice guy but I look like a complete clown. I will remember this place for at least the next 3 – 4 months while I wait for my hair to grow out. On the bright side, I don’t have to worry about going out much because I will be wearing a hat everywhere.

It’s hard to find a decent fade/taper in the area so I figured I would give it a shot. James did a very clean job on my hair with the shears as well as with the clippers. Very detailed and courteous. I’m now a regular and I recommend!

This is definitely the ONLY barbershop in marin(«unless you’re a middle aged white guy, then you have plenty of options» –roberto g.) Tony cut my hair and he is good at his craft, and the atmosphere was welcoming. I will say that $ 20 for a haircut is far more than i am used to paying(back in Virginia I only paid $ 8), but this is the Bay are and you get what you pay for.

Only real barbershop in Marin. Unless you’re a middle aged white guy, then you have plenty of options. Jose has been cutting my hair for over 6 years. You’ll wait a hour for your turn with him, but he’s got hands.

Just went back for my second cut and it’s totally 2 for 2 with style, time and service! This is clearly a brotha’s shop and I’ve seen all kinds of folks both inside and when I’ve walked by, leaving with confident steps with their clean cuts.
