History

Established in 1992.

In my «past life» I was a family law paralegal. But when hypnotherapy changed my life for the better, I discovered my true calling as a transformational healer and coach.

That was over twenty years ago. Along the way, my fascination with the mind-​body-​spirit connection to healing and wellness grew.

I’m an expert in hypnosis, The Vimala System of Handwriting, & Energy Practices such as The Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) & the Tapas Acupressure Technique (TAT).

One of the greatest joys of my life is helping adults, teens and children 5 and up make good shift happen in their lives.

I specialize in non-​drug solutions to panic, anxiety, phobias & infertility because I have such great success healing these issues. I love working with scholar-​athletes for the same reason: great results.

I am proud of my sterling reputation and the referrals I receive from physicians, chiropractors, psychologists, psychiatrists and body workers throughout the United States.

Many clients have noted the special «healing energy» they feel in my office and have deepened their spiritual connections in the course of their work with me.

My husband Chris and I were married in 1978, and have two grown children, Matthew and Lauren, who are both in the LA area. We are besotted with our first grandchild, Dahlia Lucine.

Drop all your misconceptions of what this will be. Lucy uses many techniques to initiate your journey to inaccessible places. I am still buzzing from my session yesterday. The cosmos has a funny way of leading you to a door and I feel that way after having walked through Lucy’s door. I was led there by something greater than myself.
After an initial session that was more about my own story-​telling, in a later session, Lucy guided me through a spiritual experience that was paradigm-​shifting. I have just left a job after many years that was a family and a calling, so I have been doing more soul-​searching lately. Through readings, podcasts and now the affirmation from my spiritual guides (brought to my attention through Lucy’s work), I have been again reminded of some universal truths:

I’ve suffered from a variety of psychiatric issues since my early teens: anxiety/​panic attacks, excess weight, substance abuse/​addiction, etc. Despite all this, and with the help of various psychiatric medicines, I’m blessed with a loving family and a fairly successful career.
However, when I recently decided to ween myself off of some prescription pain medication, I found many of the ugly symptoms from earlier in life returning.
I’m at a stage in my life where I really want to rediscover who I AM
(the happy, pre-​anxiety kid from long ago), rather than using more medication to numb the pain, and, from what I read about Lucy, I felt she might be able to help me with this.
First off, I have my own brand of spiritualism but am also a natural born skeptic and generally anti-​New Agey type stuff. However, after talking with Lucy, there are two concepts that she spoke about that really resonated with me:
(1) There is a Higher Power which is there to guide us to our highest good
(2) In order for permanent change to occur, you must essentially «rewire the flow of energy in the brain»
Lucy uses a number of techniques designed around these concepts. As an IT Professional, (at the risk of over-​trivializing!) I would liken these techniques to certain computer maintenance utilities: Hard Drive Defrag, Registry Defrag, Temp File Purge, Disk Repair. This may seem like an odd comparison but I truly feel like my «emotional systems» are now functioning on all cylinders. I also feel more in touch with that elusive «life force» that has been largely hidden from me for most of my life as a result of it being buried deeply within and unable to express itself.

It’s hard to sum up in words the experience I have had with Lucy so far.
I contacted her regarding an issue I was having, and walked away with a higher connection to what I call «God» and spirit. I didn’t even know what to expect when I saw her for the first time, and was nervous because I had never seen a «hypnotherapist» before. But Lucy is so much more than that.

I went to see Lucy to address my fear of flying. After our first session I had to get on a 13 hour flight, and I was able to do so with essentially no anxiety. I first met with Lucy in a group seminar for couples dealing with infertility. After leaving the seminar I felt lighter. Within the following two weeks I became pregnant, after three years of trying. Unfortunately I was unable to carry the baby to full term but I know she had everything to do with my getting pregnant. She allowed me to see my future and that pregnancy was a possibility.
It is now two years later and I have decided to see her privately. With only two sessions I again feel lighter, like I am carrying around a lot less baggage. Due to her guided mediation and hypnotherapy I now have a mental place to retreat to when things are becoming stressful. ******It is much more beneficial than any traditional therapy session I have attended.***** She also teaches breathing techniques to calm the body and mind. Lucy is a joy to work with. You can feel her positive energy just being in the same room with her. I felt like she truly listened to my concerns. Just within a short conversation I felt as though I had known her for a long time. I was at my wits end with my young (5 yrs) son’s rocky transition to Kindergarten. He had been through a lot and was having a tough time adjusting — so much so that he was being sent to the principal’s office every day for the first two weeks of school! I met with Lucy and decided to give this a try, especially since the school was basically telling me that he has ADHD and needs to be medicated.
