I cannot give Angel and Shah enough praise!!! Their service and care cannot be matched anywhere! I’ve been coming to them for years and will continue for years! They recently helped me with a water leak in my VW and were so patient with me for weeks until it was resolved. Thank you thank you!!!

Honda wanted to charge me over $ 100 for a smog check on my 2005 Hybrid. Ahmed charged me $ 49.99. I was there less than a half hour. In and out. Fast and affordable. No coupons needed.

Although I’ve had mixed experiences before, I can see that they have recently been stepping it up with their customer satisfaction.
Their service is faster now as well.
The manager, Ahzam is very professional, and during the oil change,
he clued me in on a spot where oil was leaking, but without up-​selling me
on anything. He said I can take it back in any time if I wanted to fix it.
He also said that if I ever have any problem, I can always go back and
they will help me out, and made me feel that they cared about their customers.
Angel is also courteous and polite.
So for now, I will be going back again.

Walmart messed up my oil change and told me they couldn’t do it. These guys were more than helpful to fix the problem that supposedly Walmart said there was. Luckily, they were able to do my oil change that I’ve been needing for a month but didn’t have time. Will definitely be coming back here soon!

I have been getting an oil change here for the past two years. The service is always great! Angel always goes the extra mile to help and explain things to me. I recently asked him to check up on everything because I am going on a road trip. He took the time to check out my car and ensure that I feel safe and ready to drive it on my long trip. I would definitely recommend this place!

these guys a great everytime. All the reviews below are mostly bullshit because i have never experienced any of the issues here. they are quick tell you what you want to know and charge resonable rates. Angle and Shah are probably the top mechanics in this area without a doubt. They performed 2 oil changes for me and a full tuneup and now my car runs beautifully again.

DO NOT GO HERE. DO NOT GO HERE. DO NOT GO HERE. Service is very rude. They failed my smog with very little information. I also waited a very long time. When I went back to ask more questions the gentleman started raising his voice at me. I went to a different place and passed with flying colors (and it only took 10 minutes!). This place was such a hassle. Save yourself the time and energy and go where I went to: Discount Smog Check on SRVB.

Do not go here if you are getting something done other than smog. I am extremely dissatisfied by their service. I took my Honda civic there for some break work and the car has not been the same since. When I took it back for them to see what’s wrong they wanted to do a couple thousand dollars work on the car because there were so many problems. They were rude, and I will never go back.

My check engine light came on today halfway between my drive from the Bay Area to Sacramento. Bummer! BUT I was lucky to pull off the freeway and stop here. My girlfriend walked in and asked if they’d have time to take a look. The guy, Angel, said it was a busy day and he didn’t have time to run a full diagnostic but if we pulled up he’d check the code and tell us if it was safe to drive. After 30ish minutes he came over, asked some questions and based on the info we gave and whatever info he got from his machine he said it was probably the oxygen sensor, popped the hood, pushed on a couple things, and said we were good to go! He wouldn’t take payment and tried to refuse the $ 5 tip I gave. I jut wish I had a few more bucks! I got peace of mind and after whatever he did the check engine light was off! Best car repair of my life and a great experience with a really stand-​up mechanic!

I have a 1962 Lincoln Continental conv. Has been running poor for at least a couple of years. Going from shop to shop so many do not understand old school cars… Shah the owner and Master mechanic does fully understand. After plug replacement (pretty easy) and after adjusting timing and carburetor (very difficult) the Lincoln runs great. He took his time with it and we went on no less than 5 test drives until the adjustments were as close to near perfect as possible. What impressed me was he had a full bay of cars needing attention and he took his time to ensure Lincoln ran proper. Well car now runs great w/​free flow and no hesitation. He is AWESOME!!! and Angel helped too. If you have an old car that needs special attention, go to them his prices are amazing. I got tired of folks who call themselves «mechanics» and don’t have a clue how to adjust sensitive timing and
carb issues. Thank you so much Shah!!!

Got my smog done today. Took a little longer than some other places, but the waiting room was clean and there were semi-​recent magazines to look at.
The price was ~$ 40 (no coupon required), which was less than I paid a week ago at another place that requires a coupon.
I’d recommend this location to anyone needing a smog test. It does both a regular smog test and a test only.

My husband decided to take his vehicle to this Mechanic because he was a nice guy. Do not bring your vehicle for anything more then a smog check to these guys. The 1^st thing that happened was the repairs kept multiplying, 2^nd my husband stopped in to get gas at 5:30 in the morning and our truck wasn’t there. When he asked the mechanics about it one said it was in the garage, which my husband replied no it wasn’t I looked in the window (that was their story and they were sticking to it). Not really sure where our truck spent the night. The final and most costly straw was when we picked up our truck after having all this exspensive work done to it the engine started knocking. My husband took it back and asked the mechanic about it and his answer was «he didn’t know it must’ve overheated». This truck only had 60,000 miles on it and has never overheated. Turns out our engine is blown and is now at a real mechanic. This «Real» mechanic agrees truck must’ve been run without oil. No way to prove it and now having to put a new engine in it. Hopefully we can save someone else the same grief.

This place is garbage, was going in for a simple smog check on a 94 civic. My car passed everything except the functionality test. He said my timing was off by 15 degrees, wouldn’t just let me adjust it so I could pass, and said it would be «half price to bring it back to their shop. I would rather pay full price somewhere else that allows for a retest especially for something so small. On top of that when I went in to get my car they rang me up and gave me my key before they even told me my car failed! The only reason I even knew that it failed is because I asked. They were going to let me leave without telling me. The only good thing about this place is the short wait, but I can see why the wait is short, because they treat their customers like crap. I would never use this place again. I wouldn’t even get gas here!

This place is great! Brought my Honda Fit in for some engine problems. The technician called me within an hour to tell me what he found and some advice. He called again after he was done, always advising me and giving me options as far as cost. He even put in the air filter for free. I will be back.

Great shop. Great staff. Open Sunday’s. Techs who actually know cars. Best price in the area for smog. I build and service cars my self and have seen it all. I’d send family and friends here with out 2^nd thought. To the reviewer who’s car failed, not the shops fault your car was a bucket. Don’t hate on the shop based on your insecurities. They didn’t sell you your polluter. I’d trust these guys with smog or general repair in their other bay. And lastly to the helpless reviewer who couldn’t see their car being worked on, you may be a helpless lame but the rear section of the shop is accessible for you to observe your car being serviced. They offer a wide selection of literature and an HD television in the waiting room. No need for them to redesign the facility with a viewing area in the waiting room. Would you like a Starbucks in house also? 5 well deserved stars.

Pluses: The service was straightforward and quick. The standard service price matches the coupon I had. It’s not the lowest price I’ve seen, but it’s very reasonable. No attempts at «junk fees» other than the standard cert and transfer fee. So out the door quote was $ 39.99 with no haggling or need for coupons. When the tech was unable to complete the test, he said there’d be no charge and he offered to refer me to another shop.
Minuses: The service bay is behind a closed door, so there’s no way to see what’s going on. (I like to watch the tech go through the checklist and see the car running on the dyno.) Bad in this case because the test just dragged on and I wondered what was going on. Forty minutes later, the tech said that he was feeling «off» and unable to control the car’s speed on the dyno, so the test kept on aborting. I can understand this, but I had called ahead to confirm that there wouldn’t be any problem with getting the car tested that morning.
I debated about returning next week when the tech was feeling better, but I decided to go to another shop as I was nearing the registration deadline.

To the last reviewer, I am sorry your car didn’t pass smog. It doesn’t really seem like that should be the shop’s fault? Mine passed with the dyno, and they took under 20 minutes. Friendly, efficient, and $ 39.99 out the door. What a great price. Maybe you should fix your car so it can pass a real SMOG test.
