Barbara G Yee, DDS

Dr. Yee is a great orthodontist. I went to her a few months ago as my bite had changed and my teeth were no longer aligned (I had braces for several years as a teenager). She took good care of me and was very thorough and understanding when explaining all of my options. I am so glad I go to her!

Dr. Yee took care of my son through two phases of braces. I found her to be extremely caring about my son, even beyond straightening his teeth. My son is 16 now and just got his braces removed. His teeth look perfect. He has a beautiful smile now. Thank you, Dr. Yee!

Dr. Yee has been a wonderful orthodontist for my daughter — very thorough, very caring, very professional. My daughter just got her braces off and we could not be more pleased — her smile is beautiful! Dr. Yee always takes the time to answer questions and talk with us about concerns, and sees all the patients herself.
Highly recommend her! And we love all the penguins in the office.

My two daughters ages 14 and 16 yrs old are patients of Dr. Barbara Yee. They both had braces for about 27 – 29 months. And, just got their braces removed — they look GREAT! We never had any problems with Dr. Yee. She is always on-​time, very caring and knowledgeable. The best thing about seeing Dr. Yee is that she is hands-​on with the patients. There are no assistants working on you. You pay a lot of money at other ortho offices and only the assistant’s work on you and the doctor just does a spot check. I wouldn’t want to pay a lot of money to have a doctor spot check my kids.
I would highly recommend anyone to see Dr. Barbara Yee.

She is a total rip off. First of all my son’s lower retainer broken after only two months and she charged us $ 500 for a replacement but when you check online the average price should be between $ 300 and $ 600 for the pair of them. Also, I needed to get braces for myself and Barbara wanted to charge me $ 1700.00 more that both other quotes that I received, I asked her if we could comprimise and split the difference in half so that I could have the same orthodontist as my son and she would not budge, so I went elsewhere.
I would never ever recommend anyone use her service, she is just not worth the extra cost.

Great ortho! We have two kids go through Dr. Yee and feel the direct contact with «doctor» not assistants was far worth our investment than other orthos who may have nicer offices, game stations and heavy marketing. We had our first son go through 1^st phase with a very popular orthodontist on Bollinger Canyon. The kids loved his office because it was nicely decorated, they always had some gimmicky contest (mostly to generate referrals) and great service, but it felt like they were «moving» through as many patients as they could.
Dr. Yee’s office is your typical plain but very clean office and she is THE person that works on my kids and provides sufficient time to answer questions for both my sons and for us.
Yeah she doesn’t have a PS3 or Nintendo in the lobby, but we feel the quality of service is much better and we NEVER feel rushed like at the other office.
We will always recommend.

As a «grown up» I dreaded getting braces. But needed them — not for cosmetics, but so I’d stop cracking teeth due to misalignment. I won’t say it was a pleasant two years, but Dr. Yee sure made it easier! She was so encouraging, warm, and supportive. And very flexible working with my schedule. Now I have a lovely smile (although facing a year of full time retainer wearing followed by a life time of retainer at night). Convenient location and plenty of parking. Fair price. Great follow-​up. Comfort of knowing she’ll be supportive in the future.

I’m genetically missing adult teeth and had gaps in my bottom teeth for a long time. I was self-​conscious about it, especially when I smiled too wide. Even though people told me they didn’t really notice it, I knew it was there and I hated the way it looked.
I’d had braces before in high school, and they kept the gaps open for future implants. But I hated that orthodontist. I don’t remember his name, but what kind of orthodontist asks someone, who wants their braces off as soon as possible, if they are ready to have them off without proper consultation? I’d rather have an orthodontist who has goals in mind for my teeth and will advise me so that I am well informed on when my braces should come off. And that is what Dr. Yee did and more.
The gaps had closed up some because I didn’t wear my retainer (bad, I know). So my dentist recommended I get braces again to open the gaps wide enough. Dr. Yee said that she would be able to close them, saving me extra money on implants. And that is exactly what she did. No more gaps and I couldn’t be happier.
Sure, I dreaded getting them on. But it was so satisfying to finally be done. Definitely puts a great smile on my face.

Dr. Yee is a great orthodontist. She is professional and has a great attitude working with her patients.

Dr Yee is professional, caring and completed my orthodontic treatment with exceptional results. Prior to the treatment I had very bad gum (4 or 5) mm pockets. Since straighten my teeth and having better dental hygiene, my gums are a lot better with majority teeth at 2 – 3 Mm pockets (normal) and a few 4 cm. There was very little discomfort and I’m very happy with the results. I would highly recommend her to anyone considering orthodontic care.
