We had our wedding reception at Canyon View on 4÷30÷16 and it was everything we hoped for!
From the moment we first came to check out the venue (almost a year prior) right up to the actual day, Saneta always went above and beyond to help make our special day go perfectly. We strongly recommend the Direct My Day service because Saneta always answers questions promptly and thoroughly (no matter how silly you think they are) and she genuinely shows you that she cares about her couples. We knew we were in good hands and it really allowed us to enjoy the day and not be stressed.
Our guests are STILL texting and calling to tell us how much fun they had, how beautiful the venue was, and that the food and BYOB style bar was a hit (can’t beat the value)! After trying out the food at the large event that Canyon View hosts for their booked couples, we asked Saneta for more flavor on certain dishes and the venue definitely delivered on the day. All our worries about doing a buffet-​stlye dinner melted away with our first bites which were awesome.
So, in sum, if you are looking for a beautiful venue, attentive staff and an amazing day-​of coordinator, then Canyon View is definitely your spot!

For those of you who think you can get by without a wedding coordinator, good luck to you. No matter how organized of a person you believe you are, there’s nothing like having someone there to constantly be on top of your schedule, making adjustments based on the flow of the day, while also remembering all the small things you likely forgot when living in the moment.
Saneta and Brooke with Direct My Day were absolutely amazing for us. They took care of us like royalty, and made sure any issues the day of were addressed with ease. When we forgot something crucial to the wedding, Saneta’s assistant Brooke drove down to Target to get it for us mid wedding! Such a simple gesture meant the world to us in our time of need and catastrophe.
In addition to this, Saneta did a great job communicating with all our vendors both before the wedding and the day of. She coordinated the entire set up, and even laid out decorations for us in the morning. Everything from A to Z was covered, and we seriously don’t know how we could have made it through the day without her.
People always say that your wedding day is over before you realize it. That’s because so many things are happening at once, which is why an amazing coordinator is so worth it. Both my wife and I recommend Direct My Day to anyone considering them. You won’t regret it!

I’ve had the pleasure of working with Saneta as a vendor and I can’t emphasize how much she makes it easy for me and my video team. I’m sure many of her reviews are from clients and so I’d like to chime in with how she works with us vendors behind the scenes and why that is so helpful.
I’ve probably worked with Saneta 6 times in the past 1 – 2 years and each time, her organization and interaction with people is perfect. I won’t go into a minute-​by-​minute-​details of what happens from the moments before a ceremony until the dancing ends, but it’s A LOT. Saneta is the person who keeps it all together. For us photo and video people, it’s especially helpful because we are made aware of what will happen in five minutes (and exactly five minutes), and who/​where. In that five minutes we can clip on microphones, position our people in the best spot, and stage our lighting. It makes a difference! Saneta is on top of this and it’s consistent. She’ll make sure all the bridal party/​guest/​vendor needs are taken care of.
I’ve been a part of many weddings where things ran late. I’d probably say about 50% of all our weddings in the past did not run according to the timeline. Anything can happen!
As a vendor myself I can’t emphasize the importance of timeliness. We used to (back around 2010) be generous with time as long as we felt like we weren’t being taken advantage of. An extra 30min? Whats the big deal, right? Until I realized that many other vendors worked on a strict time limit and when we didn’t charge for the 30 min extension we made THEM look bad for doing what was right. Keeping the photographer, DJ, photobooth, entertainment and videographer teams for any extended time can get pretty expensive.
I’ve never seen Saneta miss a beat. And she does it while smiling and I feel like the wedding party is just focused on the wedding when she’s around. I recommend Direct My Day for any couple.

Saneta and team played a very significant role in the coordinating and execution of our wedding day this past October. Once we signed the lease for the venue and met with Saneta, it was clear that we would be paying for her services. Direct My Day allowed for us to worry less about the execution of the very specific details on our wedding day. She and her team were instrumental in the success of our day by ensuring that we were always in the right position at the right place time at the right time. They ensured that the vendors fulfilled their contractural agreements and allowed for us to enjoy ourselves. In addition, it felt like having a friend helping you through the entire process as we never felt like clients. She is sincere and genuine and kept our best interests in mind throughout the entire process. The best service anyone could ever ask for. Saneta took extremely good care of us. any questions we had she helped find an answer for. When we had a problem with a vendor she helped find a more than suitable replacement that was better than what we found in every way. Highly recommend using direct my day to make your wedding a walk in the park. Saneta was very professional and planned everything to the t for us. Of course we were able to completely customize and arrange the wedding to our taste but she knew exactly what and how we wanted it. Saneta is awesome! We chose Canyon View to be our wedding venue and that’s how we met her. She offered her services as a day of event coordinator when we booked the venue but at the time I was thinking that I (AKA the bride) would be able to plan, organize and execute my whole wedding… Soon enough I started to panic and realize that no matter how organized or good at planning and delegating I am it’s pretty impossible to be a bride and an event coordinator at the same time! So my mother in law called Saneta and she came to the rescue!!! Getting Saneta to direct our special day was the BEST decision ever. She was so nice, sweet, understanding, and prompt… She was part of the planning since day 1 after we hired her! One of my favorite things was how detailed her time line for the event was. She was very attentive on the days leading to my wedding, she called, texted emailed us and all the vendors. On the day of my wedding Saneta was on point and so professional. She set up decoration items and everything else that needed to be done for the wedding. She completely went above and beyond for us and our wedding was completely perfect and she was definitely one of the reasons why. There aren’t enough stars to give Saneta the praise that she deserves! My husband and I first met with Saneta through Canyon View and instantly knew we wanted to work with her as our day of coordinator. Throughout the entire process, she was always available and quick to respond to any emails, texts, or phone calls. She made us feel comfortable and every time I finished meeting with her I would always go home and say «she makes me feel so much better!» She went above and beyond in providing great service to not just us, but my wedding party, entire family, and all of our guests. Saneta with Direct My Day is amazing! Not only is she outstanding at what she does, but she becomes a friend right as you meet her!
My fiancé and I made an appointment to tour Canyon View for a potential venue for our wedding and this is when we first met Saneta. Right away, I felt comfortable with her with any questions we may have had and because of that initial feeling of trust and professionalism, we booked with her after 20 minutes! Another amazing quality she has is that she lays everything on the table for you so that you know exactly what they have to offer without any last minute surprise costs.
From the time we booked, right up until our wedding day, Saneta was on point with every single detail and she responded to any and all questions I had right away. We could definitely tell that she loves what she does and her passion shows through her work. I can honestly say that if we didn’t have Saneta coordinating our big day, I think I would’ve fell apart lol.
Unfortunately, we went with an outside vendor for our flowers and it was a disaster. Seriously a bride’s worst nightmare. The florist was almost two hours late, had absolutely nothing done and didn’t provide not one thing we discussed and paid for. Even though I knew what was going on, Saneta made sure to keep me calm and relaxed and made sure I knew everything was getting done and not to worry. I really appreciated that because she cared about how I felt on the biggest day of my life and made sure I was at my best mentally and emotionally before I walked down that aisle.

My sister got married at Canyon View on June 13^th, 2015 and Saneta was our wedding coordinator. She was on top of everything! Unfortunately, we had gone with an outside vendor for the florist and the florist not only was an hour and half late, but she had nothing done when she arrived and despite the ridiculous professionalism of the florist, Saneta was helping me run back and forth actually helping the florist get bouquets and boutonnieres out and on the wedding party. She was very professional and was more than willing to help us with anything that we needed to make things go smoothly. My sister was getting nervous, because of the florist and when she would ask Saneta what the status was she calmly, let my sister know that everything was fine and everything was getting done. She knew how to talk to the very nervous Bride and Groom. Since I was the Matron of Honor, I was running around trying to make sure that everything was going smoothly too, but Saneta definitely helped make my MOH responsibilities so much easier and less nerve racking. Thank you Saneta and Direct My Day for making my little sisters wedding the most memorable day of her life!

Saneta was our wedding coordinator this past December (12-​21-​2014) for our wedding at Canyon View. Apart from the amazing weather, guests, family, and each other, Saneta was the best thing about our wedding day and planning process. Saneta is very easy to work with and has a great amount of experience and expertise in the wedding business. There were times when we thought we knew exactly what we were doing planning our wedding, but when complications or challenges would arise, Saneta would always have the best advice/​solution. I can’t tell you how many times I thanked her, «I never thought of that! Great point!» In addition to her expertise, Saneta was incredibly available to us at any point during our planning process. I would correspond with her via email, phone calls, texts, etc. throughout the day and even in the evenings sometimes. She is always very prompt with responses and thorough with how she handles her business. Even when the wedding date passed and there was a complication regarding a hotel bill, Saneta took care of the miscommunication in an instant to make sure we were fully satisfied. Saneta’s willingness to commit to making our wedding day the best day our of lives will have lasting effects on our marriage. We truly had the perfect day and have to give a lot of thanks to Saneta!

We literally planned and orchestrated the entire wedding just the two of us!
However, planning and coordinating are two completely different tasks! We picked Canyon View as our reception venue and we met Saneta there for the very first time!
The day of our wedding was unforgettable because Saneta and her staff made it very special. At first we thought we could handle all of the coordinating tasks ourselves or pass some of the responsibilities to the DJ but we quickly realized that wouldn’t have been a good idea! We thought who needs a stinking coordinator when we can do everything ourselves right? Wrong! Once the pressure of time and so many other things to plan prior to the wedding accumulated, we finally decided to hire Saneta and
«Direct My Day» to coordinate our event.
Our wedding was enchanting from beginning to end and having Saneta as our coordinator was the icing on the cake! She took a heavy load of stress off our backs. In other words, she allowed us to enjoy our event and not stress or worry about any details! She was the director, the camera man, the producer, and the editor all at once! We were just actors playing the part in a well detailed and orchestrated movie!
Saneta made our day more special than we expected! Hiring her was not only necessary but the smartest choice we made! She directed our event with finesse, etiquette, great attention to detail, and professionalism!

Saneta was our wedding coordinator from Direct MY Day for our wedding this past weekend and she was such a life saver. She went above and beyond to make sure that we were stress free. She was very responsive, helpful and organized. Once she took over, we really didn’t have to do anything. She took care of everything. It was so awesome! She knew exactly what to do and created a very helpful timeline for the day of the wedding. She took the initiative to do everything she can so that we were able to enjoy the wedding and the wedding process. She contacted all my vendors to make sure they knew exactly what was going on and made sure they were there on time. The night before the wedding, I emailed her at around 1:00 am and she responded within 15 minutes. She was always available for us.
