Dr. Maska is a good neurologist. She’s knowledgable and personable. Unfortunately, the office manager that handles all of the paperwork is not so personable. Whenever there’s an issue with your insurance, she’s defensive and treats the patients as if they are the problem. She was rude to me and rude to the people at the insurance company who were trying to help her get paid. I now have a new neurologist, with an office staff that is professional and polite.

Oakland, CA
Dr Maska is an extremely knowledgeable, intelligent, well-​trained neurologist who is also empathic and compassionate. In my experience, this combination is rare. The wait to get an appointment is a reflection of the high demand I imagine she is in for her services. Her Oakland office staffing could be improved but, given her skills, she probably needs staff to protect her! (-:
