We are a completely virtual law firm. We offer affordable limited scope legal services to California clients. Unlike a document preparation service, we are licensed California attorneys with experience in Family Law. Unlike a traditional law firm, we do not ask for large retainers. All of our products are sold for a fixed fee. You only buy as much legal advice as you need, not a penny more.

History

Established in 2015.

My Virtual Divorce, P.C. was born of a vision to bridge the gap between people who can afford full time legal representation and those who can qualify for free legal services. On any given court day, I have witnessed countless individuals who are missing work and struggling to learn the legal system in order to get a divorce, provide for their children, and find justice. Missing a day of work is expensive, legal aids have very limited resources, and most attorneys charge hefty retainers. We built My Virtual Divorce, P.C. to provide you with an alternative to non-​attorney services, to help you stop missing work, and to guide you to the finish line so you can begin your new single life.

Business Owner

Hi, my name is Amanda Jarratt. I am an experienced trial attorney and a Certified Mediator. I have helped my clients with divorces, custody, visitation, pre and post nuptial agreements, guardianships, and step-​parent adoptions.

I like providing my clients with hope and resolution to create new beginnings. When not working with clients, I enjoy spending time with my twin 7 year old boys (quite a handful, but very fun!), cooking, and working out.

I went to law school at Golden Gate University School of Law and graduated third in my class. I worked as a law review editor and served as President of the Employment Law Association for two years.

I was the first child in my family to go to college and the first person in my extended family to attend law school. I went with a dream to help working people. In the practice of family law, I found a place where I realize my dream while helping my clients find closure.
