I have been working with kids for last several years as a pre-​school Teacher and then as home-​based care provider in Cupertino and Santa Clara.

I have taken child development courses at DeAnza College, Cupertino, California. I am also certified and trained in CPR (Infants, Toddlers and Adults), First Aid & Child Health Safety. .

I founded smilingangels in 2008, after moving to Windemere. I believe that all children deserve love, attention, and nurturing. I believe that a safe environment allows children to explore and grow.

At smilingangels, we allow children to have hands-​on learning experiences. This fosters age appropriate development. We read to the children everyday. We believe that positive reinforcement is important for children to develop self-​esteem. Children need an environment that supports free expression and stimulates learning. Most importantly, however, I believe that children need to have fun!

We have been sending our less than 2 year old daughter here for last 4+ months. We are very happy with this facility. Mrs. Lata ji makes it very easy and worry free for us. She takes excellent care of our daughter in terms of looking after her, feeding her, making her sleep for her afternoon naps. She is very honest when it comes to letting us know about how much she has eaten, how much she has slept and what she has been doing during the day. Our daughter likes it a lot here. It is like another home for her :-).
I would highly recommend this facility.

I found Smiling Angels through Unilocal and it has been the best daycare I have ever found! My daughter loves coming here. She even slams the door on us (parents) when we drop her off lol … we’ve been hunting for a good quality daycare for quite some time and it was such a refreshing feeling to finally find a super nice lady (Ms. Lata) to watch our little one.

Excellent daycare. As others have reviewed here experience for our 1year old has been great. Latha takes care of feeding baby’s punctually. Knowing kids are in safe and secure is paramount and this one of few cares which gives you that comfort.

My daughter has been going to Smiling Angels day care for more than a year now and she loves it. Lata helped her get over the separation anxiety quickly and she loves to go to the day care. She considers day care as her home and extended family. As a mom I feel very comfortale sending my child to Lata’s day care.

We have been sending our daughter to Ms. Lata for almost a year, my daughter absolutely loves it there.
Ms. Lata prepares very good quality food everyday, and feeds my daughter. She is very loving and cares for all the kids out there. It feels like a second home and we are glad that we found this day care.
We would very highly recommend Smiling Angels Day Care Home.

Found Smiling Angels daycare through Unilocal and gotta say the reviews are spot on. This is a home based day care but that doesn’t mean it’s not good. In fact it’s great. My child warmed up with Lata really fast which is a sign of how caring she is.
What’s more? They prepare homemade food for the kids during the day.
This place is great if you are looking for day care.

This is a great home based daycare in the Windemere area. Both my kids went to Lata’s daycare. She is a great lady and really loves the kids. My kids adore her! Both my kids are very well loved, cared for and emotionally secure in Lata’s care.
For a working Mom, that is the most important thing.
Sometimes if the kids are sick, she may get a little overwhelmed; but knowing her for as long as I have, I understand her concern for the other kids falling sick.
What can I say, my kids love Lata Aunty! If anything they are unhappy when they see me arrive to pick them up at the end of the day!

We heard of Smiling Angels day care from an adv in an eastbay egroups. Our twin boys loved her, the first time we met her. We are sending our boys from the beginning of this year. We tried La Petitie before, it was also nice but our boys were getting sick when they were in toddler room over there. So we got to pull them out from there. Mrs. Lata Mishra’s home is very clean and neat. Our boys feel like they are going to their aunt’s house. So no crying and fussing in the morning. She is geniuenly interested in taking care of our kids, She is not strict, And so all the kids coming to her day care love her.
We highly recommend Smiling Angels day care.

My son attended Smiling Angels day care for almost a year. He absolutely loved it and so did we. It was like a second home to him where the providers took full care of him.
