Team Santos Jiu Jitsu

My 5 year old son has been attending the kids class here for about 3 months, and he LOVES it. They offer kids classes 4 times a week, and he insists on going all 4 days unless we are out of town.
Team Santos is reasonably priced, and you get a full hour for the kids class. They just moved to a bigger facility where everyone has plenty of space. There is space for adults to sit, and restrooms available.
I find that the kids class is a good balance of learning technique and the application of it. They spend a lot of time warming up and stretching to prevent injuries. Each coach is also understanding of each child’s ability and what to expect for their age. I appreciate this especially since my son started when he was 4 years old, just shy of 5.

I started training here back in November and since then Team Santos has become like family to me. Jon and Jay are not only extremely knowledgeable and excellent instructors, but are very supportive and encouraging. Also, unlike some schools that will charge you an arm and a leg for tuition, Team Santos is very reasonably priced. They are dedicated to teaching and just want you to learn. Even if you know nothing about bjj, they will accept you and build you up. If you want to learn jiu jitsu, this is the place to do it!

trained there for around 3 years and loved every minute. healthy competitive environment for all ages. good place to get your butt kicked around but mature enough to avoid injuries to beginners. all ages were always welcome. the coaches are very humble and knowledgeable in their work. great atmosphere plenty of options for your training as well and they give you plenty of opportunities to display accomplishments in competitions. very strong character building place.

Jon and Jay Santos are not only very gifted, skilled and experienced coaches, they are incredible people with a genuine care and love for their students. With the exploding popularity of mma and bjj, fight gyms seem to be popping up everywhere and it can be challenging to make a good decision on which one to go to. I am very grateful that I was introduced to the Santos brothers through a previous coach. My experience under their instruction was always very balanced, insightful, thorough and encouraging. I have learned a lot through them both. Several things that I was very impressed with by both Jon and Jay, was their level of character. You may be able to find people who are good at what they do, but do they have good character? Do they have honor? In the Santos brothers you will find as I did, they have both. I was very appreciative to be taught by people of their integrity, their humility, and their dedication and generosity. Early on it became clear to me that they were not focused on making tons of money but rather they had a true desire to see each one of their students be the best that they could be. I’ve seen them give generously of their time, efforts, and they have done it out of the goodness of their hearts in wanting to help others. My recommendation to those reading this review is that if you truly want to grow in your abilities and knowledge of bjj and in becoming all that you can be as a person, the Santos brothers are the type of people you want to learn from. They are trustworthy and for the level of instruction that you will receive, you will not find a better and more reasonable price. Consider this to be a wise investment.

The Santos brothers are excellent BJJ instructors! I love training at this gym. Very reasonably priced considering it is a Cesar Gracie affiliate.
Just Train…

I trained with Jon Santos for two years while I was living in California. Jon is a tremendous teacher and very dedicated to his students. He has a lot of heart and great passion for the sport and it shows in himself and his students. I recommend anyone and everyone to train with Jon. You will not find too many places that are as comfortable and ego-​free to train. Jon also brings in some of the best talent regularly to assist in the overall development of his team. Awesome team spirit! Awesome school!
