Good, cheap, and surprisingly cleaner than I expected for an international grocery store. I was just visiting and wanted to check out what they had to offer.
It had a pretty good variety of imported products as well as a good selection of produce. They also have a small bakery and fresh tortillas made daily as well.

These folks make TERRIFIC tortillas! And their panederia ain’t chopped liver, neither. Quality produce at very fair prices. I was in SY for fish tacos at Fish Mart (epic!), finding this super little market was like winning the bonus round.

This place is clean and the staff are very friendly. They also have a decent produce section and deli. I do not frequent this place though because of their prices… they are a tad more expensive than other places. But if you like clean friendly markets then this is your store.

Chula Vista, CA
This is a larger version of the «neighborhood» market. It has a pretty good produce area with a lot of the Latin staples for cooking. Nopales, chiles, tortillas, queso, carne, etc…
They also have a butcher shop and little deli area. The best part was the alcohol/​wine area where I found a 1.5 liter of Sangria for 4.99!
So if for no other reason, try this place for the cheap Sangria, then prance over to the choice of either Fish Mart for some awesome fish tacos or cocktail de camaron or next door for some yummy traditional tacos.
