History

Established in 1972.

Rackliffe Lock & Safe was created by Russ Rackliffe and served the local area. With storefronts in Westbrook and then Old Saybrook, the business became a mobile business about 10 years ago.

May 2010 Russ retired and sold the business to Rick Bayuk. Russ enjoys his winters travelling down south and comes back in the summers to work and help out where needed.

Rick has owned several locksmiths businesses over the last 15 years. At the end of 2013, Rick divested himself of all his other lock businesses so he can concentrate all his time on growing and maintaining the current customer base of Rackliffe Lock & Safe.
