Lets Talk about some Customer Service.
As you can tell I’m some sort of a traveling dude, and over the years I have been really appreciate some of the hotel employees that have made my stay top notch and some not so much. Well this place made my day the moment I came in from the head ache Atl. traffic, Angela was my desk clerk that took to my special needs very promptly and making things 100% better. After a bad experiencing walking up to the hotel, but her actions made my stay and sleep so much better. I will for sure come back here for another stay. Thanks, Angela! !!

I am thinking there are much nicer options for places to stay in Atlanta. The rooms are very outdated, the bathrooms need a major overhaul. The bed was ok, the pillows are horrible.
The main problem we had was the very loud, and not very functional ac unit. It churned and whined all night. But even with it set to 65 it was hot and humid in the room. Not good with the 100 degree Atlanta temps.

Not impressed with conditions upon check in. Coffee maker not cleaned and various items left undone. Bathroom door was closed. I wondered if someone was in the room

This is a review of their front desk and director of sales:
Staff was not helpful at all when I was trying to find out information about booking rooms at a group rate. The director of sales never got back to me after I left her a message. Her voicemail recording states that she will contact me back within 24 hours. I called several times to contact her afterwards, but the front desk kept saying she was not available. Today I called again (2 weeks after initial contact). The front desk redirected me to the sales director and I got her voicemail again. I called the front desk back and asked if they could help me because I cannot get in touch with their sales director and all I needed was some information. They said that I have to talk to the sales director and that was the extent of their help. The front desk told me with an attitude, «So do you want me to redirect you to the director of sales or not.» Seems like they do not want any business.

Due to an unexpected turn of events during my trip to Atlanta two weeks ago, I wound up leaving the Wyndham hotel and staying here for the last three nights of my trip. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful with everything I needed. The room was cozy and the pillows were great! The hotel is nearby a mall and a lot of good places to sit down and eat. If you are on a weekend trip in the area, it’s definitely worth the stay. Also, if you’re into Italian dining, there is a restaurant called Maggiano’s connected to the mall which is very nice and decently priced.

Great location, spent 3 night here. Bed sleeps very good, nice towels. Good wifi .
Great parking, convenience to everything mall etc.
Had a Doctor’s appointment at St. Joseph. The shuttle drop me off and picked me up.
I’d stay here again!

This is a very hospitable hotel… everyone is very nice and customer service oriented. There is a free shuttle that operates within a three-​mile radius. I made good use of the shuttle during my stay. They put out a fairly decent breakfast each morning, which is nice. The only thing that grated on my nerves was the super friendly, ultra chatty staff in the breakfast area. Look, I just woke up. I just don’t want to be engaged in silly, pointless small-​talk with a complete stranger while I’m trying to shake the boogers out of my eyes and become human again. I understand that some people may like this kind of thing, so I recommend doing a better job of quickly assessing who is receptive and who is not. If someone grunts at you while you’re accosting them, as I did, then take that as a clue they don’t want to continue in your customer service frenzy. If they’re all, «Well, Good Morning!!!», then knock yourself out. Maybe I’m an a-​hole, but I just like some peace and quiet before I start facing the day.

Stayed here a week for business. It is very outdated décor and the carpet could use replacing, but it was very clean and served its purpose for sleeping.
Bed: When I first laid down on the mattress I thought it was going to be a week of restless nights, but I actually slept great (I brought my own pillow though).
Breakfast: Average, and without a big pot of oatmeal that I expect at most hotels. Being gluten free, I am unable to eat the carb-​aholic food on offer. The first day I had instant oatmeal (not entirely GF) and yogurt. For the rest of the week, I had just found my way down the road to the grocery store and bought some protein bars and fruit to have for breakfast.
TV: The volume continued to go out on me forcing me to change the channel and then change it back. It would continuously do it on certain channels forcing me to get frustrated and just find a different channel to watch.
Internet: If you are hoping to have internet service here, I would pass this hotel up and go with another one in the area. They have internet, but…
Wish I could say it was my business firewall that caused the issues, but I couldn’t even get on with my personal iPad or iPhone. I’ve traveled a lot in the last 10 years and have never experienced a hotel I couldn’t get onto their internet, so I can only assume it was not user error.
Area: Forget walking to anything. You are in close proximity to tons of things, but you’ll need to drive to them.
Overall: It is a clean place to sleep, but next time I will be staying at the Staybridge Suites down the road — closer to shopping and stuff in walking distance, upgraded, good breakfasts with TVs and internet that works. (I had co-​workers who stayed at Staybridge that thoroughly enjoyed their stay there and recommended I switch. I decided that was too much effort to deal with, but I won’t be staying at this hotel again.)

We stayed there last night and the night before. The positives: the room was very clean, the mattress was exceptionally comfortable, the pillows were the most comfortable we’ve ever used (even including our pillows at home), and the front-​desk clerk (the same one was there when we checked in and when we checked out) was very friendly.
The negatives: the free «high-​speed» WiFi should instead be called «NO-​speed» WiFi. Seriously, *dial-​up* would have been better (!). It was really frustrating and infuriating. Also; our room had a connecting door to the adjoining room and the person in the next room arrived late on our first night & he was noisy initially, although fortunately he soon went to sleep. Another thing; it was almost impossible to open the room door from *either* side. And yet another thing; we noticed that a piece of the baseboard was falling off the wall. Lastly, there were no more plates at breakfast today and that was a huge oversight (the breakfasts were the usual carb fest, but that’s typical). As an aside, the two Housekeeping women we encountered were unfriendly.

Have stayed at this hotel a couple of times. The rooms are clean and the beds are comfortable. The large flatscreen TV with HD is a bonus. Breakfast is a little above-​average.

I am using this forum to express my thanks and gratitude to the manager and staff of this hotel for sheltering my wife, and dozens of others, the night of the recent ice storm. Long story short, my wife had to backtrack towards her office after a bridge closing ended any chance of her getting home. While I am on one phone giving her turn by turn directions, I am on another calling any and every hotel near her, trying to find shelter for her; not a room, as those were obviously all gone, just a place stay warm and be off the roads for the night. Half of the hotels weren’t even answering their phones, and the first three that I did get through to were, to put it politely, less than welcoming, stating people couldn’t stay in their lobbies, one even stating that their security was going to close their lobby at midnight!
This Holiday Inn answered on the fourth ring, a young woman who couldn’t have been more positive and welcoming. As another reviewer said, the staff welcomed any and all ‘refugees’ into their lobby, finding a place for them to sit, giving them pillows and blankets, and hot coffee if they wanted it. My wife’s estimate of the total sheltered is 75. The next morning, the staff set up their continental breakfast; the refugees stayed put, feeling that since they were not paying guests, they shouldn’t partake. The staff told them otherwise — they (the refugees) were their guests and they were welcome to share. For most of those folks, it was their first meal in 18 hours. I cannot think of a better definition of hospitality, and caring for that matter.
Thank you seems to be so inadequate but I offer up those heartfelt words of gratitude to the manager and staff of this Holiday Inn for sheltering the most important person in my life. I will never forget your caring and graciousness.

Clean room. One night for business. Inadequate ground parking and wasn’t told there was garage parking. Drove around and around ground parking and finally went into lobby to tell the clerk that I had parked in a disabled space as two others had done. She tells me «turn left and there is parking there». Ok, that’s fine. When you have driven a long way the brain sometimes misfires when you finally get to the destination. I wish hotel schools would teach that.
Anyway, I would stay there again. Great central location to all the pretentious Atlanta, Buckhead, restaurants and bars. «Oh, please someone notice me in my Lexus! God forbid an American piece of junk».
Have fun in Buckhead.

Nice and clean and reasonably priced. We had a 1 night stay here on our way to Florida. I know some families can drive straight through for 20 hours, but we are not one of those! We stopped here for the night and were pleasantly surprised by several things.
First of all, they have adjoining rooms! Not many places have these anymore, I don’t know if it’s a legal thing or what. We get the adjoining rooms so we can have a room to ourselves and put the kids in the other one. That way, you get one day during vacation where you don’t have to hear boys farting and snoring!
The next great surprise was their excellent breakfast buffet! They had lots of fruit and the much-​loved pancake machine. You push a button and it makes 3 pancakes. My boys wanted to pick it up and take it with us!
I also liked the cleanliness of this place. Face it, we are all paranoid about bed bugs now. We didn’t have to worry about it after seeing the condition of the rooms, but I still checked the beds anyway.
Overall it was a pleasant, but short, stay.

I saw that no one had written a review for this so I decided to write one. This is a really great hotel. The rooms were clean and smelled really nice. They have a really great continental breakfast that doesn’t include the usual muffins and doughnuts. They have hot breakfast foods like bacon and eggs. Nearby places include Publix, RiteAid, Cheesecake Factory, Maggiano’s and Perimeter Mall. I liked it here and I would stay here again.
