Sprouts Farmers Market

Man, I’m so accustomed to Sprouts as I’m from the west coast. I was expecting the same quality service as I get in California. But there seems to be a disconnect between customer service at this location. The Whole Body worker seemed to blatantly watch me like I was going to steal some of her merchandise. Uh ma’am, you don’t need to worry about me as I’m not going to take anything from sprouts without purchasing it first. This left a bad taste in my mouth and I’m really hesitant on returning to this location. Perhaps the Dunwoody store will get my business again. Sigh.

California cool is catchy. The indifference shown by management and staff indicates that they think that kind of service can work in Atlanta. Good luck. This is the sunny, friendly south. We need love. If you don’t show us love, we’ll take our love and, more importantly to Sprouts, our money somewheres else (colloquialism intended).
Sprouts got on my bad side immediately when I visited the Mt. Vernon store and couldn’t get out of the store because of the lack of cashiers. I think they may have improved over the last few months, after numerous complaints and rumblings from patrons. So let’s talk about the lovely new store on Roswell Rd. Nice store. Convenient. Quality meat and organic produce. Strange thing, though… I found a large supply of lovely Talenti product thawed and mushy in a horizontal cooler out on the floor. Sprouts was storing the Talenti Pumpkin Pie Gelato in a refrigerator, not a freezer, and had it marked down 50 cents. I asked a manager if this was a mistake (although I knew it wasn’t because of the cheesy 50 cent mark down). He (the tall guy) replied that yes, it was a mistake, and that he would have it taken care of right away. I was back two weekends later and the gelato slop was still there. Not frozen. Just cool. California cool.

So far, I love Sprouts and I love that this location isn’t too far from me. I have been here twice now and each time I am a fan. They have everything you could want with what seems to be better prices than Whole Foods or Fresh Market.
They have a big selection in the front and center of the store of nuts, snack mixes, and candy that you can buy in bulk. I love the hot hot hot snack mix. It is definitely hot but so good. I, also, love the bakery section. They have chocolate chip cookies that I think are the best bakery cookies I have had from a store. There are 8 or 10 cookies in a box for $ 2.99 so I think it’s a good deal. Their muffins looked really good but I had to pass those by. Tip: do not ever go in a grocery store when you are hungry because you will inevitably buy too much because everything will look amazing. They have a fantastic prepared foods section too. They have packages of spaghetti, just pulled chicken, chicken fettuccine alfredo, twice baked potatoes and so many more options. I could spend so much money here.
The employees I have encountered have been friendly. I wouldn’t say they go out of their way to be nice or go above and beyond like many employees do at other stores such as Trader Joe’s but they are still nice enough.
I highly recommend at least stopping in and checking out a Sprouts location if you are near one.

Was super excited to check out this market and since its recently opened, I guess I was expecting more. I figured there would be super helpful staff excited to be there.
The gentleman at the meat counter was pretty nice and came up to help us within a reasonable amount of time.
However, the girls at the check out counter were hopeless. We put all our items on the belt and proceeded to stand there while the checkout girl carried on a conversation with another employee for another few minutes before even acknowledging our existence. She continued her conversation with her coworker and completely ignored us. Another girl came up to bag our items but proceeded to get yelled at by, I assume, a manager to go do something else. The checkout girl proceeded to smash all the heavy items on top of the more delicate ones and gave a very cursory ‘bye’ when she was done.
Def don’t think I’ll be going back. Was not really blown away by the selection or the prices. Think I’ll keep going to the Trader Joes down the road where the people are ten times friendlier.

I am loving the new sprouts store! This place is like a whole foods but for a lot less money. They have lots of fresh meats and organic vegetables. Nice cheeses and a good bakery. There are also a lot of bulk foods.
The only thing I I think really needs to be improved is the Olive bar. Most of the olives are pitted. But foodies usually want the stones in the olives, so Sprouts needs to have both pitted and unpitted.

Grand opening week. You would expect the experience to be over the top. Super friendly, willing to help, etc, etc. Afterall, it’s the first week! Stopped by at 7:30pm on a weekday and there were maybe 15 cars in lot. The store wasn’t empty, but not many inside. This review is primarily on the staff. Walked up to meat/​fish counter and there were 4 – 5 people in the prep area behind the counter. No one came up to the counter for three minutes. When a guy did it was as if I was a complete disruption. «Can I help you» in a completely monotone voice. I had to repeat three times what I wanted, since he didn’t appear to listen the first time. I finally realized he was asking which particular fillet I wanted, not which type of fish. So, I got my fish, but the service was horrible. Picked up a few items, then to the checkout. Of course, I was the only one there as again, not many in the store. One line was just closing, and a girl pointed to the next register. As I walked up, she glanced at me, but was in conversation with two other co-​workers and continued the conversation. Not just chit chat, but full blown engaged with her co-​workers, never once saying a word to me. I paid and left. Honestly, I’m not sure I would ever return. Most of the staff seemed unhappy to be there and I just gave the short version. There is fierce competition with Fresh Market and to some extent Publix basically across the street. The service there is outstanding. This place is doomed, unless there is new management or serious re-​training of the help. I doubt training would help as the current employees just don’t give two cents about the customer.

This was my first experience in any Sprouts stores and I was pleasantly surprised. I like the layout of the store. It seemed very clean and orderly and store associates were helpful. There weren’t as many organic produce options as I’d hoped but they got major points for having organic pink lady apples! The thing that won me over are their buy one, get one free deals. Must check it out if you’re in the area.

Lots of great choices ! This store is one of my favorites ! Everything is well organized easy to shop. Friendly and nice staff, efficient too. I Definitely recommend this store.
