There was live band for celebrations hence a lotta people at Steves. I know managing so many people can be a tedious task. But the service and food was really not great. Ordered for cocktails and food. It took like ½hr for cocktails to arrive and more than 1 hour for just the appetizers. After ½ hour we get to know that one of the appetizers isnt available(and it was just 7.30pm surprisingly to get over) and hence repeated the other appetizer. The appetizer was nothing like was we were expecting and very oily. This is the first time ever I witnessed a cocktail having so less alcohol. It was more like a juice. 7.30 pm being dinner time made us feel so hungry. They charge you $ 5 cover charge but not sure for what service. I could see just 2 waiters to serve around 150 people which would of course drive them crazy. We had to cancel the second appetizer as it was taking forever for him to give us. The ONE star is just for the fun we had for the live band.

Good = Cute spot. The fish tacos were really good. Good comedy event(good of them to do variety which brought me out), clean. Bad = …is bittersweet… I want to believe the comedy event(by TuKute)…was such a good turnout that their staff was overwhelmed. I don’t think they planned for as many ppl so the food/drinks/took a long time. But the bartender was so sweet and apologetic. She was very sincere in the lack. Ugly = none

I agree with all of the good reviews here so I’ll just tell you a real frustrating part of this establishment, # 1 they have no contact form or way to email them on their website, number 2, they never answer their telephone. # 3 nowhere anywhere does it say what time the hours of operation are! which I find absolutely off the chart, I refuse to go there for these reasons, I’m not about to drive all the way out there to find out there closing when I walk in the door, I mean an establishment that cannot communicate with the public and take feedback does not deserve to be open whether it’s a great place or not this arrogant attitude is unacceptable to me. The only thing they tell you on the website is when they open… wippy, an extremely long long bio of the band is so boring and unuseful with no bearing on the music shows a lack of experience in the business, instead of putting a link to a YouTube video or some music of the Band so somebody might be able to see or hear if it’s their style, they read a lifelong history about the person as if they’re selling their friendship on a dating site… lol. when you buy tickets at the door there is not even a ticket price on the website, the couple of times I did go there, there was no one even at the door collecting the money, you could walk right in, website looks very outdated with old style buttons, with so many great things going for it I doubt it will stay in business because these things eventually catch up, other than that, it’s a great place, good idea, good music, something the area desperately needs but also needs people that know how to run places like this which is unfortunate, but with just a little bit of correction in these issues they would be all set. I went 37 main in Johns Creek the other night, if you want to see the model place for bands check it out, 100% impressed with everything, I think all the places that have bands should go there see how it’s done. I’m from New York where places knew how to run the places, being in Georgia has been one of the most disappointing experiences, watching these places open trying to have bands they have no clue how to run the places.

Steve’s Live Music is a music venue, like the name says. It’s an intimate music venue. It looks like a good place to listen to a local band. The acoustics seems good. I don’t know about the sound system though. The mic for the singer seemed low. I couldn’t hear the dude singing. They needed to balance it better. Then again, maybe it’s the band’s fault for not having a sound engineer? I didn’t get to try the food here, but I’m sure it’s fine. If you have a band, you can book through the Website. You can also rent out the entire venue for a private party if you want.

Steve’s is a great place for beer, music, and food in Sandy Springs. On Sept. 17th we had a fund raiser for , and Steve donated all the box office proceeds to the cause. Steve is very easy to work with, and I recommend his venue for a fund raiser, party, or silent auction. I love the fish tacos, and Italian flat bread. Good assortment of beer, wine, spirits/spirituals. Steve has a great buffet on Sunday with cool jazz bands. Friends; We are having our Oct. 18th walk and Roll for at Agnes Scott, so sign up for Team Robbins. I expect to see +Steve’s Live Music on the Banner because he donated over $ 500. to the Foundation. What a guy. Thurs. night blues is my favorite, and if you play, you get in free.

It is a nice little place. The prices are fair and the service is excellent. It was raining hard when I got there so I was waiting to get out of my car. Someone came to my car with an umbrella to take me in.

The place was nice and the food was good, but don’t go hungry or expecting a dinner meal. The menu is limited, reasonably priced and portions are lunch sized portions. We saw the Sinatra revue which was ok at best. I did not connect and was not moved. about 35% of the audience left at the break. I guess I wasn’t alone. The musicians were good, but musical arrangements had long instrument«breaks» between the singing. Some song selections were ok at best, which made it difficult when they added songs Sinatra should have done, and songs Sinatra did that no one in the audience knew. I missed some of the classic Sinatras and cherished the few I liked during the show.

Great place for listening to a variety of musical genres from bluegrass to blues to folk songs to gypsy music. House wine is pretty good and reasonably priced at $ 5.00; food selection is limited(mostly various types of flatbread) and seems a tad overpriced at $ 10. But really those are pretty insignificant complaints given the quality and variety of the music. There’s also plenty of free parking around the building, a nice plus.

Went to an open mic Monday night as an out of town guest. As I walked to the front door with my date, we were greeted by what turned out to be guests of the bar. They were extraordinarily polite, as was the man and woman that greeted us at the door. In fact, the woman later introduced us to the crowd, was very polite, positive, and made us feel welcome. The bar keep had a rough edge, but it was a pleasure to communicate with her. The live music was so-so, but the night was relaxing, and we would definitely go back and recommend this place.

I went to Steve’s live music for an open mic night recently, the first visit for both me and my friend, we both had a blast. Loved the place. I really enjoy live acoustic music, and this new venue was just right. The environment was great, the waitress very friendly and attentive, the music was really good and also very much enjoyed the woman who was introducing all the musicians, she was warm, welcoming and just did a great job. I would absolutely go back. I live out of town, but come to Atlanta on a regular basis, next in Atlanta will definitely be returning, look forward to more music at Steve’s!

Mushroom flat bread! Sadly all of the other reviewers were correct, TOOMUCHSALT! I sent back my side of spinach and it was brought back just as salty! Eat somewhere else first, then listen to GREATMUSIC here. It’s non smoking, that’s great! The drinks are good, I love that they use all scratch ingredients, no sour mix here! I enjoyed the mushroom flat breads the most, everything else was salty, soggy, yucky.

Is it possible to be hipster is Sandy Springs? The answer is yes! I had some great grub while I was here, and more importantly, all seats have great views of the stage. My first time here was memorable and will be going back soon. the bad part is you have to negotiate the dreadful Roswell Road for a bit to get here if you’re coming from town. but… well worth the trip.

I have frequented Eddie’s Attic for years, and was excited to find out someone had opened a live music venue on the northside«OTP», so thought I would try it. The music was great… it was a packed house. I saw Matthew Kahler who I had seen several times at the Attic… he is always incredible and didnt disappoint this night either. The opening act was not incredible, but was entertaining nonetheless. The acoustics were pretty good, and the place is charming enough. Now, the average part… I would have given 5 stars, but was a little disappointed in the food portions and prices of food and drinks. Draft beers were 5 bucks, which I suppose is average price… my date ordered mixed drinks(absolut vodka tonic), and they were 10 bucks each, and were a bit smallish(you can almost purchase a 750ml for this at the liquor store, so 6 – 8 bucks should be plenty). Mushroom Flatbread had good taste for bar food, but was 10 bucks also. We also had the blackened fish tacos… they were so salty, almost made me spew it back out… and there were only 2 tacos… cost 10 bucks. Hmmmm… I am sensing a 10 dollar theme here. For $ 10, you should definitely get 3 tacos… unless you are sprinkling them with«pixie dust» or unless they are tacos for a giant… which these were not. Note to management… some of us can do math… a 5 dollar taco should absolutely rock my world! These are Marlow’s Tavern prices, and this ain’t Marlows. In conclusion, I will go back… but I will probably eat before I show up. Lower the prices a couple a bucks per, or increase the portions… and I give it 5 stars.

I’m a fan of Steve’s Live Music. My husband and I went for the first time last week and we had a blast! The musicians that played there were extremely talented, the food was good and it was just an overall great afternoon out. We met Steve, the owner, and he’s a really nice guy. The location is great, too, for N. Fulton folks who want to listen to some great live music!

Visited this new venue, in the former Embers/KC Barbecue facility. It’s family run, and feels that way. Very friendly, laid back. We did not try the food but hope to someday. If they can stay alive outdoor dining while hearing the musicians will be a plus. Something is missing though & I’m not sure what it is. We saw Will Turpin of Collective Soul & he was good but that opening act was not …

Wow! Great addition to Sandy Springs. Only reason for 4 star is he was working out some kinks with service. Music was perfect for a neighborhood joint.

Check out this brand new venue behind Rumi’s in Sandy Springs! Great variety and quality of musicians. Smoke-free, homey yet cool environment. Menu is limited for now but really good. Mushroom flatbread is especially yummy. Bonus points for being pescatarian(though I will say that I hope they add a few more vegan options!) The place specializes in international/folk music and I think it really adds a lot to the scene in town, particularly in the OTP area. For a bar, it’s pretty kid-friendly, too. You can buy tickets online up to 4 pm the day of the show or just pay at the door. Tables are reserved on a first come first serve basis. Bathrooms are extremely clean but this could be partly because it’s new. I know the owner — he’s a great guy and this place fills a good music niche. So go! And definitely give feedback if you have it, they’d love to hear it. Things are still getting started so I’ll update with more detail in a few months!
