Bellissimo Salon and Spa

First time customer, Britney (I think that’s how she spells it? I don’t have her card in front of me, sorry if it’s spelled differently, lady!) did a great job, didn’t talk too much (I am down to get my hair cut, but I am really bad at small talk and would rather just go without) and wasn’t weirdly aggressive when I had slight suggestions for change.
She is awesome, will be back.

Tanya is the best at color! I have naturally dark brown hair but like to be a blonde. It’s hard to find someone who can get the right color. She was the first person to make me blonde! I lived in denver for a few years and had some people really eff my hair up! Moved back here and Tanya has taken care of me since. She’s a great stylist and an awesome chick. The salon is small but cute. It’s right off of highway 26 which is convenient for anyone who doesn’t live in Sandy. Decent prices too. I would suggest Tanya to anyone trying to get good color!

Kathryn has been doing my hair for a few years now and she works wonders. She not only does exactly what I ask for but is always concerned for the health of my hair and when I leave it always feels healthier and looks amazing. She is by far the best hair stylist I have ever had!

Kathryn is amazing at her job! I haven’t liked my hair this much in quite awhile. Super friendly, really listened to what I was looking for and gave an all around good consultation since it was my first time visiting Bellisimo Salon. I loved that she added her own fun twist to the appointment by not letting me see my hair until the very end. Booked my next appointment on the spot and looking forward to it!
Also received a mani/​pedi on the same visit. I was very happy with how my nails turned out. The nail area is far enough away that with music playing it drowns out the noise from the hair tools but when the music is not on you can hear EVERYTHING!
I will definitely be returning for more pampering.

I have been seeing Shana for years. She is amazing and very talented. She always has great suggestions, but at the same time will listen to what you. All of my sisters and a lot of my friends go to Shana… She is amazing…

Needed a haircut. Don’t have a regular barber so decided to try here. Got in pretty much right away.
Was matched with Alex. She did a nice job on my hair, took her time, made sure everything was even etc. very accomidating. Washed my hair before the cut and even offered to wash it again after to get the extra hair off.
As a ‘dude’ I don’t always like going to hair salons, due to the sometimes excess of female energy. Alex was awesome and fun to talk with. We both like golf so that was nice.
Would recommend Alex to anyone.

I loved getting my hair done by Shawna. My hair had been extrememly damaged by a previous stylist (not from this salon), and Shawna has finally brought it back to life. Thank you!!!

My girlfriend has been getting her hair done by Shanna at the salon for a while now and she always looks extremely good after she gets it done. She even drives a over thirty minutes to get there. I can’t really judge the overall salon quality experience, but it seems nice and the end result is always impressive. My girlfriend is in her mid 20’s with medium length hair that she usually straightens if that helps any.

After walking in on my birthday two years ago, I am a client for life. Shanna does an amazing job taming my unruly curly hair and never chides me for the obvious neglect I have inflicted between cuts. Every time I am able to sit back, enjoy some great conversation and walk out like a new woman!

I’ve been getting my hair done by Greta ever since she was down in Portland at Hello, Gorgeous. This girl knows her stuff! She’ll make sure every last detail is taken care of when it comes to your hair. She’ll make sure you leave looking the way you want and no hair will be out of place. It was nice to walk in with a picture of the hair style I wanted and leave looking exactly like it. Greta even gave me some quick and easy styling tips to make sure my cowlick behaves with my new bangs. Thanks, Greta!

This is such a great little salon. All the girls are so inviting and nice. I highly recommend Greta! She takes her time and is really concerned about the details so your hair comes out looking great when you’re all done.

I had originally written a review for this salon 8 months ago, my first impression was great! I had my nails done and after my first visit I was excited to have a new nail place. I had a real Steal Magnolia feel about this salon — at first. I went a few more times and then stopped and will not go again, at least not for the nails. After casual chit chat, asking me about myself and my family and getting to know her new client — the nail tech started telling me about the weed she keeps in her freezer, the illegal treatment she does for her clients that have bad foot fungal diseases and all sorts of other bazaar «gossip». Well if this was real life Steel Mongolia Sally Fields would have crapped her pants with disgust, Julia Roberts would have a seizure, and Dolly would have given her a what for! I am not a good olé southern girl but I know poor manners when I see them and this was bad form. Like our mama’s always say — if you aint got nothing nice (appropriate) to say, then shut your damn mouth!
