Chianti’s Pizza & Pasta

Excellent chicken Alfredo. I also had the artichoke and sun dried tomorrow salad — very fresh and flavorful. Yes if you love garlic the knots are addicting. Service was spot on

Ordered the Chicken Francese for take out. When I got home and opened it up I found a watery mess of chicken and pasta. So I tried it anyway. It was disgusting. The chicken was over cooked. The sauce was lemon water. Probably the worst pasta dish, or pasta soup, that I’ve ever had. My wife’s chicken parmigiana wasn’t as disgusting as my dish but it definitely wasn’t good by any means.
I will never return to this restaurant. Period.

Very good, 9 – 10 will not dissapoint… That 1 time I was not happy, felt like the pizza was rushed, fries are awesome… Def recommend

I had such good service today. My food was sooo amazing. On top of that they gave us garlic knots & enjoyed those as well. I finished with a cannoli which was so damn good. Highly recommended this place. Nice service, nice setting, great food. Can’t ask for much more.

Food and service was excellent. Very personable staff and everything was chef prepared. I sat looking into the kitchen and it was the real deal. I will certainly go back. I had the filet mignon parm on linguini. Great choice if they have it!

Everything is so damn good here! From the Pizza the burgers. Actually one of my favorites is the Tuscan Burger. Their lunch specials are affordable and made to order. Definitely one of my favorite places to grub in Sanford.

We stopped in for a late lunch. The service was excellent. We ordered the bolognese and a pizza. Both were right on point. We will be back.

Ate here with my girlfriend and parents on our trip to Florida. It was the first place we stopped when we got there and we were very happy we decided to go. The food from appetizers to dessert was wonderful.
The server was extremely friendly, approachable, and professional. We were given complimentary garlic knots and they were delicious. I had the veal and it was some of the best that I’ve had anywhere. Not bad for Florida!
I checked in on Unilocal and they honored my free cannoli, which was good, although not the very best cannoli I’ve ever had (it’s hard to beat the best of the best from New York).
Overall, this was a great place that didn’t break the bank for a great Italian place. Definitely worth trying if you’re in the area.

Great food, great ambiance and wonderful wait staff. It has become one of our favorite neighborhood restaurants. We always know we can bring out of town guests here and they will be very happy. The Service has always been wonderful. That is so very important.

We stopped in north Orlando on New Year’s Day on our way home from a vacation and decided to get some pizza for dinner. This wasn’t our first choice (our first choice was walking distance from our hotel) but we were SO glad our first choice was closed. Walking into this place, it reminded me of the pizza spots north jersey. It’s not large, but it’s open kitchen is a nice touch. Our server was awesome, extremely attentive and not afraid to give us his suggestions. I ordered veal piccata. Veal was tender and the sauce was perfect. My wife ordered the margherita pizza. Simply amazing. I consider myself a bit of a pizza snob coming from the New York area and this pizza killed it. It had a nice thin crust, great sauce, and fresh cheese. The experience and food was the most authentic we’ve had in Florida. We left there planning our next trip back to Orlando just eat at this little spot! Highly recommend!

I love this place! Great food and reasonable prices! Their kids Mac and cheese looks and tastes homemade and not from a box like a lot of restaurants. Great service, food and atmosphere!

This restaurant is absolutely delicious, and never fails to please. They have amazing lunch specials, $ 8 and change with tax and no delivery fee. You can even add bacon to your burgers for no charge. The food is unsurpassable. All of my coworkers are drooling every time I order from here. They always go out of their way for their customer, you can tell that they really care. It is hard to find this type of service anywhere else. When I finally was able to dine in, I was surprised that they even deliver. It is a fine dining experience, with a homey feel from the staff. Keep it up Chiantis, you have a customer for life here.

I continue to buy my pizza from Chiantis. As a native New Yorker., I’ve eaten NY style pizza for many years. This place is just like home. Fresh ingredients and the crust just as I requested — crispy. I should of taken a pic but after the first slice, I murdered the pie. My pizza is consistently delivered nice and hot. The Lunch specials under $ 10 are great deals.

I have dined at Chianti’s a half a dozen times before without issue. But tonight’s issue will keep me from returning for a while.
My wife ordered the stuffed pepper special which came with a Cesar salad. I ordered the Spaghetti pomodoro with meatballs. I added a Cesar salad which the menu indicates can be added to a pasta dinner for $ 2.99.
When the bill came I noticed that I was charged $ 4.99 for the Cesar. I asked our waiter why, and he indicated that the Cesar that came with my wife’s special was a «full size» Cesar while the one that was $ 2.99 was a «side Cesar». He offered that rather then serve me a smaller salad, he opted to serve me the $ 4.99 salad so it wouldn’t look different than my wife’s. Seriously??? Isn’t that MY decision to make?
I’ve asked for management to contact me. I won’t be back until someone does and acknowledges that the waiter’s actions were totally inappropriate.
UPDATE: The chef/​owner contacted me shortly after my review above and acknowledged that the waiter’s actions were completely inappropriate. He indicated that he had discussed my situation with the entire staff and assured me that it would not happen again. He thanked me for taking the time to write the review, as he appreciated the opportunity to educate his staff. He asked me to return and give Chianti’s a second chance.
I plan to do that in the near future.

Great food and service! We had the lunch special which was only $ 7.99 which included an entrée and a drink.
I had the spaghetti which was quite tasty.
Christina was our server and she was awesome! Highly recommend you ask for her as she’s a great server.

I’m not the biggest fan of NY style pizza but if it’s done well, I will pay good money for it… I prefer to make fresh pan pizza at home which everyone tells me is some of the best pizza they have ever had but I don’t always have time to make the dough & sauce along with shredding fresh cheese. Being the pizza junkie that I am, I LOVE to get out to different places to see how other pizza artists are perfecting my favorite food.
While I have only been here one time and I have other pizza places closer, the cheese pizza that I got was perfectly cooked, had great, fresh tasting crust and an extremely generous amount of cheese and extra sauce was free! I will definitely make the trip to come here again in the future.

We ordered pasta dishes, Marsala and scaloppine. Both were really good. A lot of people around us were ordering pizza. Everything looked amazing. Very busy on a Friday night and parking got a little packed. Good experience, will go back.

We went to this restaurant to support an event for one of our partners and I’m so glad we did! The staff was incredibly friendly and the food was terrific. They are also very gluten free friendly!
Chef Ian took care of us personally and prepared gluten free ravioli stuffed with chicken and spinach. It was awesome!
The ambiance was very nice, the restaurant is very clean and bright and I would highly recommend a visit for fresh Italian meals and great service.
