I agree with David F. Take your vehicle somewhere more reputable than this place. Took my SUV here because my check engine light was on and I was told it was an oxygen sensor even though it was replaced not even a year prior to going to this shop at Ford dealership in Pittsboro. I reluctantly had the repair done. When I picked the vehicle up the check engine was still on!!! I was told that it would go off in 24 hours, it just needs to reset itself. Of course that didn’t happen. When I contacted the manager, he tells me «oh it could be any number of things», yet he never said that when he told me it was the oxygen sensor that this may not be the issue.
Save yourself time and more importantly money. This shop is a complete ripoff!

We found this little gem of an automotive shop 6 years ago. They have always fixed our vehicles in a timely and cost effective manner. Through their recommendations and guidance, I have to say that I think they have saved us more money over time than we have paid them. In doing business with them, we’ve actually come to know them. They are not only a great business, but great people as well. We couldn’t recommend them more!

Very misleading on what repairs were needed and how much they would cost. The manager was not helpful when explaining the final cost and repairs with the car. Do not take your car here! You will pay 4 times what you would at a different mechanic!

This was my first time going to R & N… and they did not disappoint!!! I was skeptical being a military wife with my husband deployed and who to trust with my vehicle. They did a great job! They didn’t touch anything until I went over my vehicle evaluation and even spoke to my husband in Afghanistan!!! I will forever be grateful to them.

We can always trust Robert & his staff to help us out with our cars. They are good about suggesting what the next thing might be & are honest about what expected prices or how long things can wait & when they can’t. All of the people in their garage & office, including Robert’s wife Sharon, are very friendly.

I highly recommend R&N Motor Company. I recently took my 2011 Dodge Avenger to the local dealership who advised that my problem would be a «major repair» costing over $ 800. I found Robert online (really by accident) while researching why the «major repair» was not a recall or covered by my warranty. From the minute we called, we were very impressed by the level of professionalism and customer service. He promptly returned our call, made an appointment to accommodate our schedule, and offered other recommendations since we are new to the area. Long story short… my car is running like a champ… and he repaired it for $ 172 versus the $ 800+ quoted by the dealership. He is our new mechanic!
