Well I can most definitely say very good things about Jason Cohn and all the staff that works around him! Every time I had any questions or any concerns regarding my car accident case Jason and Lindsey we’re always so quick to respond back to me… even after hours! I was in a terrible car accident a couple of years ago and originally thought that I would be fine handling things on my own. After being rear ended in a car accident and having to pay for medical visits out of my own pocket I thought I better seek help and find an attorney. Not knowing of any attorneys I did an internet search and was lucky enough to find the firm of Cohn & Swartzon. I had never been involved in any kind of lawsuit or anything like this and knew I needed to find a firm that I could trust and that would look out for me and my best interest and not their own.
I met with Saar Swartzon who reviewed my case and agreed to take it on. I liked him right off and found him to be a very genuine and caring person, not the stereotype attorney many people think of when they think of attorneys. Whenever we talked, his first concern was always how I am doing and how am I feeling and then we discussed the case. We first thought my injuries were limited to a whiplash and a few bruises, but after months of therapy and really not getting any better Saar recommended that I see a Neurosurgeon to review my medical condition and records.
Luckily I did so, we found my medical condition was much more severe than we thought and that I needed immediate surgery to correct. Saar Swartzon fought for me for over 3 years, he never caved into the opposing insurance company and their attorneys claims that I had a pre-​existing condition and they were not responsible. They always took my calls or got right back to me with any questions I had.
Finally just before our case was set to go to trial, my case was settled. Saar never gave up and after a long battle I finally received what we all considered to be a very reasonable settlement without having to go to trial. What I appreciated the most from Jason Cohn and team is that they made this process as painless for me as they could have. First and foremost, the communication from Jason, Lindsey and Renee was always very clear. When there was a new piece of information I needed to know, I was always kept in the loop.

I live in the Los Angeles area and was referred to attorney Jason Cohn through a friend whose opinion I trust. Jason’s firm is in Orange County and I was told and assured that the distance to L.A. would not be a problem. Let me say that I’m not a big fan of lawyers. Who is? These two were different. I was involved in an auto accident earlier this year. A friend of mine referred me to attorney Saar Swartzon at Cohn & Swartzon, a Professional Law Corporation. I met with Mr. Swartzon and his senior paralegal Linda Chapman to discuss my accident. We discussed the accident, the pain I was in and how my doctor was going to submit a request for physical therapy to my insurance company, which could take up to two weeks to obtain approval I was told. I informed Mr. Swartzon that I had previously had cervical surgery in 2012 and how it took almost a month to receive approval for physical therapy from my insurance company and make my first appointment with the physical therapy location they approved me for. With the pain I suffered from the whiplash caused by the accident, I could not wait that long. Mr. Swartzon referred me to a physician that he knew so I could be evaluated and obtain written approval immediately for physical therapy. Mr. Swartzon also referred me to a physical therapy location near my work, which took me in immediately to begin my treatments. During my treatments, I did not have to worry about anything. Linda Chapman handled all of the incoming bills that I received incurred by the accident as well as all of the correspondence from the insurance companies requesting updates.
Their legal assistant Renee Bushman did a great job following up on the information requested by Linda about the other party to help with my case. I was always kept informed on the status of my case and always received quick responses to my emails.
Due to the outstanding work that Saar, Linda and Renee had done, my case settled quickly and I am once again pain free.

When I was searching for an attorney, I was very skeptical, since I have heard so many horror stories of attorneys not returning phone calls, not really caring and only caring about the money, along with other not so nice stories. I could be the poster child for skepticism on hiring a lawyer. I’ve seen and heard too many times about lawyers with bad communication, poor outcomes, and just an all around terrible experience.
Cohn and Swartzon changed my view, and I would recommend them to every person I know.
I was involved in a serious car accident that left me in tremendous pain. I wasn’t sure what my next steps were, but I knew I was becoming overwhelmed with paperwork, phone calls, and doctor’s visits. I was beginning to lose track of everything. I was recommended to visit with Cohn and Swartzon, and was immediately impressed with their professionalism, and confidence.
