Dee Lux

Looked up this place trying to find thrift/​consignment shops to visit. I thought this place was going to be one of those vintage stores for older folks, with a small selection and high prices.
It turned out to be more like Buffalo Exchange and Plato’s Closet. They buy and sell «in» clothing. The men’s section was very small and many of the t-​shirts were the same or from the same brand, but I found a nice embroidered t-​shirt and a unique jacket… Both half off. Prices are a bit high but like Buffalo Exchange and clothing were in good condition. The place was clean and well organized. Given its small size, I probably wouldn’t come back often but I would consider stopping by if I’m in the area.

I have been coming to Deelux for a couple of years when they were back in Costa Mesa. I finally had the chance to check out the Santa Ana location and I had a great shopping experience.
The clothes were separated by clothing type, size, and even color. The employees were very helpful and super sweet. Some trips are a hit or miss, so I was so glad that I was able to find a few clothing items to take home with me. I am definitely a loyal customer.

So excited to have found this place as well! It’s super cute with awesome trinkets inside. There is a great selection of clothing and cute finds. I found a really cute Free People red lace sweetheart dress for $ 15 but sadly it wasn’t my size.
Mainly I stopped by to try to sell, and they bought a bit more than other places like Buffalo Exchange or Crossroads usually do from me. I think that’s probably because the store fits my style more :)
I’ll be back. They also are very considerate and thoroughly talk about each piece and aren’t rude… like some other places.

This place is cute, but super overpriced.

This place is great! Selection changes pretty frequently and I always find something I want to buy! The shoes here are great-​a huge variety of styles and cheap prices. Highly recommend hitting up this place for second hand clothes

I love their new location, the employees are super friendly and the space is bigger (although it looks like there’s less clothes to look through). I’ve gotten some of my favorite pieces from this store (look hard for bargains!). My last visit which was only meant for selling, I got a pair of boots that I’ve worn almost every day since I got them last week.
In terms of selling here, they are way less picky than Buffalo Exchange and Plato’s Closet, AND they pay more. They bought 52 items from us for $ 192, compared to 64 items for $ 140 at Plato’s. We were super happy to get rid of a lot here. Next time, we won’t make the mistake of going anywhere else first and just come straight here.

I am so happy I found this place! I was reading reviews on places that are similar to Dee Lux and they weren’t the greatest and a few people recommended Dee Lux, so I thought I should give it a try.
I have moved and realized I had way to many clothes and purses that I needed to get rid of, so I decided to visit Dee Lux today and walked out with a little over $ 100.00 and I was happy. I had a few pairs of high end denim, leather jacket and coach handbag that I wasn’t trying to make a ton of money on, just wanted to free up some space in my closet.
I wish I would’ve gotten the young gals name that helped me, she was very friendly and provided great customer service. I will definitely return with a few more bags of clothes and shoes I need to get rid of.
So if you have items you need to get rid of and they are up to date and on trend for the current season you can make a few extra bucks. Just don’t go in thinking you will walk out rich… LOL! If the items are sitting in your closet collecting dust, why not go to Dee Lux and make a few extra bucks!

OKAY, I can’t believe this location moved! I moved from California to Montana about a year ago and have gone back home a few times, but obviously not enough to not know that this location moved (!!!). I haven’t even gotten to experience the awesomeness of all of the downtown santa ana promenade which I’m assuming is all done.
I was going to write a review for deelux and on the original page it had said it moved so that was what brought me to this page. Let me just begin by saying, I adore Deelux. Why there hasn’t been more made besides one or two I have no idea. I think they would do amazing, especially where I live now. If anyone wants to contact me about this I can jump on the bandwagon about it because demographic wise even though the population isn’t as insane as California, Deelux would kill it in Montana and a ton of other states and cities.
This is where I have gotten most of my clothes while living in California. It was right by my house and they buy way more than most of the Buffalo Exchanges and Crossroads in the area. They also give you more money for your items, are faster, fairer, and if they aren’t buying at the time they don’t advertise for it. Most of the time they can always afford to be buying because the items they buy are amazing and so they fly off the shelves. I have found so many unique items at Deelux.
You could spend a day in this store I swear. Depending how intense your addiction is to sales, deals, thrifting and shopping. For me my intensity level is high so this place is a haven for me. They are clean and don’t overstock their shelves. The prices are great and they also sell certain items in bulk that they get in that aren’t previously owned pretty sure. These items are typically tennis shoes or just random things like that mostly. Most of the time there is such a large selection of them that you can kind of pick up on it. They are quick while going through your items so you don’t end up resentful feeling like you spent your whole day just to be told that «they aren’t taking anything new right now». Trust me I have gone through that way too many times.

Oh Em gee this place is awesome! The girls that work here are so nice and they’re willing to help you out with anything, including the things that are in the cases, too. I really loved what they had in this store. I have been looking for vintage glasses and a skirt. Guess what?! I found it here. I love this spot and I can’t wait to go back.

Great store! Friendly staff! Pricing is very affordable! Very clean and organized. Easy to find garments in the right size too.

Love this location it’s more specious in a way? Lol I feel like it’s just had more room due to having to walk up these little stairs. I love deelux their prices are really reasonable and when you’re selling they aren’t as picky as buffalo exchange. The staff here are super chill parking kinda sucks but if you’re lucky you can find in right in front of the store just be careful getting out.

This place is great, very excited to see the new location! I generally find more unique items here than at Buffalo. Prices are cheap but then again you’ll also find lots of Forever 21 and h&m mixed in. I wish they would buy more of what I bring in since I always dig myself into a hole and find a ton of stuff I want to buy! Good selection of sizes too

Today was my first time visiting this small establishment. I had been looking for a vintage clothing shop for quite some time and had been told about Dee Lux by my parents. They know me too well!
Everything about my visit was absolutely superb. The girls working there were very friendly. They helped me and were very happy to answer any questions that I might have had. The clothing selection was a tad bit small, but that’s just because this store is new. The vintage clothing was also a bit pricey. Everything else was reasonably priced.
Overall, I would definitely recommend this store to anyone who loves clothing. They have something for everyone here.

Hooray new location!
The new store is definitely a lot more spacious which is great for the plethora of great clothing, accessories, and little knick-​knacks they sell. The staff was ever so friendly as always.
I came in kind of last minute so I unfortunately did not have as much time as I hoped for to check everything out and try on everything I had found interest in but I still left with about 5 things for all under $ 50! So I’m happy. I will most likely be returning again tomorrow though to finish scoping out the place and get some more goods.
As of now, the only down side is parking. You have to drive around a little to find free parking or ones with the parking meters. There are lots for $ 3 parking close by but ain’t nobody got time for that.
