Out of bread for a club sandwich. $ 19 for a turkey sandwich, coke and chips. F U. Thanks for taking advantage of us. I’ll go to subway and get a better sandwich at half the price.

This price is plain crappy. Veg sandwich with mozzarella was toasted…(what)? And was $ 14! Add in water and chips… u are robbed off $ 24. Tasted terrible too. This has too be the worst place in John Wayne.

Still trying to eat as I write this review. The turkey sandwich is like cardboard. This place is completely over priced in the sandwich is just half the size I thought it would be for the price that they charge the staff is absolutely brain dead they had no clue what the sandwiches were and couldn’t explain the menu and it took about a few minutes just even have someone take the order with no one else in line

If you decide to order food here, you might as well bend over and get it over with. I was in a hurry and didn’t have a chance to look up Unilocal as my plane was boarding and I was starving. Usually, when I have enough time, I walk all the way over to Javi’s in Terminal C. However, on this occasion, I had no choice and needed to take something to go. I didn’t want greasy McDonald’s food so I opted for a salad. Yes, this place is a total rip off and they don’t give you salad dressing unless you ask. In hindsight, I’m glad that I didn’t ask for dressing. I could have gotten sick. My Cobb salad wasn’t bad nor was it great, it was just expensive. I don’t actually think the food is culinary or artistic in any way shape or form. They obviously figured out a way to get suckers by having a catchy name and decorate the establishment like a «farm to fork» sort of motif. That’s how they get you. If there’s one place which deserves to go out of business, THISISTHEPLACE!

Has the county health inspected recently; just wondering? I bought a ham and cheese sandwich on Oct 2nd for $ 8.99, had it wrapped in foil to take on the plane. Opened it up, took a bite and looked at the ham, ugh; it’s brown, as in discolored /old. The brown part of the ham was only on the exposed meat(not covered by the hard sourdough bread). Thought about cutting out the brown part but wanted to play it safe on the plane. Being food sick is one thing, but being sick on a plane is an added level of distress! Lucky for me 1 bite didn’t give me any problems. Talk about gouging, $ 4.99 for the smallest bottle of «Smart Water»; the water worked I got smarter after I realized I got swindled. Total bill for 1 bite of an old sandwich and small bottle of water, $ 15.10! There are other choices at this airport, spend your money anywhere other than Farmer Market Laguna.

Before my flight to Dallas I wanted to grab a quick bite to eat. I was looking for healthier options and decided on Farmers Market which is located by Gate 7. When I think of Farmers Market I automatically think«fresh», what I got wasn’t exactly fresh. Walking up to the counter you’ll see already made salads, sandwiches, and wraps. I was expecting for the food to be made to order, but that wasn’t the case. I was there later in the afternoon so the selection was very limited. I asked if any new items would be made and brought out, but they said no. I decided on the Turkey Wrap. The Turkey Wrap included dry shredded turkey, with a few tasteless salad greens, topped off with some dressing wrapped in a wheat tortilla. The wrap was $ 11.99. Not the best wrap I’ve had, that’s for sure. If the food was made to order with fresher ingredients, I see this restaurant becoming fairly popular since there are very few if any healthy eateries at the airport. Until then, I probably won’t come back for the mediocre food and my search for healthy eats at the airport continue.

Wow. $ 15 for a pre-packaged cobb salad. And getting some blue cheese dressing was a major special request, something that they had to go find. They only offered ranch and lemon vinaigrette(or some such thing). I have to say that the salad was good for a pre-packaged salad. But not $ 15 good.

There’s a lot of ridiculousness that goes on at airports. There’s a lot of ridiculousness that goes on at high-end restaurants. There’s a lot of ridiculousness that goes on in Orange County. Combine all three and you get Farmer’s Market by Laguna Culinary Arts. Maybe I’m being punished for ruining the environment by flying, but if you’re punishing me by overcharging me, can I at least enjoy the food I’m eating? It’s gross. They may have been farmer’s-market fresh at one point, but everything is so expensive that these ingredients probably hang around and hang around and hang around. So they’re not fresh anymore. I’ve eaten a lot of bad, expensive airport food, but this was definitely the most expensive ever. The service could also be much better.

I recommend the BLT. It is so big two people can share(and for $ 12 not a bad price for 2 people) and it was really fresh — made to order. I really liked the type of bread used, the sandwich wasn’t soggy, saw the turkey being sliced fresh and loved they put plenty of avocado. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The only thing I would recommend is not to get beverages or chips here as those are really expensive — just under $ 5.

Airport food can be bad. This is as bad as it gets. Even the coffee was awful. The prices are high, food Sub par. Never again.

If you like insane prices and stale pastries this is your place! $ 3+ for a diet coke? Forget that. The $ 4 croissant was old and hard. Not cool.

It’s kind of refreshing to go to an airport and see concessions that go beyond the normal blur of McCafe’s, Famous Famiglia’s, Starbucks, Ruby’s and CPK’s. I like the chalkboard menu and delicatessen layout of this place. It’s appealing and grants you a sense of all that is fresh and healthy. However, that’s about all it has to offer. I requested the Caprese sandwich only to be told that they had no fresh mozzarella. I opted for the egg whites with spinach and feta cheese which is an eye-popping, nearly $ 12 for a big scoop of egg whites with spinach on two halves of an English muffin. Couldn’t taste any cheese, but I guess it was OK as a protein and iron boost to get me on my way back home. It’s probably one of the healthiest items you can find at an airport without purchasing a piece of fruit as breakfast. It would go for a 3. I’m marking it down because I did get what I ordered and it was pretty hot and fresh, but at an unconscionable price.

Please no one go here so it can shut down and something worthwhile can replace it! The pre-made salads were horrible! Greens, pecans and blue cheese? No protein? That will fill you up for a minute, prices were outrageous! The«culinary» in the name is misleading! I left immediately and got food at a normal place!

Got the tri tip steak sandwich for $ 15.99. I figured it had to be good because of the price! Boy was I wrong! The meat was very fatty and appeared raw. The girl preparing it tried to heat it up and cut it in half but was very unsuccessful! I took one bite and was very offended by the taste! Do not eat at this over priced crap hole!!!

This is a review of the Farmers Market by Laguna Culinary Arts at the John Wayne Airport. I expect to be gouged a little at the airport especially a place with«culinary arts» tacked on to um. Farmers Market? But $ 8 for 10oz of yogurt, blueberry’s, strawberry slices and some granola? That’s Outrageous!
