Whoa! Talk about rude! Decided to purchase moon cakes recently from Heartland in Santa Ana because I was looking for moon cakes that were not made with lard. I placed my order over the phone and went to pick them up. I arrived around 9:30am and the door was open, so I walked in and a woman working there told me that she would be right with me and to just browse in the meantime. That was fine. Later, this woman apologized for making me wait, but then another woman (I’m assuming this other woman was either the owner or manager) barked to me that she should not have apologized to me because I walked in before opening. I guess they opened at 10:00am, but I had no idea because 1) opening/​closing hours were not posted and 2) the door was open (left open, not just unlocked). When I told the manager/​owner that I didn’t know, she proceeded to tell me that «well, all our customers KNOW that we open at 10am.» In addition to this rudeness, my order was not ready and I had to wait while they placed individual mooncakes into boxes for me. The moon cakes themselves were fine, but after this poor customer service experience, I will not be coming back. Ever.
