I would honestly give negative stars if I could. We had my daughters initial molds and inserts done there because that’s where our insurance referred us. They quoted me a price for ensoles but we didn’t purchase them at that time. I called them a couple months later to get the ensoles and was again quoted the same price as before. I went in and dropped off the molds and paid. The next day I received a call saying the price has increased to 4 times what they quoted and charged me. I was speechless asked how they could do that, the lady said there’s nothing she can do about it. I asked to have their «president» call me since they said it was his call. Well Kevin sure called me and told me he «doesn’t care» and I have to pay the new quadruple amount!!! I told him no thanks and that I will go pick up the molds. Absolutely disappointing how they treat their customers. They were however happy to tell me to come in once a year for molds/​inserts whether my daughter needed them or not since insurance would cover the cost. Apparently they think they can treat people this way since they are the only ones around here. Well all they did was increase the business of another lab, might be a little further but this place isn’t getting any of my business.

I’m seriously shocked that there are any decent reviews for this place. I got my orthotics here a few years ago and while they seemingly worked well initially, my arch has not improved in the least and I’ve found that my feet have actually been more prone to injury since I started wearing them. The orthotics sit really high, so your toes are almost bursting through the shoes. This has caused my toes to rub together, which has led to quite a bit of blistering… and it has also made my big toenails ingrown because the fit of my shoes have become so tight.
On top of that, the customer service is just beyond awful. I come in almost annually to get my orthotics repaired because the top layers get worn down super easily and/​or to get them readjusted, but they charge me a fee everytime and they’re always super unhelpful. The entire staff acts like they don’t want to be there, nor do they want to help in the least. And… now that I realize my orthotics have caused me so much grief rather than helped me with my arch issues… I don’t think I’ll be coming back here to get them adjusted again. At this point, I’ll just call it a loss… and start over with a new mold and new orthotics elsewhere. Ugh. What a waste!!!

Have come here for years to have built-​up sole put in my son’s shoes. Lab has always bragged about their «Lifetime Warranty.»
A little over a year ago, we took in a pair of work shoes that cost $ 125, and had the layer installed as usual. Now the layer is separating out, so we took in the shoe to have it re-​glued and was told that they sent it out to be done, so the guarantee doesn’t apply. They gave us a business card to the whoever they hired to put in this layer.
Of course we don’t have any records indicating Image Orthopedic sent the shoe to them, and anyway, we didn’t pay the other place, we paid Image Orthopedic for this shoddy work.
I have no idea why you would treat a customer like this after 7 or 8 years, especially when you know that customer is going to be buying an orthopedic build-​up for the rest of his life. We will not be returning our business to this faithless establishment.

I had similar experience like Mark except I will give them credit the comfort was fine. several months of not getting simple dr’s orders directions right + several long distance trips taking up time + rude service= They lost my business. I though Image was the only company left in the area. However I found a different alternative-​California Orthopedic Lab in Signal Hill because I was stressed and tired with Image. The owner was helpful and open M– F plus every other Sat. California Orthopedic Lab refurbish not just recover in which the orthotics is readjusted with your molds to the original shape. I found out California Orthopedic Lab does orthotics for celebs.
Hopefully this other company will be better.

I have horrible feet! My Podiatrist referred me to this place. I had my orthotics made and they work wonders! I had anssue with my hip that my PT said looked like my pelvis was uneven due to a flat foot, so back I went and explained my problem to Rick, who gave me heel lifts of varying thicknesses to take and experiment with to find the «magic thickness» I needed to compensate for the uneven pelvis. As soon as I found the thickness that worked, my hip and knee stopped hurting. Great place and Rick really knows everything about orthotics, listens to your concerns, and will adjust your orthotics until your feet are happy!

Great people. Very knowledgeable. The appearance is rough but they really are good. Affordable.

Custom insoles great idea. Once you have them dialed in your ok. Everytime I have had to have them recovered, its like going through the setup process all over again. This last recover I have made four trips, quarter tank of gas and 6 hours of time. Maybe they will come out comfy this time. Maybe there are alternatives?
UPDATE: have given up on trying their product. They can’t get it right. My feet hurt less with standard insoles. I don’t know what happened. They fit perfect and I took them in for new covers and got back insoles of PAIN.

Skip the visit to the Podiatrist, come straight here and save yourself $$. Rick is the man who the Podiatrists come to. He knows his stuff and an overall pleasant guy along with the rest of the staff. Took care of my feet affordably and quickly, I’m happy.

Love this place my feet hurt all the time before I came here! They made soles for my shoes and they adjust them for free. I recommend this place they rock. You only have one set of feet you can trust them to take good care of them.

I bought some orthotics from Image a few months ago. I went in for the foot casting and the whole deal. After about a week, they had my orthotics ready to go. They fit my shoes nicely and did improve comfort.
I have plantar faciitis that is pretty painful at times. The orthotics do seem to help although they did not magically take all my pain away.
I wanted to get a second pair so I can alternate use. I stopped by and they asked if I had any issues with my current pair. I told them what I was feeling and they made notes for the new pair. Also, they took my current pair and made modifications that seem to help even more.
The front desk person can be a bit surly, but overall, Image has good service. Orthotics are expensive, so be prepared to shell out some cash.

I went in to have my orthotics adjusted for a larger pair of running shoes and Rick was super nice! He made them look like new again and fit them to the new shoes. The service was quick, I went to run some errands while he worked on them, came back in a bit and they were ready. I was on my way and there was no charge. The woman at the front desk was very friendly as well. Now that’s service, glad I found them.
