My mother loves her kitchen. It came just how she wanted it. I recommend this company, they do a great job. Claudia was a great help communicating with my parents about any schedule changes which happened only a few times. In less than two weeks they completed the whole project and even checked out that everything was working properly before installing and after.

I found Alpha Remodel through a good friend who used her services for an addition. I hired Jeanine for a remodel of my kitchen and master bathroom. I would like to point out that it was my first home and I had absolutely no idea about remodeling and frankly I was scared I would overspend because of this. Jeanine came to my home and met with my father and I for a quote and explained every step in detail– I was comfortable with her and the price was reasonable for the amount of work. I was impressed at the quality of the work and most importantly that it was completed on time even though I had some last minute changes. my home looks amazing and it definitely bumped up the value of my home.
I am pleased with how it all turned out and will definitely keep her in mind for my next fixer upper.

First of all, I should have been a better Unilocaler and read more into their existing «positive» reviews: almost half of them are from reviewers with fewer than 5 or so reviews. RED FLAG. I’m not saying that they’re not genuine, but just that it’s suspicious.
Second of all, as far as I know, there is only one person with a contractor’s license (Jeanine) and the only time I saw her was to sign a 10-​page long legal contract for the job and to give her my deposit. She never bothered to visit the site or check in after that. Her representative, Jay, was in once a day for about 5 minutes each time to collect the next payment– frankly, he seemed more interested in adding on fees than in checking on our status. Extra fees like «Um this extra part looks like 3 more hours, so I may need to charge you» — ridiculous, almost random items he would add on to make a few extra hundred bucks. His job appears to be primarily as a nickel and dimer, and he is good at it.
Third, the job was completed 100% by subcontractors, some of whom spoke little English and ALL of whom worked unsupervised virtually the entire time. I’m also positive ALL of the workers were not direct employees, nor were they licensed. I know it’s true because I asked them. It’s ridiculous that Jeanine requires a 10-​page contract to protect HER rights against clients who don’t pay up, but feels it’s just great to leave her subcontractors with no support to do the job. Some of the workers were first-​time workers, and had no idea what was going on. Another told me they avoid working with Jay because he’s inconsistent with paying them on time.
Finally, the work itself was OKAY. Hence, the one star. Some of the subcontractors were quite talented and good, and others were clueless– it shows in the quality of the work they completed for us. Note that I’m purposely being vague about my project because I want nothing to do with these people again, nor do I wish to be contacted by them.
What was also VERY annoying was that the more skilled workers were called out by Jay midday several times to work on other projects elsewhere– meaning our project was delayed and took WAY LONGER than projected. They would say ludicrous things like they had to pick up supplies from Home Depot. For 2 – 3 hours? When it is just a few minutes away? Huh? Obviously, Jeanine and Jay are stretching out their subcontractors in as many locations as possible to make money off of them and lying to clients.
In summary, AVOID this company– they are shady, and any cost-​savings from their quotes will be lost dealing with unlicensed, unsupported, and untrained workers, and worst of all: shoddy workmanship!

With all due respect, the reply was a feel-​good reply that didn’t address concerns about unsupervised/​unsupported workers, length of time and quality of work. I stand by my original comment: the work was mediocre, at best. I didn’t say it was unsafe, so why the big focus on «call the board» and «call the city,» I don’t know. The glue around the edges of my stairs are peeling, and every third steps pops and creaks– a fun reminder at night when I don’t want to wake the dog. Is it safe? Most likely. Is it high quality work? Definitely not.

We hired ALPHA Remodel and Construction Co. last December, 2015. The staff was very supportive and answered all of our questions. The crew did a remarkable job of our bathroom downstairs. The work was completed on time and price was reasonable. My wife and I felt very comfortable with the entire process of the remodeling. Luis and his partner did an outstanding job. Both workers did a great job. I highly recommend them.

We hired ALPHA Remodel & Construction Co and Jeanine to remodel our kitchen and we love our new setup. Jeanine is open and responsive to input from her clients during all stages of the project. She is always there with follow-​up. She is honest and reliable, with ethics that are unquestionable. As with any construction or remodel there can be hiccups that are unexpected but with Jeanine you can rest assured that she will provide solutions, fix the problem and get the results you desire. It is hard to find somebody these days that holds such high standards of professionalism and integrity. We would recommend this company to anyone interested in having construction or remodeling done. We will definitely work with her again.

Alpha Remodel did an excellent job at changing my countertops in my kitchen and bathrooms. Jeanine the owner helped us pick out the colors. Her crew was very professional and helpful. I was always able to get hold of someone at the office when something came up.
Jeanine is amazing, friendly and very professional– she responds quickly to any problems or concerns you might have, day or night! She even sent one of her guys 6 months later to fix something that I had a concern about.

This is one of best construction company I have dealt with, Adam the project manager is very courteous and is willing to work with you with your budget. We did title floor and bathroom remodel and job turned out to beyond exceptional. The project was completed on time and on budget and installers who installed the title work on the project worked non stop for 10 hours daily. I’m questioning their qualifications, please forward the copies I’ve requested and in return, I will supply you with an invoice, which as you know, the invoice will reflect a revised reimbursement of 341.77. Please complete your responsibility, as noted above and I will gladly supply you with the information you’re requesting.

This is the best remodeling/​construction company I’ve ever encountered and I’ve encountered many! The president of the company is more than willing to work with the customers and is extremely knowledgeable and helpful. The complete staff are trustworthy and very professional. If you’re looking to do some changes on a home look no further you’ve come to the right place.

I chose Alpha Remodel to do both my kitchen and master bath, and I couldn’t be any happier. I worked with both Jeanine and Adam, from the first day she came to my home to measure then visiting the showroom they were both very helpful in choosing the material and going over the scope of work. They both made it such a easy experience because I have to say I have no sense of design.
Their workers were nice, polite and professionals at what they do. I am in love with my NEW kitchen and master. I know I made the right decision choosing them. They were always reachable if Jeanine couldn’t get back to me I would get a call back from Adam or the office.
They are both nice people and hard workers, they take pride in what they do to the last final detail.
Overall it’s been a pleasure dealing with both of them. I’m glad I finally got the courage to renovate my home.

Last year, my husband and I hired Alpha to remodel our master bathroom. Compared to other contractors, their prices were fair and we loved that we were able to pick all of the materials from the showroom floor. You don’t have to use their materials but they have a good selection to choose from. After discussing our ideas, they created a computer generated visual of our design which was really helpful.
Janine spent a great deal of time with us on our design and was very thorough in documenting all the details so that nothing was missed. It was obvious to us from the moment we began discussing the details she was truly an expert and knew how to translate our ideas into reality, all within our budget.
The men that performed the work were very respectful and professional. They covered our floors with a roll of heavy paper to avoid tracking dust/​dirt on our floors. Also, they covered our bedroom furniture and kept the door closed while they worked so dust wasn’t flying all around the house. They came to our house everyday, on time, until the job was complete. The few times we had questions, we were always able to get a hold of Janine quickly. The bathroom turned out beautiful and exactly how we wanted it.
Last week my drawer came off the track and we couldn’t get it back on. I emailed Janine and without hesitation, she scheduled a time to send someone out to fix it. Now that’s what I call excellent customer service! We are going to be remodeling our kitchen next and will be hiring Alpha Remodel again because they do a great job in all aspects of the project from start to finish and at a reasonable price.

HOME OWNERS: AVOID WORKING WITH THIS COMPANY AS YOUR HOME WILL TURN TO A CONSTRUCTION ZONE AND HASSLE OF DEALING WITH INEXPERIENCED CREW!
Despite of other warnings by other members of Unilocal,we had this company to upgrade our 2 bathrooms. The experience by itself was horrifying! Below are the reasons that you should avoid working with Alpha remodel:
1) The owner Jeanine AL Melik has the anger issue. if you ever question her for anything, will be confronted and the job will be delayed. The second day. or project, she got into argument with her crew and all of her crew members walk away from the job. She had to get in brand new crew two days thereafter!
2) This company is 100% employee run! She only shows up when she needs to pick up a check from you. She never effectively managed her crew throughout the project.
3) it took over 6 weeks to complete the remodeling of 2 bathrooms. The crew showed up to work late every single day (or no show) and unprepared. The crew took off 2 to 3 hours every time they had to run to Home Depot. They frequently picked up the wrong parts. My wife and I were stranded in our own house for weeks.
4) You can never asked them for their opinion because they don’t have one and they just trying to cut corners.
5) They damaged our brand new vanity in the master bathroom. It took them 8 – 10 extra days to reinstall the damaged parts.
It is impossible for me to address everything here. I am just trying to warn you what’s on your way if you ever decide to hire them. We where planning to do a few more upgrades. We would definitely go with a qualified company who cares for their costumers, NOT WITH ALPHA REMODEL.
Please make sure you do your homework before hiring a construction company. Best of luck to all homeowners.

Alpha Remodel did the complete remodel of our condo. New Kitchen, 3 baths, new wood floors, appliances… everything. The project took about 2.5 months. Overall, I can say that the work was done well. Yes, there were glitches along the way, which I’ve learned is normal in any remodel, but the photos tell the story. Nice looking new home! Jeanine is very sincere and easy to work with. My only suggestion is that she personally be at the site more than she was. And like all remodels, make sure the subcontractors do not cut corners. We caught that in a couple of instances, but Jeanine made sure it all got corrected, so cudos to her. Do I recommend Alpha? Let the photos in this review speak for themselves. Beat

Jeanine at Alpha remodel did my remodel. She gave me a quote on Friday and commenced work the following Wednesday. She was incredibly attentive and responsive to my needs. Her crew was on time and professional. I’ve since hired Alpha to do another project and am having another great experience. I highly recommend Alpha Remodel as their work is quick, clean and efficient.

After running around «planet» Southern California trying to find a contractor I settled here with Adam and Jeanine. And You should too…
First off let me say, people don’t review unless they have a complaint, so yah — take this Unilocal stuff with a grain of salt and do your own investigation, it’s what I did, and I couldn’t be happier.
Adam and Jeanine made me feel comfortable the moment we met and started talking about my remodel. We remodeled my Kitchen and both up/​downstairs bathrooms. And now I’m planning a remodel at my other property and Mother-​In-​Laws house very soon with Alpha Remodel and Construction.
Not only did they have more choices and colors than other contractors I’ve worked with in the past, but, they talked me into changing my original design I had in mind (and trust me I («my wife») was stuck on «my» design). The modified design they had for my bathrooms and kitchen makes the space so much more usable. Thanks Guys!
Anyways, in the end they took 2 weeks longer than expected, but, the work that was done 5 star! The finish 5 star. The crew 5 star! Extremely Smooth «transaction» at an amazing Price. It’s hard to be mean to a crew that does work like this and helps create living spaces that look like a million dollars. So I’m here to leave a good comment! As soon as possible I’ll have pictures uploaded. Look No further. At least call them and have a conversation with them, like I said, «do your own investigation». Good Luck.

Cheap, but you get what you pay for. Bad communication after work began. Our house was a construction for weeks with no one showing up to do work. The tile work in our bathroom looked like a first timer did it. Not the worst I have ever seen but not good. Big grout lines and cooked tiles.
To be fair, Alpha was much cheaper than other quotes we had received so I guess you can’t expect 5 star work at a 3 star price.

Called for appointment and book for Friday. Than got called the day before Friday to tell me what day i want for estimate and totally forgot about the schedule. I thought might be miss understanding on my side so i schedule with them for Monday. Monday rolls around and haven’t seen anyone called at 5:30pm. I called 3 times to ask if their contractor be coming or not with no prevail. I give them 1 star for answering the phone but nothing more.
