History

Established in 2006.

Mr. Hernández clerked at various law firms and public entities both as an undergraduate and as a law student including being a law clerk at the Orange County District Attorney’s Office. Mr. Hernández worked as an associate attorney for the first six years of his career before establishing the Law Office of José Alfredo Hernández, A Professional Corporation in December of 2006.

He is admitted to practice in all California State Courts, The Ninth Circuit Courts of Appeal, the United States District Court in the Central and Southern Districts of California. He is a member of the Orange County Bar Association, the Hispanic Bar Association and the American Immigration Lawyer’s Association.

Business Owner

José Alfredo Hernández completed the first two years of his bachelor’s degree at the University of California at Santa Barbara (UCSB), before transferring and earning his bachelor’s degree in History from the University of California at Los Angeles (UCLA) in 1997. He graduated from Whittier Law School with his Juris Doctorate in 2000. At Whittier, he served as a member of the Whittier Law School Trial Advocacy Honors Board and was a Fellow at the Center for Children’s Rights.
