Maru’s Maids

I found Maru on Unilocal after my original cleaners no showed. She was good in squeezing me in for the day, I was very thankful for that. Her price was high– the highest quote I received from a series of interviews with other cleaners. She had a crew of 3 including herself work on my house for several hours. Some areas were cleaned better than others. For example: bathroom was nice and clean but there were large crumbs still left on the kitchen rug and dust on some large furniture.
I wouldn’t use them again for the price and mediocre job but appreciated them coming over to clean on such short notice.

Just got a free estimate and we agreed on the price. They cleaned my home and all my requirements are met. I’ll recommend them to all my friends and neighbors. Thank you Maru and team!

We talked on the phone and agreed on a date and time. We texted to verify the date and time as well. They were a no show. I’ve used them once before and they were late.

In my experience with different cleaners I would rate them the best. I am 100% satisfied with their work

I called Maru’s Maids early this morning as I was in need of getting my kitchen and bathroom cleaned. I got a call back from Fernando about an hour later. I needed someone to come today as I am hosting guests tomorrow, and so I asked if they could come this afternoon knowing it was a long shot. At first, Fernando said he could come Monday at the earliest, but ended up calling me back shortly thereafter since I assume they had something open up. Fernando and Maru showed up to check out the job and were both very kind and friendly. They ran out to get some supplies once they had time to scope out the mess, and returned with another person. All three were very friendly and did an amazing job on the bathroom and kitchen! I would highly recommend Maru if you are in need of a cleaning service. I will definitely be using them again when I have my next cleaning crisis!

Decent cleaning but not the best. I expected much more due to the reviews. We hired her for a deep cleaning service. Admittedly, I am very meticulous and detailed when it comes to cleaning, especially when we pay hundreds of dollars for it! I would say the cleaning was average and not what I expected. If you are a «neat freak» don’t expect much because they are not detailed and leave many things undone and not cleaned.
I was also very disappointed by Maru’s poor attitude with my mother. It appears the work took longer than she expected and she became increasingly stressed. My guess is that they had another job to get to and wanted to finish the work as quick as possible rather than focusing on quality. Maru became very snappy and rude towards my mom. Needless to say, I will never use her service again. I was horrified that she behaved this way because I hired a cleaning service as a gift for my mom, instead she was disrespected. We are extremely disappointed. I would definitely Not recommend the service due to this unprofessional and disrespful behavior.
To be fair, the individuals that assisted Maru, Fernando and another woman, were very nice and respectful. They were professional the entire time and seemed to handle the stress in a much more professional manner.
I also free with other Unilocalers that time management is an issue with this company.
I really hate that we had a poor experience and am sorry to have to write about this. However, I am hoping that in seeing this review Maru recognizes that she needs to work on her professionalism and respect with all members of the family in the home. I also hope that this doesn’t happen to another family.

Maru does an amazing job. I am EXTREMELY particular and do most of my own cleaning but circumstances lend themselves that sometimes I have to be gone for extended periods of time so I am in need of occasional… regular cleans. While her cleaning is fantastic she is also extremely accommodating and works with my schedule and my needs. I would give more than five stars if possible!

After staying at a girl friends house for a few months, I decided to get her house deep cleaned before moving out– she’s out of town frequently and let’s just say… she had a roommate who was an absolute rat. And I mean that quite literally. Gross.
Needless to say, the cleaning was overdue. I called and Maru returned my call within a few hours. We made an appointment for a couple of weeks out on a Saturday. Maru confirmed the address and time via text– easy peezy!
The cleaning was GREAT and amazingly thorough, as every piece of furniture was moved and flipped to wipe down. Seriously, the place went from basement status to princess castle. Maru and her team were there for 4 hours and did a fantastic job. God knows I didn’t want to do it. Slightly on the expensive side, but definitely worth it.
And off topic, but yes the rat has moved out (and on. RIP) so hopefully the place will stay so fresh and so clean clean.

1^st time using a cleaning service, Maru was extremely friendly and polite. I am amazed and so happy with Maru and her staff Fernando and the other gentleman (forgot his name) sorry.
I needed a deep cleaning of my kitchen and bathroom and the place looks better than when I moved in. It smells phenomenal and looks like a brand new place. Will be using her her company from now on and I will recommend to all my coworkers and friends! Thank you Maru!

I have been using Maru’s maids to take care of my vacation rental property. They stick to their word and consistently do a quality job. They have done at least 20 or more jobs for me and I plan on using them far into the future.

As a real estate agent I need cleaners that really get in there and do a great job so clients and tenants are satisfied upon move-​in. So far I’ve used Maru’s Maids about 4 times and have been greatly satisfied each of those times and no complaints from new tenants. They also communicate well and have a genuine desire to make their customers happy. I reluctantly write this review knowing that it may make them busier and busier and make it harder for me to get them scheduled, but they deserve the praise for their hard work.

Maru and her cleaning crew came and cleaned my house today, and I have to say there is no other cleaning service that does as great of a job as she does. She is very detailed and professional. They did an amazing job. The work looks expectacular and everything looks super clean. Thank you maru for leaving my house spotless.

2^nd time using Maru. She’s very sweet and she and her crew always do an amazing job.
She is a bit more expensive than some of the other cleaning services BUT she’s worth every penny. I’m going to have her on a recurring basis.

Maru and her team were very detailed in their work. My apartment was so squeaky clean I could not stop smiling!

Found Maru maids off Unilocal and glad I did. These people are very meticulous and make sure everything is spotless. They also try their hardest to fit you into their schedule even if it is last minute which I appreciate a lot. I would definitely recommend trying them out.

I was in a pinch and needed my house cleaned and Maru came through. She and her crew came in and did a wonderful job cleaning quickly with great detail and my place looked completely different.

Maru and her crew do an EXCELLENT job cleaning my house! I called them on Thursday and she was at my house the next morning at 830 ready to clean! She was affordable too! I am definitely going to have them clean my house again!

The call I made to Maru Maid Service was about 3 months ago and was well worth it. They always are neat and polite. My house is 11,000 sqft and they clean it spotless. I like the fact that they are very professional. Whenever I ask for something special like cleaning the the cabinets, it’s done like I would do it myself. The best quality they have in my opinion is that they clean my home the way I ask everytime. After many horrible experiences, I have FINALLY found a company who I can trust in my home and clean it without me being there. They are super honest people making an honest living.

They transformed my two bedroom into a sanctuary in a matter of 2 hours!!! For that I am very thankful. The lowdown:
(1) very professional — they were at work nonstop throughout the afternoon;
(2) detail oriented — they cleaned every nook and even dusted HVAC; my apartment was so clean when they were done that it it smelled like a pristine flower garden
(3) bang for the buck — I paid what felt like a token amount for the work they did
I liked them so much we had a round of beer and tequila after! Great people!
