Another amazing job by the crew at PepBoys in Santa Ana, CA. Ask for Francisco he treats everyone like a friend. Had the coolant container replaced.

Avoid at all cost!
I came in for a routine oil change and tire rotation. I am now sitting at a different location, one week later, where they are once again replacing my oil after the previous mechanic, Librado, at this Santa Ana location, inserted the oil filter incorrect. During my visit Librado, also had difficulties performing a simple tire rotation, not knowing where to rotate the tires to, and skipping the courtesy vehicle inspection. I now also have to pay my landlord to have my parking stall cleaned, from all the oil spilled.

Francisco was of great help checking my tires today! He even gave me his air pressure gauge to check the pressures for my tires in the future

Believe it or not this Pep boys store is my source for some of OEM BMW parts for my car and each time I visit this store I leave as a very happy customer! Elena and Martin are very professional and friendly! Great job!

Jesus smiled as I entered the store and asked what I was looking for then told me on what aisle to find the wiper blades. He was the cashier working at around Noon. Fancy smancy wiper blades I saw advertised on TV from RainX that are supposed to help make all this rain we’ve been experiencing as of late sheet off of the windshield after using them. All I know is I couldn’t stand that rubbery scraping sound on the passenger side anymore, so I thought I’d give these high tech things a try. Found them in stock and in the two different sizes I needed, too.
And then after completing my purchase, Jesus informed me that the service center would be happy to help install the wipers… for free. It’s a service Pep Boys always provides it’s customers.

Do not come to this Pepboys. I waited for an hour and they still didn’t help me. All the workers were on their cellphones and didn’t care about helping their customers. One of the female workers also talked back to me. I wouldn’t even give it one star but I had to on this. Never coming again. You guys suck.

Thank god for people like Francisco at the service desk he helped me with everything I needed great price this is my one stop shop Francisco I can’t thank you enough! I’m telling everybody to come by that has an issue With there car greatest service I have dealt with by far!

Very friendly service! Francisco is THE MAN. Went above and beyond to take care of me as a customer! Made me aware of coupons online and signed me up as a member to ensure I got more discounts and coupons. Love a deal.

Francisco was extremely helpful! I pulled up in there and he stepped in right away to help me with my battery trouble… i would definitely go back to him for all my car issues :) i only waited about 20min and was out of there with a brand new battery!

Fast work, not complains, Francisco is very helpfull. would recommend in sundays in the morning when is not busy.

Pep Boy’s does everything for less? Ehhh, Methinks not!
I should have checked Unilocal first. Out of all the other Pep Boys this one has a low star rating.
I went in with simple repairs a new starter, 2 new wheels and an oil change for on of the company cars.

My car battery died, and, after having AAA jump start the car, I drove to Pep Boys. I met with Mr. Francisco Lopez and he showed me a few batteries and discussed how many amps., how many years warranty, etc. After receiving the total price, I asked if I could have gotten a better deal at Costco. WIth that, Mr. Lopez said, «probably,» so he knocked $ 40 off of the total, and that really surprised me. Ten minutes later the car was ready, and I was on my way. I have a new battery with a 6 year warranty, and received great service from Mr. Lopez. Love Pep Boys for quality and service. Thanks.

Excellent service, went in for a new tire and they had it done in 45 minutes. I even went back to get my old tire the next day so I could keep it for the next flat and Fransisco had it already there waiting for me!

Terrible place. Went in for 4 new tires & no one in the office to talk to me. Asked for help they said «0h they’re around somewhere!» Walked out.

Quick and easy. The online appointment scheduling system had two appointments available same day. It was a very smooth website process. Juan checked me in and got me out in 5 minutes. They called me when it was finished and the checkout was 2 minutes.

Quick service and very helpful service. Went into for an oil chamge and a brake chamge. Was in amd out on an 1hr and half. Fransico helped me out!

I called to ask a couple questions and the guy I spoke to I believe his name was Ray. He was SO rude. Completely cut me off as if he was tired of talking to me it was MAYBE a two minute conversation. He didn’t give me a second to ask anything else I was appalled at the over the phone customer service. Hopefully they are better with their hands then manners. Me personally I won’t give them a second look now.

We had a flat tire and they were nice and ready to help us. We left the car and went back one hour later. Francisco was very nice. Gave us the key to our car and the service invoice. We were very glad because we had the service for free. We thanked Francisco and left the place.
One day after having the tired serviced by Pep Boys first st, Santa Ana, the same tired blew out on freeway. Coincidence?
Well, my partner went to the store and explained what happened to me. They said the problem is not their fault. No commitment at all.
Coincidence or not you better look for another place when you have a flat tire.

They are only getting 2 stars because they found the issue of why my car was smelling like gas. Otherwise they’d be getting one star.
I went in last night for an oil change. My oil change came with tire rotation and an inspection of my car.
When I first brought up my car smelling like gas, the guy at the counter made it clear that they only due a surface inspection of the car. So anything they can see just by looking at the car.
So when I’m leaving he lets me know that they found the gas issue. But that is the ONLY thing they told me. Right when I drive out one of my tires pops. I barely made it around to the corner.
The guy came to look at my tire, and was like oh yeah that thing was gone. It was already coming apart. And then he pointed out one other tire that was close to being done. And I asked, shouldn’t this have been brought to my attention before I left. Isn’t that the whole point of the inspection. His response was, oh yeah. I asked what they were going to do, and he said well nothing really unless I want to buy new tires or they could put on my spare.
Yeah right! Maybe if you would had done the inspection correctly and told me about the tires before handing me my keys, then I would have been more inclined to buy tires from you. But since they let me drive off with no warning at all about my tires, I won’t be buying anything else from you guys.
When you give someone their keys back and don’t say anything is wrong, I’m going to assume that’s because nothing is wrong. You guys are lucky this happened in front of your business and not while I was driving on the freeway.
*note: they found the issue with the gas, they didn’t fix it. I’m definitely going to be going somewhere else to get that fixed. No more money to this location.*
