been going here for years and i love the food and super cheap

I come through here to pick up banh mi usually. My mom really likes the banh mi here. To be honest I think its because of the bread. They have really tasty bread here. As for the phở and other viet items, they’re pretty good too. I wouldn’t go far as to say its the best phở joint around (not even top 5) but its not bad at all.
I usually get the banh mi xu mai which is super bomb here. I remember sampling my aunt’s bun rieu from here and thought it was good too (its actually what got me to eat bun rieu). The phở is just ok. The service is your typical Vietnamese mom and pop place. You have to yell for service to come and when they serve your food thats it. Just the way I like it… not personal lol.
Overall its definitely one of my favorite banh mi places, phở not too much. Though if I’m ever in need to hide-​out from 5 – 0 then I’ll probably roll through here again just kidding.
PS I forgot about the shaken beef dish (its not bad either, but I’ve had better) its a hit or miss

I give the beef broth phở two big ol’ thumbs down.
The broth was WAAAAAAY too dark and cloudy. No, get out of here with that piece. Too much MSG. Too much. After taste was horrific.
If you want a chance, try the chicken phở. Broth looked much better.
It was a struggle to finish my bowl, but I was SO hungry.
Fresh coconut juice given to you in a boba cup, i.e. plastic top. Why. Where is my spoon? Now I have to rip the lid off. Argh, no.
Service was typical of a Vietnamese restaurant. So smiles. No menus. Sticky tables and un-​replenished utensils and other items.
Wham. Bam. No Thank you, ma’am.

Disgusting, My food was microwave. It was the last nights left overs, it wasn’t fresh. I ordered chicken and broccoli, broccoli was soggy and the other vegetables. There even lucky getting a one star. Service was horrible, I ask 3 times for water and they finally got it after I asked for the 4^th time.
