I was craving gorditas, so I decided to Unilocal it… And thanks to Unilocal,I found this food truck.
I wasn’t too sure what to expect, since it’s a food truck in the middle of Santa Ana.
It was located right next to the candy store on Main and Wilshire.
I ordered a few gorditas for my family and I.
They have a few different kinds… And they were all really good.
My favorite were the Rajas con queso, chicharon and the papas com chorizo. My sister also really enjoyed the tinga gordita.
I cannot wait to come back for more.

LOVE the food. Along with Mary’s Restaurant which is down the street, this is one of the businesses my family is loyal to. My parents have known the people who run it for a long time now and they’re very nice and deserving of a great review. The gorditas con chorizo y queso are amazing especially with the salsa they make which is delicious itself! When we take them home we also put crema fresca in them. Eating these is almost like a religious experience. I can’t recommend this place enough!

Ok we went here to buy menudo. Then i came on Unilocal and was very surprised that they were on here. Only because its a taco truck and thought it wouldnt be. One i read the review they had on here. I decided to order a chicharon & cheese gordita. all i can say is BOMB​.COM! I would recomend this place to anyone. Everytime im in the area ill make sure to stop by.

The first bite I took into the freshly handmade nopal gordita was like an «Anton Ego» type flashback. It took me back to my abuelita’s kitchen… the smell of masa ready to be shaped into tortillas or gorditas stuffed with savory fillings… the warmth hitting your lips… the slight crunch, but soft bite into the pocket.
Ricas Gorditas are as homemade as it gets. No oily, greasy taco truck food here. This is fresh and light (depending on your filling). My favorite is still the nopales con queso (cactus with cheese) or the tinga (shredded chicken in chipotle sauce).
One is enough, two will fill you and three if you’re a big eater. Buen Provecho!
