Smart & Final Extra! is the warehouse grocery store where households, businesses and community groups find great savings on groceries, supplies, produce, fresh meat, frozen foods, dairy and deli.
I just got hired there and I have my uniform shirt and name tag and coral already but it’s taking them awhile to train me for my position and give me my work schedule. Everytime i call to follow up with them they give me the round arounds and other excuses and I start school very soon so I need to know my work school schedule so I can work around it with school.

I tried to return a mop handle I had just purchased it for 6 dollars. I was insulted called a thief and accused of deliberately breaking it and trying to cheat the store I used to spend 400.00 to 600.00 a month there but no more thanks to stater bros.

Parents be careful shopping at this store with your children. I was there this morning and an employee came and scolded my kids for moving napkins around and apparently hitting objects with a shoe string that can, according to this employee, damage items.(I’ve never heard of a shoe string destroying anything). Apparently he was very upset he had to straighten out the napkins. So please beware of picking up an item and placing it in the wrong spot. I will never shop here again. Warning Disgruntled Employees on sight!!!

Its like Costco but much less crowded. This place is good for purchasing for a higher quantity. The price is somewhat affordable to expensive. I came in looking for one item, sea salt. This place is pretty big, well, its an average sized market. It took me about 10 minutes just to find it and I was literally looking and walking around to see if there was any staffs around cause I just needed some slight help. There was no one but cashiers. Place is pretty tidy though.

This place is clean and well-stocked. Prices are not competitive for area, however. I pass.

cheap food. bulk options. good selection of produce. I’ve been shopping here for a year now and for a single person making a not-so-high income, Smart & Final is a great place to go shopping. the lines can get long here and sometimes the produce isn’t as fresh as I’d like it. overall, great place to get my groceries!

I love this Smart & Final! I try to do all my grocery shopping here. I fill my cart to the point of overflowing and am always shocked at just how much less it is than I expected when it’s time to check out. They offer great products at a great value. The employees here are top notch; everyone is very friendly, helpful and I never hear anyone complaining.

I come here for the vegetables. There’s not a lot of grocery stores in this neighborhood, and I don’t like going to the mexican supermarkets(they treat non hispanics different there). So I stop here, grab some corn, ginger, and veggies, and the prices are very competitive.

This place is good to go to when u need big bulk items and you dont have to pay that yearly membership. But i have done some comparison and smart and final is way more expensive then costco when it comes to their bulk items

I’m glad that they finally decided to remove the entire membership card thing.

Super clean! Competitive prices on every day products like eggs & milk. In my experience, cheaper than Stater Brother’s, Ralphs, Albertson’s and Vons. My super market of choice. I’ve always spent 10⁄20 $ less there on groceries than when I would go to the latter stores.

NOCLUBCARDSNEEDED. This has been in effect for a while now. At least now that’s one less card I have to carry around. Now I can just walk in and shop. Good prices, but you gotta buy large sizes. Sometimes I just dont need a gallon of nacho cheese sauce!

I had to run in and get the forgotten cranberries on Turkey Day. Boom! Right by the front door. Woot! In and out in less than 5 minutes. I had never been to a Smart & Final Extra! or whatever it’s called. It’s like a market and Smart & Final combo. Awesome.

I was immediately taken back at the cleanliness and order of this store given the mess that is the target nearby. This smart and final comes fully equipped with a produce section that has a decent selection of well known fruits and vegetables. There is a meat and bread section that definitely needs some work and the rest of the store is stocked with standard grocery market fare: i.e. cereals, soups, frozen goods etc. A quarter of the store is stocked with drinks: Every soda, beer, hard liquor, energy drink you can imagine. There is a decent amount of bulk paper products too, making this store to stock up for a party

Pleasantly surprised to see a new and improved Smart & Final! Most notably, they now offer fresh produce by the pound. Sure, you can still buy a 10 lb bag of carrots, but they have some of the best pricing on produce in Santa Ana. The trinity of Mexican cooking, tomatoes, jalapenos and onions all less than 99 cents a pound! Plus, they have a huge selection center of the store grocery items(coffee, cereal, cookies) unlike what you can find at nearby Ranch Market and Northgate Market. Their meat case and fresh bread area leave much to be desired, but still can’t over their fresh produce! Great place to prep for a big party with the traditional big box items and tons of alcohol to choose from.
