Been dealing with Chris Langley for a while and all I can say is great things. He truly is quite knowledgeable, extremely personable, honest. and very communicative — He even returns phone calls in a very timely manner.
Chris Is a true professional and has care and concern for me and my situation.
If you are even «kind of» considering a bankruptcy, I cannot say enough about them.

After 5 consults with top rated BK attorneys on Avvo and here, I was starting to lose hope. Most of the meetings felt very rushed (lasting only 10 – 15 minutes) and were boiler plate driven — providing general information about the process, fees, etc. Maybe I’m too picky, but I just couldn’t get comfortable with committing to any of these attorneys after such a basic consult. Filing for BK is a life changing decision.
Luckily I did one more search on here and found Chris. His reviews seemed genuine so I called up his office and was immediately patched through by his receptionist. We talked for nearly TWO hours during this initial free consult. Chris listened intently, took detailed notes, asked intelligent questions, and provided valuable insight on how to best move forward with my unique situation. Most importantly, Chris showed that he cared — it felt like I was talking to a good friend. We did of course discuss his fees toward the end of the call which were very reasonable.
We then had a follow-​up in person consult (also no charge) at Chris’ office the next day, which lasted another 2+ hours. This meeting was more in depth, reviewing my provided documentation and further strategizing on the best course of action. As the meeting concluded, I felt extremely satisfied and appreciative of Chris time, and knew that he was the man for the job. Chris handed me his retainer agreement to take home and review (no pressure to sign right then and there at his office) and asked that I call him with any questions.
So far I’m very impressed. I will post updates as I move further through the process with Chris.

so far so good. I have a complex case because not only do I need to file for bankruptcy, but I’m in the middle of SSDI/​SSI hearing. I am also an authorized user of my mother’s credit cards. But every time I have a question, Charity, my attorney, answers my email right away. I only met Chris, the other Lawyer, only once. But he seems knowledgeable and nice as well. It takes a lot for me to trust people, but I am trusting Charity to take care of me, totally. Also, because I am still paying some of my old taxes, I am making payments to get my bankruptcy going. They are working with me, without any attitude. I really like my lawyer. I’ll keep you posted as my case moves along. By the way, their receptionist has a bit of an attitude. I called because I was told by Charity she will email my retainer agreement. when I didn’t get it in 2 days, I called to remind her. But when the receptionist answered my phone call, she made a smart ass remark of my case being started only 2 days ago… I’m supposed to get a copy the day that I came in for a consultation. I gave her a break because she looked busy. She should be greatful. Instead she gave me attitude. Total opposite of Charity. If Charity wasn’t so nice, I would’ve tore that receptionist a new one. If it happens again, I will. But the important point here is that I highly recommend my lawyers. You couldn’t find a nicer and knowledgeable attorneys.

These guys are top notch. Chris was extremely knowledgeable and took the time to explain all the pros and cons of bankruptcy to me. It was refreshing dealing with a good lawyer who is also a nice person. If you’re getting crushed by credit card debt Chris Langley is your guy.

My case was not a slam dunker by any means. I had consulted with several other attorneys only to feel like I was a horrible person and there was no way I would qualify for a Chapter 7. I felt that they had judged me.

You truly will not find a better bankruptcy attorney than Mr. Chris Langley. He is a rare individual who is both highly professional and cares about the people he represents. We feel so fortunate to have had the pleasure of working with him.
My husband and I had filed a Chapter 13 bankruptcy with another attorney. The results were horrible.
