History

Established in 1972.

Started welding at the age of 12 in a friends garage fixing my bikes then motorcycles and anything else I could do. Raced bicycles and motorcycles for 35 years and have worked building parts for Team Honda, Yamaha Suzuki Ducati Kawasaki and many smaller teams. As well as building Bicycle frames for many bike companies. As well construction of Handrails fencing and gates for the past 15 years.

Called to see if he could weld an aluminum valve cover for a vintage vehicle that had a crack in it. He told me he could do it and that he would be there for another hour, it was Saturday. I went over and he worked some amazing magic on my hard to find part that I was really broken up over. He did a great job, was fast, reasonably priced! Thanks for saving my part!

I had a crack in the bottom bracket of my Litespeed titanium bike frame. Johnny fixed it for $ 60. He fixed it on the spot. Johnny was friendly and confident about the repair. The repair would have been considerably more expensive had I sent it to Litespeed. I am a very satisfied customer and he will be my go to guy for all my future welding projects.

Needed to repair a broken bracket on my Jeep Commander and stopped by to see Johnny this morning.
I told him that I found his shop on Unilocal and wanted to see what could be done on my car. He took a quick look and said he could do it immediately while I waited! He estimated 60 minutes and took approx 45 mins to put me back on the road. As a certified auto technician myself (with no welding skills however), I was impressed with the preparation, process, and attention to detail. He told me what we was doing every step of the way.
I could not be more thrilled with his professionalism and communication throughout the process. Highly recommended!

Thank you for the excellent welding job on my 1960s vintage, all-​steel Trike from England. I was even more impressed with your overall skill-​set that goes across the board from bicycles to huge pieces of that super chrome that guys drool over! Pricing was fair and the trike ran great. I love that you take the time to help us bicycle lovers with your wickedly awesome skills.
Sorry it took me so long to write this. Unfortunately, somebody STOLE my Trike from right in from of a pre-​school I volunteer at in our sustainable school garden. I was very sad. Gonna post a photo of the welding job and maybe someone will recognize it.

Yesterday I was looking to have my jack of my boat trailer to be replaced. I called few places and this one happens to be open. He told me to come over, he will have it removed for $ 30.00. I got there, not only he removed the welded jack, he put the new one in, rewire the lines, made everything look good for only $ 40.00 for Everything. very nice, good customer service, very sincere people. They do any metal works and also build custom bicycles. If you need things done right, this is the place to go.

Johnny (Truetorch) made my stainless steel counter tops and I love them! Clean, seamless, quality! I also had him design and make my side gates. He created a beautiful seascape of fish swimming through the kelp underwater! I get tons of compliments on my art gates. Highly recommend him, he’s creative and a master at his craft!

So glad I found this place. The owner was very professional, knowledgable, quick and reasonably priced. I came to him with a aluminum stroller that had the bottom bar broken, and he was able to sauter it back together. What I didn’t know at the time was that all the brake cables were inside there, so he had to disassemble it, and put it back together.

went to this shop today for a welding job. i called many shops in the area looking for someone to weld my bicycle frame. this shop specializes in bicycle frames and welding. the job was done very well the price was good. no one else within miles does aluminum welding or even bicycle welding but this one specializes in that. johnny was really good, i highly recommend him if you need any bike repair
