Tustin Carpet and Flooring

We had a great experience with Duke and his team. We had all new gray laminate flooring installed throughout the upstairs and down the staircase, as well as two different tiles laid in two bathrooms. The jobs were completed timely with no ups and extras. In one case they ordered the materials, in another we went and picked them up from the vendor. They are very flexible, honest and do quality work. We get a lot of complements on our staircase with black risers as well as the flooring. We plan to use them again, I highly recommend.

This review is to share the experience I had with Duc (Duke) Nguyen at Tustin Carpet and Flooring. My work was looking for some grey commercial carpet and after numberous call to other vendors, Duke offered to help. His professional knowledge, great customer service and warm personality outshines a lot of vendors I’ve worked with. This truely speaks volume about him and his business.
He gave me great suggestions with competitive prices. Anyone who takes the time to help educate you on the product/​specifications and invest their time in sourcing the product exceeds my expectations for a business.

We are very impressed with Tustin Carpet and Flooring. We looked at several carpet stores and found Duke to have the best selection and good pricing! Duke was also great to work with. We were replacing the carpet in a home we just purchased. We wanted to have the rooms measured at the final walk through of the house but the time and day kept changing. Duke was flexible and able to accommodate us on short notice. The installation was quick and looks great!!! We chose a low carpet with a pattern so we were concerned about seeing the seam but you can’t see it. We had a great experience and will recommend them.

We had an excellent experience with Duke and his team. We had shopped around for prices on carpet, and Duke offered by far the fairest deal. He also struck us as far more trustworthy than any other carpet salesman we had met. We were so impressed with him during our consultation that we decided to consider him for our hardwood installation as well, and he also offered the fairest deal on that. Both the carpet and hardwood installers did an excellent job and finished the work quickly, efficiently, and with great results. Duke was extremely helpful through the whole process and offered the epitome of customer service. We couldn’t be more pleased and would highly recommend Duke and his team to anyone. You won’t find better value for money anywhere… trust me, we looked!

Great work and great customer service! We put new hardwood floors throughout our house, with the exception of the bedrooms and bathrooms, and the team got it done in no time. The work included two staircases and the demolition of tile, and they were still done in less than a week. It looks like a completely different house with the updates and we couldn’t be happier. Our floors look beautiful!

Duke Nguyen is the best! My husband and I had the great experience at Tustin flooring! We had to replace the carpet and flooring of our fixer upper house, and did a ton of research on carpet and tiles before selecting a company to buy from. Ultimately we decided on Mohawk smart strand triexta carpet, and porcelain tiles for high quality and lifetime durability. We got measurements and estimates from 3 different companies. From the very beginning mr Nguyen impressed us with his honest, no nonsense approach. He didn’t hassle or pressure us like the other two companies, he simply educated us on the product, gave us a fair price quote and encouraged us to shop around for a better deal. What also impressed us was that he didn’t talk trash on the competitors (like they did) and he quoted us on actual measurements, not adding 200 – 500 sqft to increase the price that we experienced with the other two. He is honest, upfront, professional, and a pleasure to do business with. Plus, he did have the best price by thousands of dollars! We could have still gone to one of the other companies because they do price match guarantee, but at the end of the day… If we are going to spend a significant amount if money, I’d rather support mr Nguyen’s business and feed his family rather than expand the purse of a huge corporation that I don’t trust. We also have a rental property that will need flooring eventually, and this time we know to go straight to Tustin flooring instead of shopping around. Honestly I am shocked that I am the first Unilocal review. If you are shopping for great quality carpet or flooring, want a good deal, and don’t want all the nonsense… go check this place out!
