My sisters and I waited until the day before my Mom’s big 50 birthday to order her cake. Carlos helped us figure out what we wanted on what would be the best way to present the cake for a large party. He was very accommodating with our requests and even sent me a picture of the cake the day of before it was delivered. The cake was beautiful and tasted great as well. Thank you!

I ordered my son’s birthday cake from here because of the great reviews in Unilocal,and I was beyond happy! I brought in a picture of the design I wanted and Carlos assured me that he could make it even better! He also let me sample some cakes to get an idea of the flavors. They were delicious, but I told him that many of my relatives didn’t prefer cakes that were too sweet (typical for Asians). He gave me some suggestions for flavors and told me he would tone down the sweetness. I ended up ordering a two tier cake, the top being red velvet with cream cheese frosting, and the bottom tier being marble cake with fresh strawberries and cream. Everyone at the party thought the cake was beautiful and they loved the way the cake tasted as well! It was really delicious and many of my friends asked where I ordered it!
5 stars for customer service, design, and flavor! I will definitely be ordering more cakes from here in the future!

Cake, cake, cake, cake, cake! Everyone deserves a cake for their birthday, especially when you’re turning 30.
I’m big on procrastinating so I didn’t decide on where or what kind of cake I wanted to get for my boyfriend’s big 3-​OH. I browsed Unilocal the day before his birthday celebration and found Victoria’s. I was highly impressed with the Unilocal pictures and reviews so I decided to go with them. I took to Pinterest, found what I envisioned, and placed my call at around 12:30pm. Thankfully, they were able to accommodate my request for pickup the following day at 4pm! Communication was easy and they kept me posted when my cake was ready.
The cake turned out amazing and even better than the picture I had sent. I loved it and my boyfriend loved it. I chose to go with chocolate with nutella filling and it was delicious. It was not overly sweet and surprisingly the leftovers tasted even better the following day. The cake got more moist and rich. Yum!!!
Victoria’s is a hole-​in-​the-​wall establishment located in a dingy, sketchy, corner strip – very unassuming, but they got the job done. That’s all that matters. They also even offered to help me to my car.
The price for the cake was reasonable for a single tier fondant cake and they gladly applied a 10% Unilocal check-​in when I mentioned it. Thank you Victoria’s Bakery for the cake! I’ll be sure to order all my custom cakes here.

This bakery is awesome… HIGHLY recommend if you are having an event and need a cake… we walked in with an idea on monday and needed it for Saturday Carlos was able to help us get the perfect style and flavors with plenty of time for the party… we ordered a semi naked 3 tier cake… it was so gorgeous the birthday girl didn’t want to cut it… BUT man I was glad she did… it EASILY fed all 150 guests and there was plenty for leftovers ;)…everyone loved how it tasted… fruit fillings were fresh and delicious… the staff wasnt pushy or rude… they let us try the cake before hand and were extremely patient and genuine… all in all ¹⁰⁄₁₀

This is a late review, but since I am ordering another cake I figured I’d write my post! I was throwing a «night in TJ» themed surprised birthday party and I wanted to get a cake that was really nice for my bf. I found this cake shop on Unilocal and decided to give it a try. I walked in and the size of the place I figured I wasn’t going to get a nice cake from such a hole in the wall place, but I was wrong! Not only did I give her what I imagined but they took it to another level of awesomeness and made the best cake I could have asked for. So impressed and the bright colors and prints were so neat!!! Can’t wait to see my next cake! It tasted great too!

Tell me this isn’t the cutest arrangement you’ve ever seen. I contacted Kathy at the VERY LAST MINUTE (literally one day’s notice) for an order last month and she was extremely kind and generous to fulfill it. Because it was so last minute I expected her to only be able to provide basic single cupcakes, but she went above and beyond to make them pull apart cupcakes! And even in the shape of a caterpillar to match our organization! We received many compliments on these cupcakes that night. The cupcakes were delcious, rich, and full of texture. I definitely recommend ordering your baked goodies from Kathy at Victoria’s Bakery because she will not do you wrong. Thank you so much again Kathy!

I love ordering from this place, the smaller cakes usually range from $ 40-​$ 80 but are always worth it in the end. Our favorite to order is chocolate with nutella filling.

Victoria’s Bakery always delivers exactly what they promise. This is our 3^rd time ordering from this bakery and they always do such a great job! I ordered my sons 1^st birthday cake with o my a week’s notice and gave them an image of what I wanted his cake to look like. The cake they made was even better. We got compliments all night long on the way the cake looked and the flavor of the red velvet with the cream cheese frosting.

I asked the staff at Victoria’s Bakery to make cakes for my girlfriend’s birthday, and my good friend’s birthday and they surpassed my expectations! Communication was easy, I was able to text pictures of what I had in mind to them and they were able to give me an affordable quote, with a weeks time to deliver. I ordered a realistic 3 dimensional Star Wars BB-​8 cake for my girl, and an Oakland Raiders cake for my friend. Both came out looking amazing, and I couldn’t stop looking at all the little details they had added! They both tasted great too! One was red velvet, the other was chocolate. I would recommend Victoria’s to anyone shopping for a custom cake, and I can’t wait to order another cake from them in the future!

After researching customized cakes around Santa Ana area. I decided to choose Victoria’s Bakery for its great rating and amazing pictures. I first contacted the staff (not sure about her name) through phone then we just communicated through text message. Since it’s my BF’s birthday and I wanted to have cake ready in less than 6 days, I was worried if the cake couldn’t be delivered on time. I showed her the picture I wanted to do and she provided the estimate price and delivery date in less than 10 min! For flavor, I asked her about the popular flavor and she recommended marble and nutella filling. The cake eventually came out great however its not as pretty as the picture I showed. They delivered on time to the address I provided and my BF was really happy and surprised about the cake. They also have really reasonable price compared with Mill’s bakery. In terms of customer service, they did a much better job than Mill’s. The owner of Mill’s quoted me double the price of Victoria’s and the staff who picked up my phone call could not even speak English. I am satisfied with Victoria’s Bakery service. The flavor of cake was also great. We have around 12 people and the cake could feed 20 people!

My boyfriend got two AMAZING cakes from here for my birthday and a friend’s birthday. A Star Wars BB-​8 cake and an Oakland Raiders cake. Both looked amazing and tasted great! We will definitely be back.

Being a person who thinks customer service could be a deal breaker when it comes to me coming back or staying the hell away from a place, I must admit Victoria’s bakery has always been on top of their game when it comes to that!
This is a review that should have been written years ago lol. I have been coming to this little hidden gem in Santa Ana for 4 years straight now for every birthday occasion.
Kathy and her husband run this place and they are two of the nicest people you could possibly meet.
My son’s birthday was April 5 and I came last minute on April 4^th hoping to order a cake for the next day! Carlos helped me out and gave me a few of his ideas on a Star Wars cake for my soon to be 6 year old! I was googling & googling all day trying to find the right one!
I had finally found the one! Unfortunately I was an all fondant cake and it would have been impossible to do that with regular frosting since i hate fondant.
Carlos worked with me on trying to incorporate the faces on the cake instead of the big character face i wanted. I also wanted the light saber things as well. I bet i was so difficult to work with because it seemed like the whole enchilada & them some on this cake !
When i came in on the 4^th, they only had some funky looking airplane thing as the only Star Wars themed cake toy. So i just asked him to work his magic w/​o the toys. The next day when I arrived to pick up! I had TWO fondant light saber things, and 4 of character faces on the cake. Carlos definitely went out of his way knowing a customer (me) wanted Star War characters on the cake and he did just that! He made my son’s jaw drop when he saw the cake!
Thank you for making my son’s day a whole lot better and for all your help! Poor guy probably had to take anxiety pills after i left! The cake guys, was BOMB! :)

Found this place on Unilocal.I had a last minute emergency for a smash cake. I called and they were so accommodating and said they can help make one for me right away. I could only briefly explain what I wanted for the cake over the phone but when I picked it up it was even better than I pictured.

I use Unilocal a great deal and in looking for a bakery to make a birthday cake, I was impressed by the reviews and most of the pictures for Victoria’s bakery. So I placed an order. The woman who answered the phone was ver friendly and asked me to text her a picture of the cake I wanted, texted the store number. She got back to me very quickly and assured me that they can duplicate the cake.
Unfortunately, I must have gotten the worst baker there or perhaps someone who was learning. Below is what I order and what I received. The cake decorations were very sad, to say the least. Spots on the cake were also missing color, the fondant wasn’t Rolled or molded consistently, nothing was even. I was very disappointed. The colors were vibrant.
The cake was a bit dry, but the filling was good.
I had higher hope of getting a great cake for a reasonable price, I left the bakery disappointed and was embarrassed to serve the cake at my daughters party. Luckily, she was just happy it was a Shopkins cake.

Amazing Talent and Work. Came In On Monday To Place A Last Minute Order for My Boss’ Birthday Cake, To Be Picked Up The Next Day at Noon, and They Didn’t Turn Me Away or Give Me An Excuse of Needing A Week’s Notice, Like Other Bakeries I Called Around Orange County.
They Were Welcoming and Friendly When I Walked In, and Asked Me About What I was Looking for. They Offered Suggestions and Different Prices. I Had A Picture of What I Wanted and They Pulled Through and Made It Even Better. I Loved The End Result. I Could Not Stop Looking at The Cake, Driving Back To Work. I Received So Many Compliments from People at Work. Everyone Took Pictures of The Amazing Cake.

I am writing this review for my 25^th birthday cake. I heavily hinted to my boyfriend about the exact design I wanted (8-​inch round white cake with periwinkle fondant, quilted patterns w/​silver pearls and silver pearl border on the edges of the cake and giant silver «25» on top). Yes — I know — extremely detailed!
My bf ordered my cake about 4 days before my birthday. Victoria took the order and gave an estimate as well. My boyfriend says it was reasonably priced and that there was nowhere else I was going to get such a detailed and specific cake on such short notice for a better deal.
He also said that the bakery doesn’t look much like one from the outside and that they bake the cakes in the back. Overall, a good deal for a custom cake! Most people don’t like fondant but I loved my birthday cake! I got so many compliments on the cake and everyone asked me where we ordered from. Victoria’s truly a hidden gem and I will definitely continue to recommend this bakery to friends.
